after the huge amazing response I got from my ace!Jiang Cheng comic - all of the ace people saying how amazing it felt to be acknowledged, and all of the people who came to me saying that they hadn’t realised they were ace until they read the comic - I decided I wanted to make something for ace awareness week. it’s not quite as pretty or feelsy as the other comic, but there are so many people even within the LGBT+ community who just… genuinely do not understand asexuality, I figured even something basic would help :)

Iconic Things My Coding Professors Have Said (and it’s only day one)

“that sounds very hacky, but smart”

*Entire class and prof spends fifteen minutes trying to solve a problem before eventually giving up* “great work guys, that was some good debugging”

“is this a super big issue?” *longggg dramatic sigh* “… yes”.

Professor 1: “it’s still not working? um… okay, maybe you should… turn off your wifi and turn it back on again?“   Professor 2: “40 years of experience in networking and computing at its finest”

“whenever i’m doing my taxes, i never use the calculator app on my phone, i always just open up a notebook and use python and i think thats very brave of me”

“your life quality with improve when you use python 3 instead of python 2. your skin will improve and you’ll even sleep better”

“Confessions of a Demisexual”

I have come to realize I identify as a demisexual. After trying to figure out a way to explain to my friends and family, I wanted a visual to help me explain it and what it means to me. I searched the internet and I couldn’t really find a comic that could help visualize my personal feelings on the topic so I decided to put this together.

I had a lot more information I wanted to include, but I didn’t want it to be overwhelming as I felt this was already a pretty informative piece. I feel like if there is more to share, including my personal experiences, or to help clarify misconceptions, etc. I will consider it!
