You care so much, they care so little. You make an effort, they refuse to try. You’ve been making them a priority as you’ve become secondary to everything else in their life. You refuse to walk away while they provide no reasons for you to stay. You’re expecting happiness as your own love for them has made you hopeful but sometimes hope kills.
