I know we love to joke about Trevor being the village idiot (and I also enjoy the meme, not gonna lie) but Trevor Belmont is the furthest thing from stupid.

Just because he wasn’t a polymath or scientist like Alucard’s parents doesn’t mean Trevor isn’t extremely smart.

i really think my all time favorite trope is the "what a bunch of a-holes" bc it combines the softness of the found family, but the comedy of incredibly socially chaotic and maladaptive adults wreaking havoc with a crippling tendency for dysfunctional team dynamics, all in the name of a generally morally upstanding motive, though executed in the most erroneous way possible

Does anyone else think that Alucard still carries around or has the Trevor and Sypha dolls stashed somewhere? Like they’re all worn out after 300 years but he still talks to them like the first time, that he made ones of their kids too. I’m actually crying over this.

One thing I love about Castlevania (2017-2020) is if it had been released ten years ago there would have shipping wars between Sypha/Belmont shippers and Belmont/Alucard shippers but because we are all far more advanced now most people seem to have all settled on sypha/belmont/alucard and I personally think that’s beautiful

One thing that delights me about Trephacard is how you know these three are taking turns in the braincell. Trevor and Sypha about to unleash chaos? Alucard is there to make sure the ramifications of the chaos are at least considered. Alucard and Trevor are squabbling? Sypha tells them to get their shit together. Sypha and Alucard lacking in street smarts? Trevor makes sure they don't get robbed
