Tomatillos are wonderful but I have so much I don't know what to do with. Especially in terms of canning /processing into bulk sauce!

Loving the variety of sunflower colors and patterns we're getting, first time growing a lot of sunflowers like this and it's going well. Pretty and helps further restore the soil!

So we need to use a cane now, rather emotional since uh yeah we've had strong denial of disabilities and fear of being perceived in some form by those around us. Friends and headmates have helped a lot with processing and being comfortable with this new reality.
The house were building will have wheel chair and other accessibility baked in since I do need to consider possibility of needing to use a wheel chair now.
Like no reason to make our life harder, and there's people around us who do want to help us. (especially like our room mate who's had to pick us up when we've collapsed from muscle weakness)

I have faceting machine but due to the temperatures outside, not really feasible. Been doing a lot of faceting by paw now.
Anyway here's something I faceted from my semi precious /non precious mineral pile. (the pile is primarily for everything we rockhound for and acquire that doesn't have true identification beyond rough guesses. And legitimately there's no real deviating line on what's previous or not, topaz used to be considered a highly sought after one after all.)

One of the common answers I give when people ask about reason for doing this system of agriculture, is that nature is as communal as any "human".
There is no dividing imaginary line between nature and our own interaction or connection with it. When we're harvesting, it's with the understanding you'll help continue to tend and preserve the place you harvested from, a lasting unspoken bond.

The other sunflower I planted got extremely massive suddenly, which is big sucess, waiting for my other flowers as well
Dent corn is ready to be harvested as well.
