After a few days brainrotting over Luke Patterson and ESPECIALLY THE LUKE X REGGIE EDITS, I just had to draw a couple panels of Percy x Jason

Last bit of the Percabeth x Before Sunrise Comic Brainrot I'm on.

Back when I was still in the closet, Percabeth had always been my personal vision of what romance was. Besties to lovers. When I tell you that after I watched Before Sunrise, that movie rewired something in my head. That attraction can be born out of the experiences we could have with strangers???

Anyway I'm aroace now, but the idea of romance is just something so weird but pretty.

I was rewatching Before Sunrise and just could not stop myself from drawing Percabeth in some scenes.

Tho I dont know what books they should show each other though

Before Sunrise was really just one of my first exposure to what mature romantic relationships were, and one that seemed pretty realistic honestly.

PERCY JACKSON FANS HEAR ME OUT!

It’s season 3 of the PJO show AKA The Titans Curse. Percy (Walker) is sitting in front of Aphordite Goddess of Love and Beauty who just so happens to look like an older version of his best friend Annabeth (Leah) totally unrelated we’re sure.

Then he blinks and the beautiful woman in front of him changes….now she has brown hair and blue eyes she smiles, its Alexandria Daddario movie Annabeth. Just a split second cameo and then she’s gone.

Now a different woman is sitting in front of Percy, a woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes Kristen Stokes Lightning Thief Musical Annabeth. She shifts and changes again.

The final and last woman we see before Percy has curly blonde hair, tanned skin, and stormy grey eyes it’s book Annabeth.

Percy doesn’t realise it but we do. The Goddess of love shows him every version of the girl he loves from every universe he loves her in. It’s beautiful, it’s cinema, it needs to happen.

Whenever I think of Camp Jupiter.. I just get so.. mad. Knowing that even after 11 years of Jason's sheer service, even after the fact that he dedicated his whole life to Rome at the age of 2, a ripe CHILD, a BABY, nobody even cared to look for him even 6 months after his disappearance..??

Nobody went "I miss Jason!" Like everyone did in Camp half blood for Percy, even the hunters of Artemis went out of their way to look for him. Jason's "friends" Dakota or Gwendolyn never spared a glance at his direction, his friendship with Reyna was fractured because of communication issues, etc.

Camp Jupiter was, realistically NOTHING without Jason (and Reyna duh) yet they have the audacity to neglect him.

And then they cheaply "made up" for it by giving him some grand state funeral. What's the point? His body was wrapped in an expensive silk, but his soul left that world feeling useless and unwanted. An expensive fancy funeral isnt going to change that.

His funeral was dark and empty, because not a single one of his Greek friends could make it.

Jason Grace was doomed to be chained to the clutches of the soulless camp of Rome till the very end. Like Michael Varus said "born a roman, die a roman"

Camp Jupiter was more or less a dystopian society covered up with beautiful architecture. Like shiny fake gold that wears off its glow.

From the pillars, water started to gush out as Juniper, Eudora, and Mellie walk down the aisle. My heart was thumping in my chest, my ear rung, my fingers shook. I failed to take in the petals fluttering in the air, the scent of the strawberry fields wafted in the air. Water rose on the aisle going up to their ankles as the mist shrouds the aisle, but I only cared for what awaited beyond the waterfall at the other end of this aisle.

I am back from my sabbatical (university 💀) and have come to finish the brainrot that I have started and must now bury myself into.

Last 3 pages will be up next week and I cannot believe this chapter in my almost decade long obsession with this series is coming to an end... Updates on Percy Jackson content next week 💙

I would SELL MY SOUL for a percy vs chrysaor rematch. like imagine 19/20 year old percy - who’s practiced his sword fighting technique almost every day since moving to new rome - facing chrysaor again. like think about how awesome that would be? (somebody play “he’s a pirate” from the pirates soundtrack.) two legendary sons of poseidon locked in the most legendary sword fight in olympian history. a major upset to nature. and percy would disarm him which probably hasn’t happened in centuries - If ever - and it would be the biggest mic drop ever.
