The Game Informer magazine gave the first two Mario Party games very low scores in their reviews, scoring Mario Party at 25/100 and Mario Party 2 at 52/100. After this, Nintendo of America sent them this sarcastic certificate of appreciation for the reviews, which is still displayed at the Game Informer offices to this day.
