all mischaracterizations piss me off but one i hate the most is that will is dirty/smells/is messy because have you SEEN his house. everything is neat and organized, he takes good care of his dogs, he’s always decently well groomed. the only time he’s all sweaty and gross is when he’s having nightmares and i’m assuming he doesn’t just get up and walk around like that because if he smelled wouldn’t hannibal have pointed it out? the only time hannibal mentions anything about how he smells is his shitty aftershave and the encephalitis. will is by no means a slob and people assume he is because he’s an outfit repeater (no crime in that because same) and i think because people get so caught up in the idea of hannibal & will being opposites that they think since hannibal is more uptight(?) and put together that will is the complete opposite. i hope that makes sense maybe i’m just too obsessed with details in the show but i know my babygirl isn’t dirty
