♚ — "What do you expect me to do, fight your army? I bet even a man like yourself --" Charming attempted to hold back his sarcasm, " -- would beg at some point. Don't you think?"
As he was flung to the ground, the prince took his time responding. Gripping his throat in an attempt to gain extra oxygen, and giving a few coughs for good measure.
"I was hiding, because I know how to pick a fight. This is not one I wish to participate in." He replied, with a bit more bark than he had to back up.

⊰ ☠ ⊱ "You people are all the same. Begging for your life. You must know it it pathetic, weak," Shan-Yu spits out, clearly enraged with what was just said to him. And it was true, they were always scared, always begged him for mercy, always claimed they weren’t a problem.
Inhuman yellow eyes blazed down into the other man’s, as if they were able to glow in the darkness. “Desperation.” That last word hung in the air like the stars in the sky. He said it with such hatred, such disgust.
Shan-Yu tosses the man back down to the ground from the neck, rising up to his feet. “Why were you hiding?” He answers the question with another question.

"You wondered into the woods without knowing where you were?
No one has truly claimed this area, but Far Far Away, I suppose."
“Call it whatever ya want.
So, where am I exactly at, prince?”

"Yes, well, I've killed someone. Who's the threatening one in this conversation again?"
"I could definitely be the tyrant type. If I wanted to, I mean."
"I sent someone to the dungeons once. Granted it was for like five seconds because I thought I lost one of my favorite dolls down there - and really who would let a little girl play down there in the first place, so unsafe - but the point is I sent someone to the dungeons. Impressive, huh?”

"I see."
"Well, luck has always been on my side. However, I'm not that worried at the moment. You don't seem like the tyrant type."
"I’m Princess - wait, you already knew that. Except it’s pronounced Ahnna. My name’s simple too, but you’d be surprised at how many people get it wrong.”
"You’re lucky I like blondes. Or I’d be kind of mad at you for like, talking down to me."

Well. She was very blunt.
But, how could he say no? Why would he want to? The moment was perfect; there was a crowd of other royals surrounding them, and Charming couldn't help but think that this kiss would start his future.
A future full of riches and extravagant parties.
"I thought's you'd never ask, my queen." After a moment of pause, Charming pressed his lips against Fiona's.
As he narrated his travel, she continued dancing, until the music finally stopped, the rest of the guests clapping as she held her true love’s hand.
Not a single scar. How flawless was that? “My Prince, Prince Charming, I’m flattered you survived such terrible moments just to save me from that beast, and now, it’s the moment when we share the true love’s first kiss.” She said, pursing her lips, ready for this moment. She was born ready.

Ah, his reflection. What a glorious thing to look at --- Holding up the mirror, Charming admired his features. Pushing up on his cheek bones and smoothing out the front of his hair.
That is, until two men sat down in front of him.
"There something you want?"
Why his Uncle had chosen this place was beyond him. Sure, it was far away from the Fire Nation, but he doubted that anyone here would be of interest. Let alone the guy before him who seemed to only be able to check himself out every chance he got.

♚ — "I.. was hopeful for such a thing," His words were strangled, and the prince attempted to wiggle out of the man's grasp. However, sharp nails dug into his neck instead, showing him that it he was better off with staying still.
How humiliating.
"If you.. would ---- please, I'm no danger to your men." Duh. "Do I look like an enemy of yours?" Charming had never seen this army before, and their wardrobe was certainly a bit.. different. So, the answer to his question seemed to be obvious.

⊰ ☠ ⊱ Oh, a pretty boy. How incredibly fitting for the situation. One that had a mouth to run. By the way he fought his men with merely words. It would need to take more than that to stop his army. A lot more.
Shan-Yu takes out his sword before reaching the man on his knees, stabbing the tip into the ground and leaning on the handle, resting his chin casually down. He reveals his fangs out from behind his lips.
“Hi,” Shan-Yu says sarcastically before taking his hand and wrapping it around the smaller man’s neck, bringing their faces closer together as he squeezed just enough to render the other man powerless. “What were you doing hiding in the shadows from me? Did you think I would not find you?”
