angel-things from last summer. I like the idea of wings as disadvantageous/nonfunctional limbs. they probably just cause a lot of back pain.

We had to design a book cover as part of our final for digital illustration, and I chose Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wind In The Door! The character here is Proginoskes, a “singular cherubim”.

Rose Benvenuto crashed her car on a road in 1998. Rose smashed into the railing, and surprisingly didn’t have any injuries. Rose believes her lack of injuries was because of her guardian angel. Later a photographer, named Sharon Boo arrived at the scene, and took photos of the damage. When the photo was developed, a transparent white ghost like figure was seen. Rose and the photographer believed that the image is of an angel.
