The sky is so blue, it’s almost blinding. The grass beneath your feet feels so comforting. When was the last time you felt like this? When was the last time you found yourself feeling happy once again? Why couldn’t you just do this all the time?
There you stood, alone in the field, looking up at the clouds in the sky. You watch as a shimmer of gold appears in your vision. You aren’t sure what it is, as it is too far away, but something about it makes your heart skip a beat. You’re desperate to chase after it. It’s like it’s calling out your name.
You begin running towards the golden shimmer. Your eyes widen when you see the majestic sight in front of you. High up in the sky is a beautiful slinky dragon. It floats in the clouds, looking like it’s trying to find peace by just flying in the sky.
When it notices you, it comes down fast. The dragon headbutts into you, making a happy little yelping noise. Your heart flutters at the sweet affection. There’s this deep feeling there that you don’t know where it's from, but you won’t question it. Gently, you begin to pet the fur on the top of the dragon’s head.
“Hello there, sunbeam.” You affectionately give it a nickname.
The dragon seems to be almost smiling. You begin to pet it, longing to feel the cool scales on your skin. You gasp as you feel a part where the scales are missing. The dragon pulls away, almost ashamed of what just happened.
You look at the scar on the dragon’s body. It almost seems to be in the shape of a flower. It’s trying to hide it from you, trying to keep the scar hidden. But it’s much too late. You’ve seen it. You try to move closer, but the dragon hisses at you.
“I-I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to…I…”
But you’re at a loss for words. How could you ever come up with an excuse for this? This is clearly a large source of shame for the dragon. It begins to fly up in the sky, and then soon shoots off and leaves you behind. A big sadness fills you completely, overwhelming all your senses.
You want to reach up, and fly high. You want to be able to be with the dragon. You’re almost certain that you must have dreamt this encounter, but you didn’t. It was real and the dragon was real and now you’re sad…no, you are devastated that it’s gone.
All because you touched the scar.
Tears sting your eyes as you look up at the sky for a sign of the dragon. You try calling out but your voice gets stuck in your throat. He’s gone and you don’t know if he’ll ever return.
Your heart hurts. It longs for something you can’t have. You finally gather your breath and you scream. You scream and cry, wanting him to return. But after a few minutes, you collapse to your knees and you begin to sob. How could the dragon just leave?
After a while, you gather yourself up and you leave the field. You go back down the winding path you took to get here, feeling a sense of loneliness and longing invading your every fibre. With every step you take into the dark forest, you feel like there’s a part of you that’s crumbling away.
That night, you have the most vivid dreams of being on the dragon’s back. You hold onto him tightly. There’s a soft giggle that erupts from you as he dives down closer to the ground, only to fly back up towards the clouds. It’s such a rush of adrenaline to feel the wind whipping around you like this.
But it leaves you cold and empty once more as you wake up. You’re drenched in sweat, wondering if you’ll ever get over this sensation. The feeling of love and acceptance may never come to be when you’re longing to be with the dragon once more.
It’s weeks before you can head back into the empty field that’s connected to the forest behind your home. You keep dreaming about the dragon. You wonder if there’s some sort of link between you and him. You want to be near him, so desperately.
You sit on a blanket and you place the basket nearby. If he won’t come to you, perhaps you can still enjoy the peaceful afternoon with a picnic. The sun is bright but it’s not too hot. You lay back, looking up at the clouds. Where is he? You wonder if maybe he’s sensed these feelings too.
And just when you’re about to give up hope, you see the golden shimmer once more. It begins to fly towards you, and you notice something off about it. The closer it gets, the more you realize he’s bleeding.
The dragon crashes down not too far from where you’re sitting, prompting you to rush over. It moans in pain, thrashing about as the bleeding continues. Slowly and carefully, you approach him. The dragon spots you, and you can see tears in his eyes.
“Don’t go! Let me help!”
Your words reach him this time. He allows you to inspect him and you notice that the scar is irritated. The bleeding is coming from there. You shudder as you press your hand on it. Applying pressure to the wound, you are desperate to stop the bleeding.
“I won’t…I won’t let you bleed out. No…I’m here.”
The dragon lets out a sad huff. It lays its head on your lap, tears sliding down its cheeks. With one hand, you keep pressure on the wound. With the other, you begin to pet him. There’s this magnetism going on between you two. Almost as if you two have met before, even longer than just a few weeks ago. There are memories there that you cannot pinpoint, but they flash by in your mind.
The knowledge of how you came to know this dragon, it’s all there. When you were a child, that dragon was there with you. The lonely childhood you had was less lonely because this dragon played with you. It helped shape you into the human you are now.
Tears slide down your cheeks now as you see the crimson blood staining your hand. You’re not sure you can stop the bleeding. But you won’t abandon him. This is the one creature in this world that has cared for you for so long, and now it’s all coming back to you.
“It was you,” you say as you nuzzle your face in his fur. “You’ve been with me this whole time. And I’m not going anywhere! I’m not going to abandon you when you need me most.”
You kiss his snout, your tears dripping down onto his face. You keep your hand on the wound, wishing for him to stop bleeding. The dragon cries with you, then lets out a soft roar. The sound is almost comforting in its own right. Your heart aches, you feel like maybe this is goodbye.
“Please,” you beg. “Please don’t leave me. It feels like we’ve only just met once again. Please.”
The sound of your voice warms him up. He rubs his snout against your face, letting out a very soft growl. You kiss his snout once more, then you focus on the wound. You press both hands on the wound.
“I love you,” you finally say. “This whole time, my whole life…you’re the only one who’s been there for me. I don’t know why I lost my memories of you, but now that you’re here with me again, I’m not going to lose you!”
The declaration of love makes him feel so warm inside. You notice how there’s a shining light beneath your hands. You slowly peel them back to show that the bleeding has stopped. Your hands are stained with a golden liquid. No longer is it crimson.
Then there’s a blinding light that flashes before your very eyes. You shield them from the light, turning away. When everything settles, you look over at where the dragon was. In its place, it’s now a very tall and lanky man. There’s still the golden liquid coming from him, but it has slowed to almost a stop.
He reaches for you, a soft smile on his face. You lean in closer, a laugh of disbelief coming from you. He holds onto you tightly, his long blond hair tickling your face.
“It’s always been you. You’re the one…my one and only.” He whispers softly. “And now that you’ve shown me true love…”
He hiccups softly as he tries to hold back the tears. Both of you are trying to stop crying, but it’s so difficult when all these emotions come bubbling up. Finally, you just lean in and kiss his lips.
The wind blows around you both, making you shiver. Toshinori wraps his arms around you a little more tightly, rubbing your exposed skin. Then he rubs his nose against yours, smiling softly.
“It’s always been you.” He says again.
“I won’t ever leave you,” you tell him.
He brings you to rest on his chest carefully. You’ve noticed how the golden liquid has turned back to a crimson color. He’s no longer bleeding, but you will tend to him again. You’ll tend to him when you both overcome these strong emotions that are making you feel so overwhelmed.
“I love you too,” he whispers in your ear.
And in that very moment, everything feels right again.

👀👀👀 #48 with Dabi, please please please 🙏
warnings: smut, oral sex(male receiving), slight rivalry, reader is a villain| dividers: @adornedwithlight
You’re the newest member of the League. Dabi is so cold towards you. He’s not necessarily nicer to the others, but he seems more open to talking to them instead of you. This leads to the two of you often having arguments whenever you call him out for his piss poor behavior.
He doesn’t really seem to care about what you think, and the more he acts cold and aloof with you, the more it makes you hurt inside. You had a little crush on him when you first met him, but the more he rejected you, the more you just found yourself resenting him.
The days go on, and you two are paired up on a mission together. He’s surprisingly a good team player with you, showing you the ropes and trying to make sure you don’t get too hurt. You’re trying to get more people to join the League, and trying to gather some intel.
There’s a night where you and Dabi have to find a place to stay together. It’s in this damp motel that charges by the hour, but neither of you really care. It’s just a place to lay down and catch some Zs before heading off to meet with the rest of the League.
You get out of the shower and get settled on the bed. Dabi makes a jab at your pyjamas, calling them girly and childish. You blush and try to argue back, stating that he never changes his clothes and he stinks.
He throws his head back and laughs. There’s a look of amusement written all over his face. He seems very entertained. Then he sits close to you on the bed, leaning closer.
“You always want to have the last word.” Dabi comments. “Always want to argue with me. Isn’t it becoming a little old?”
You scoff. “You’re one to talk! Always being cold to me!”
Dabi laughs again, then when he looks back at you, his eyes seem a little more tender. He leans in and cups your cheeks, brushing them with his thumbs. The kiss he gives you is a little more sweet than you were anticipating.
When he pulls away, there’s a smirk on his face. He stands up and unbuckles his belt. Your eyes widen but you can’t deny the growing need inside of you. You look up at him and he caresses your cheek once more.
“Shall we put that mouth to better use, hm?”
Your jaw drops when he pulls down his pants and unveils his hard cock. It’s thick and dripping precum. He begins to stroke it, placing the head on your lips. He slaps your lips a few times with the head before squeezing on your cheeks to get you to open your mouth. Your tongue lolls out and a bit of drool drips down your chin. Dabi smirks before he places his cock on your tongue.
“Show me how much you want me. I know you want me, and let me tell you something…I want you too.”

He didn’t expect you to leave. Although he should’ve, and deep down he knows that too. It adds up: the late nights when he left you home alone, every missed birthday and anniversary, and most of all his bad temper. It would be too much for anyone to take. You’d taken it for much longer than most would because you loved him.
You never put up a fuss, but this time he had promised. He was going to be all yours for the whole day. He’d let Burnin run things for a while, figuring it’d be good practice for when he inevitably retires one day.
It was supposed to be a good day. You’d started the morning by making love and then went downstairs to have breakfast together for the first time in years. It was a beautiful morning, but it ended all too soon.
He didn’t even make it to lunch.
You were getting ready to go out, making yourself up all pretty for him, when you heard his phone ring. He was in the hallway, pacing as he talked in hushed tones. You could tell he was talking to Burnin.
“It can’t be helped. If I’m needed, then I’m needed,” he said before disconnecting the call.
“Is something wrong, sweetie?” you asked, trying to mask the disappointment in your voice.
He didn’t even try to seem disappointed as he explained the situation. There was some sort of hostage situation, and his presence had been requested. Although, it seems like something another hero could handle just as well. Maybe even better, all things considered. He wouldn’t hear you, though. He was already suiting up to leave.
“I’ll make it up to you,” he offered half-heartedly.
You felt too defeated to dodge his kiss before he left. You’d decided to try to salvage the day by preparing a romantic dinner for when he returned home. You’d set the table, and sat with a bottle of wine to wait for him to come home. You’d almost finished the bottle, night had long since fallen, when he texted you that something more had come up and he was going to be late coming in. That’s when you’d made up your mind to leave.
And now he stands at that same table, the dishes still set out and a bouquet in the center. He read your note over and over.
"I'm not coming home, don't look for me,” was all you wrote.

MASTERLIST // -> Next chapter (coming soon) // Taglist
You've never experienced the feeling of coming home before setting foot onto the cobblestone ground of your weekend hideout, away from civilization - a beautiful small castle in the outskirts of a quiet village. Shaking the feeling off, you enter the bedroom with a small smile, the feeling now wrapping around you like a blanket and unable to ignore any longer.
"Is something wrong?" Your fiancé asked curiously, having seen the little shiver of your body upon crossing the threshold.
"A déjà vu, I think," you answered nonchalantly - perhaps a long forgotten childhood memory, you thought to yourself right after, but you've never been this far from home.
“A Déjà-vu?” Your lover questioned with one of his thin brows raised before his hand reached out to take your bag from you. It wasn't like your bag was heavy, but he couldn't bear to let the love of his life, his soon to be wife, carry anything more than the grace she emitted in every step.
“You know, I took it from you on the way up here for a reason, I don't need a man to do these things for me.” Your voice sounded playful, but your words were sharp, a small reminder of how he will share the rest of his life with a woman who is in no need of a man to provide for her, seeing a partner as not much more than a fun addition to her life. Yet this is what he wanted, to serve you, to make you happy and help you fulfill the dreams ahead of you in no regards to his own. You were simply the center of his universe, his own sun that he was circulating around.
“I know, love, but am I not allowed to spoil you rotten?” He asked and a coy smile formed on his lips, lashes batting as if he’s trying to convince you, that yes, this is indeed necessary. A small chuckle bubbled past your lips and you shook your head in defeat.
“I won't complain about getting spoiled a little,” you admitted and the smile lingered on your lips when you looked around the beautiful room like a curious cat.
“Is that a tree?!” You heard your fiancé exclaim excited, yet confused from the bathroom before you followed him into the tiny space to see what exactly he meant.
“Yeah, I think it is,” you mumbled as you looked at the huge branch of a tree that grew into the sturdy walls and out again on the other side of the corner. It looked like some of the stones had been removed to make this all possible and it made you smile some more before you went back to the bedroom of your little weekend suite. Plopping down on the bed, your face scrunched up upon hearing the unpleasant squeak of the mattress and were reminded of the luxury of your own bed back at home.
A little flyer on the bedside table caught your attention when you moved your head to the side on the scratchy pillow. With a curious expression, you picked up the piece of paper and flipped it around to get a quick look at it before starting to read about what this little castle has to offer. It was a typical tourist information, letting you know about the sights nearby as well as on the castle grounds.
“A botanical garden,” your fiancé's voice startled you out of your trance-like state.
“Hm?” You raised one eyebrow and turned the piece of paper in your hand to see what he was looking at - pictures of a tiny greenhouse next to a small lake caught your attention.
“Botanical garden?” You snorted amused, the greenhouse was barely big enough to fit more than four people, perhaps, but the lake was what's interesting - the water seemed to be blood red.
Rising up into a sitting position, you handed the paper to your fiancé, your eyes urgent as they found his.
“We need to go there!” You say almost serious, but the excitement was evident, which made him chuckle.
“Calm down. It's most likely just some bacteria that caused it to look red,” he tried to reason, not seeing why you're suddenly so invested in nature's goods.
“And? I could swim in blood!” You retort amused as you got up from the bed, the old mattress squeaking once again.
“You shouldn't. If it's a bacteria causing this, you might get sick or god knows - even worse,” he immediately said in a serious tone, the urgency ringing in every word of his, but you could only roll your eyes.
“Calm down. I'm not gonna swim in some random lake anyways,” your words came out defeated and you sat back down onto the bed, almost pouting like a little child.
“We can still look at it and the great botanical garden,” he offered with a silly smirk, his fingers forming quotation marks when he talked about the botanical garden. You only rolled your eyes, feigning annoyance at his words, but nodded before pulling him down to join you on the squeaking bed, a laugh erupting from you when he only winced at the noise.
“Is this bed trying to tell us to lose weight or what's the deal?” He asked amused, the old springs almost poking his spine.
“Not entirely sure, but I'll be using you as my makeshift bed while we're here,” you mused and jabbed his chest with a single finger of yours.
“Poke me any harder and one of these springs might impale me,” your fiancé joked as he caught your finger right before another poke hit his defined chest.
The both of you stayed like this for a moment longer, eyes slowly tracing along the length of the thin veil of tulle that covered the bed like a canopy. It made you wonder if the ceiling might crumble down dust and small rocks whenever someone on the ground above was walking over it, but you quickly moved over to marvel at the details in the ceiling, cracks and ridges made you sink deeper into the daydream of what life here must have been like many decades ago.
“We should head out to the lake soon if you want to spend some time there before dinner,” your fiancé suggested as he slowly rose into a sitting position, elbows holding up his weight. It was his voice that pulled you out of a daydream, your brain buffering for a moment to fully comprehend his words before giving him the smallest of nods.
As you rose up from the old mattress, you could hear your back crunch in protest but paid no further attention to it when you held your hand out to your fiancé to help him stand up - not that he needed it, but it was just a kind gesture.
As he reached for your hand, he suddenly pulled you back down and on top of him, both of you erupting in a fit of laughter that seemed to bounce off the cold castle walls, making it even harder for you two to stop. It took a kiss to finally cease the seemingly endless fit of giggles, but as the kiss deepened, you forced yourself to pull away and shake your head.
Fuck, he looks so beautiful like this, you thought to yourself. His black hair against the white sheets like a black halo and his cheeks the softest shade of pink as his chest rose at a fastened pace. It was moments like these that took your breath away - just everyday, small domestic moments with him that had you topple over and fall in love all over again. It felt like a trance when you simply stared down at him, and he looked up at you with these dark puppy eyes as if you were the only star in his entire universe… but his lips were moving.
“What?” you asked confused, your vision slowly focusing back to reality and shifting out of your thoughts. You sounded so lost and almost dorky with the way your little what was half slurred, half squeaked. Your lover shook his head with a smile, a small chuckle breaking through.
“I asked if you trust me, my little daydreamer,” he mused and gently moved to hold both your hands as you still sat on top of him, playing around with them.
“Of course I do, why do you even have to ask?” You were almost hurt by that question, but he discarded it and pushed you off of him in a gentle, yet playful manner that had you bouncing and the bed squeaking. He didn't deem it necessary to explain anything as he rose to stand on top of the squeaky mattress, pulling you up with him.
“What are you doing?” You asked, having a hard time holding back a laugh when he started bouncing on the bed like a little child, holding onto your hands in hopes it would animate you to join him in his shenanigans - and it did.
Both of you were giggling and bouncing on the bed to make it squeak when he suddenly started moaning obnoxiously loud and far too pretentious, but you couldn't help but join in. It felt good to just fool around like this, swearing to yourself that yes, you're an adult in this moment, but once you two were out of breath, he helped you get off the bed and made sure you were steady and standing properly before letting go of your hands.
“What was that for?” you asked amused as you still tried your best to catch your breath.
“People should know that we're here on our pre-honeymoon, don't you think?” He asked with a boyish grin and gently combed his fingers through his shoulder length hair in an effort to detangle it from your previous activities. An overly exaggerated gasp left you and you gently hit his chest.
“Hand holding and eye contact before our marriage? Scandalous!” You exclaimed in amusement and shook your head in disbelief as both of you moved to get dressed to go outside into the crisp fall air. Just as you left, one of the maids walked past you, unable to look any of you in the eyes as she blushed and giggled. You didn't want to know what exactly she was thinking, given your pretentious little show just mere minutes ago. It left you feeling a little guilty and you too could feel the heat creeping up your neck as your lover only smiled proudly at the poor elderly lady.
“I don't even want to know what she was thinking,” you mumble on your way out of the small castle as you hold onto the biceps of your lover, hiding your face in his arm for a second or two in a shy manner.
“Probably that we're two young lovers who enjoy love and showing it to each other on a rather… physical level,” he explained with a grin, trying to sound nonchalant.
“You can just say - she was thinking that we just fucked - you know?” You retorted with a small jab to his ribs to make him laugh, which he did.
“But I would never simply fuck you. You deserve to be worshipped and made love to. Fucking is for wild animals,” he reflected and leaned into you so he could kiss your temple as you two slowly walked on the cobblestoned path away from the castle and towards the small, private forest area. You shouldn't think too much about his words, but it made you feel a certain way, the heat rising up inside of you as you thought back to all the times you were intimate with each other. He indeed never simply fucked you, he always made sure to put you before him and to make you feel valued, loved and well taken care of.
The path to the little greenhouse, or what they lovingly called it, the “botanical garden” was rather short and uneventful, cobblestones slowly turning into gravel until it was nothing but a mix of a few stray stones and packed mud.
“M'lady,” he exclaimed jokingly as he held open the glass door of the greenhouse so you may enter first. You smiled at him and gave him your best curtsy before ducking under his arm to enter the cramped space.
“Such a gentleman,” you teased him when he entered right after you, the air so moist it hit you like a wall. Both of you had to look around the colorful variety of flowers, herbs and greenery before actually walking around in the rather small space. As you marveled at the beautiful vines hanging down from the ceiling to your right, you were suddenly startled by a gasp and whipped your head around, clutching your chest in shock.
“I can't believe they have Kadupul flowers here!” Your lover exclaimed excitedly as he pointed at what looked to you like a bush of wavy, green leaves, which left you more confused than before.
“Kadu what flowers? It's just leaves?” You ask as you carefully walk over to where he was standing to get a closer look at the bush of leaves; perhaps the flowers were just so small you couldn't see them from five steps away. Yet, when you closed the small distance, there were still no flowers to be seen and you gave your fiancé a quizzical look, so he got his phone out.
“Kadupul flowers, Epiphyllum oxypetalum, also called Queen of the night,” he explained and showed you pictures of a beautiful white flower. The thin, white petals surrounding bigger petals that looked like they were forming a star in the middle looked quite dramatic but enchantingly beautiful to you. It made you take another look at the green bush in front of you.
“It's not in bloom right now. Actually, it's rare to ever witness the flower bloom,” he explained and marveled at the plant a while longer like a boy in a candy store.
“It only blooms at night and withers at dawn when the first rays of sunshine hit it,” he then continued and turned away from the plant with a heavy sigh that sounded more like he just went through heartbreak. Of course a flower this beautiful had such a dramatic blooming story, you thought to yourself and went to hold his hand, squeezing it a little.
“Maybe we could get one, then you can witness it in bloom,” you try to cheer him up with a small smile, but he only shook his head in return.
“It's one of the most expensive flowers to exist, it's almost priceless,” he mumbled and the sad look in his eyes signaled that he doesn't want to ponder on it much longer, so you let the topic go and slowly led him out of the possibly tiniest botanical garden you'll ever see.
“Let's go to the blood lake!” You quipped and dragged him towards where you assumed it would be, but he ripped his arm out of your grasp.
“Actually… it's that way,” he retorted and you simply stomped back and past him, grabbing his arm once again to drag him along, but in the right direction this time. After what seemed like an eternity due to your excitement, you finally arrived at a beautiful clearing. The grass was luscious with small daisies and clovers growing all over the clearing, and a small stone bench was perched up right next to the lake as well - it made you wonder if someone used to sit here and ponder over the world and what it had to offer.
“The statues look eerie,” your lover's voice ripped you out of your thoughts yet again and upon looking at the two statues at each side of the slim lakebed, you agreed to his conclusion.
Two huge gargoyle statues stood there, looking at each other as if they're making sure that those who dare to come close to, or go into the lake know that they're being watched.
“I feel a little bad… Who knows how long they've spent their days unloved and forgotten about?” You wonder out loud as you take a closer look at one of the two moss covered stone statues, your nose scrunching up at the amount of bird poop you discover once you were closer.
“You talk like these are graves… It's just statues, and I figure cleaning them in a forest isn't going to last long,” your fiancé tried to speak some sense into you, but you couldn't help the pang of guilt creeping up your heart. It simply felt wrong to see them neglected like this and you almost took offense to it. But he was right, you shouldn't get upset about these little things when you could instead bask in the beauty of the blood red lake right in front of you. The pictures truly weren't lying, the water looked dark red, as if hundreds of people had given their lives just to fill this pool for two bloodthirsty gargoyles.
“Do you think the gargoyles bled out humans to make the water look this red?” You turned around with a grin on your face as if you were telling a scary story at a campfire, which made the black haired man shake his head and laugh at your childish antics.
“I believe so, yes. Maybe you'll find their bones if you dive deep enough,” he mused back at you, encouraging your little storytelling, which made you gasp and giggle.
“I really want to look for them… but I'd probably end up as one of them. Who knows what bacteria lives in there,” you laughed softly and waved your hand in front of your face in a disgusted manner to get the air to freshen up. The water smelled horrendous, pungent and almost rotten - which only worked in favor of your little story. But as the old lanterns slowly flickered on, illuminating the gargoyles in a menacing glow that made you shiver, you decided it was time to head back inside, it was dinner time after all.
When you finally arrived at the dining hall of the little castle, you only ordered a small dish for yourself, the feeling of hunger ceasing more with every passing minute, a weird feeling of sadness spread inside of you and chased away any other feeling. It was a slow process, but you could feel it deep inside you like a small tree growing bigger and bigger - the seed of sadness was planted and should ruin your first evening here.
“Are you feeling sick?” Your fiancé asked concerned when you were only eating like a bird, picking around in your food and taking the smallest bites possible.
Not wanting to ruin his evening with the weird feeling that appeared out of nowhere, you simply nodded.
“I think it's the smell of that lake, my stomach feels funny,” you lie convincingly as you gently shove your plate across the table and towards him. Barely any food was missing and you gave him a sad smile.
“I'll excuse myself and go up already, yes? You asked and didn't wait for an answer before you rose to your feet and kissed his temple before almost speedwalking out of the dining hall and into your room, where you brushed your teeth and took a shower in hopes of shaking this feeling off.
The water was almost boiling hot, yet not hot enough as you aggressively lathered the soap on your body with the fresh loofah the hotel provided. Get clean. Get rid of this feeling. The urge to step outside of your skin grew as the water slowly lost its temperature, causing a string of curses to leave your lips while you shut it off entirely. Disgust, pain and homesickness. You were able to name the emotions blooming inside of you, which no longer felt like a seed, more like vines growing over your rib cage and making it harder to breathe every time your lungs let go of oxygen.
By the time you left the bathroom, your fiancé was back in the room and sat on the bed, a cloud of steam leaving the bathroom with you.
“You really don't look too well. Come here,” he offered lovingly and patted the mattress right next to where he sat.
“I'll play with your hair until you fall asleep, how does that sound?” He asked and sat further up on the bed so he could rest his back against the headboard while you got comfortable next to him, your head resting on his lap.
A small “thank you” left your lips when you wrapped one arm around his waist, holding onto his soft sweater as if he'd disappear any moment. With a sigh you finally closed your eyes, allowing yourself to rest with the hope of waking up in the morning and this weird feeling disappearing magically overnight.
However, waking up wasn't as peaceful as you hoped, suddenly raising yourself into a sitting position with a gasp of pure shock. Your heart was beating like a war drum, your ears blocking out almost all the noise except for the steady thumping of our heartbeat, your vision pulsating with every beat. The adrenaline fueled your body as memories of your restless dream appeared, the gargoyles watching your every move, and even now you couldn't shake this feeling.
Shaking hands reached for your lover, who fell asleep in his sitting position, but no amount of shaking got him to wake up, light snores assuring you that he is alive but sleeping far too deeply to help you calm down.
“Get a damn grip on yourself,” you mumbled more to yourself than anything else as you pulled his soft sweater over your head. The smell was intoxicating and grounded you, drowning you in the feeling of safety and home, but you needed to clear your head from the nightmare that woke you up.
You weren't even thinking as your feet walked you outside, no path in mind, perhaps rounding the tiny castle once or twice to let the cool air deep into your system to clear your mind from all these horrid images flooding your brain from the previous dream.
“What? Who's there?” You were scared when you heard your name getting called, hoping it was your lover who woke up in your absence and went looking for you, but you found absolutely no one.
The feeling of paranoia wouldn't shake, feeling like someone is watching over your shoulder and there it was again - your name. It sounded like someone was longing for you, needing you to come help them, to save them from whatever misery they felt. Bare feet now padded over the cobblestone path and then the gravel, which slowly turned to a muddy path as your speed picked up. Were you running towards the voice or away from it? You weren't sure since it sounded like it came from everywhere at once, its desperation growing with each call.
You didn't feel real in the moment, your body as light as a feather, yet your head seemed to weigh a hundred pounds when your heart beat drowned out everything - everything but that damn call of your name, which now turned into a luring whisper, one that dragged you closer and closer. It wasn't fear coursing through you, it felt hot instead, like you were getting closer to something you longed for ever since you remembered and your body seemed to move out of muscle memory, following a path you've walked a thousand times.
Wet. Was it the grass that felt cold against your feet, or was the morning dew kissing your skin? It couldn't be. It didn't make sense that the feeling spread through your body as if the sky decided to pour over you, drenching you to your bones in ice cold water… until breathing became harder, the feeling of vines growing over your rib cage returned once again, but this time the oxygen was leaving your lungs with no way of returning there.
It was water that replaced the air in your lungs with each breath and your vision unblurred, seeing seaweed sway gently next to your body, a single skull to your right on the sandy ground…
“I was right about the lake… There are bodies on the ground." Your thought almost amused you, feeling no threat despite your vision turning black when all oxygen disappeared from your lungs…
“What do we have here?” Your eyes fluttered open when you heard a familiar voice, yet it sounded foreign.
The full moon was bright, your eyes slowly looking at the man who held you at arm's length, a death grip on both your upper arms as he looked at you with hunger.
“Don't you know that swimming at night can be quite dangerous? Just floating in my lake,” he mused and his eyes raked over your body.
In the state of confusion, you didn't even notice how miserable you must have looked, your clothes soaked thoroughly with pungent lake water, yet he looked like he was about to take a bite out of you should you move too fast.
“Your lake?” you asked with a meek voice, croaking the words out, which amused him.
“Silly little girl, you don't even know what danger you put yourself in… I give you one chance to run,” he mused and let go of your arms, which only toppled you over.
The dew of the grass felt almost warm compared to the clothes you were wearing while you sat on the ground after falling so graciously onto your ass, trying to understand his words. The stranger spoke your language, but it felt like he was speaking an alien language. Run from what? I have a room in the castle just a few walking minutes from here. Your brain was racing through many scenarios in a split second until the sense of danger caught up to your tired brain. This man wasn't joking, he will hurt you. RUN!
Your legs felt like jelly, the effects of almost drowning you thought as you ran as fast as these unsteady legs would carry you. “HELP!” you screamed from the top of your lungs despite your throat straining, hoping someone would hear you and help you, but when you looked back to where the man stood, he was gone.
*Thump!* You got knocked back onto the ground after colliding with what you thought was a tree until you looked up, the fear spreading through every fiber upon gazing at this eerie smile.
“Got you,” the man hummed and pulled you back to your feet, causing you to freeze, paralyzing you entirely as you braced for whatever was about to happen.
He only chuckled as he moved one hand into your hair to grab a fist full, yanking your head to the side with force that felt like he was about to break your neck.
“Has no one told you that it's not safe out in the woods for pretty little women like you?” His voice was smooth like honey as he leaned in, his breath fanning over the skin of your neck, and he inhaled your scent.
His pupils dilated when your scent hit his nostrils, it was familiar, something he knew from a long time ago, so he hesitated. Sharp fangs rested on your skin instead of piercing it to drain you from your life essence.
With your eyes shut tight, you balled your hands into fists, mentally preparing yourself to get bitten by what you assumed to be either a weird pervert or a cannibal - nothing good either way, but that stinging feeling never came. Instead, his looming presence disappeared and once you opened your eyes, the sight was almost comical, if the situation wouldn't have been this dangerous.
A blonde man, much taller than the creep who wanted to take a bite out of you, held him by the neck like a soggy kitten before the blonde man threw him against a tree, causing the tree to fall over…what? You were perplexed upon seeing the other man stand up like he didn't just get thrown against a tree so hard, the huge tree trunk snapped.
“What are you waiting for? Run!” The blonde man called out to you quite angrily, snapping you out of the shell shock, but your legs barely carried you, letting you stumble away from the scene…

You want angst. I got you one. #13. with Gin and Rangiku. Boom.
“You could’ve- could’ve stayed. You could’ve helped me fix things.” with Rangiku and Gin
Warnings: gin x rangiku, angst, spoilers for bleach, death Taglist: @pixelcafe-network, @actuallysaiyan, @sweet-chocolate-sweet Angst Prompts
Rangiku cried quietly. Her long, strawberry-blonde hair fell over her shoulder as she kneeled beside Gin. His hand was clutched weakly in hers, having already started to grow colder. She hoped that by warming him, she could cling to his life longer. Although their paths had diverged long ago, she couldn't imagine living without him. Her heart always longed to walk by his side, and even when he betrayed the Soul Society to follow Aizen, she'd hoped that eventually, her time would come.
“Why did you do this, Gin?” she cried softly.
“F-for you,” he whispered.
“Don’t give me that shit,” she scoffed, but felt guilty for doing so. She placed his hand on her cheek, “I never wanted this.”
As she kneeled beside him, knowing his life was fading away and there was nothing she could do to stop it, she wanted to tell him how much she loved him. How deeply she’d missed him for so long, how she spent years chasing him only for him to run somewhere she couldn’t follow. Once more he’s running somewhere she can’t follow. But what’s the use in confessing to a dead man? Gin was never one for sentimental words. She was never even sure if they were all that close or if she'd imagined it in her head at times.
“What would you have me do, Rangiku?” he asked, his voice growing weaker with every word. He was genuine in his curiosity.
“You could’ve—” She cried harder, shaking from the force of her sobs. She feels his fingers slip from her grasp. “—could’ve stayed. You could’ve helped me fix things.”
"As long as you never have to cry again, then there's nothing to fix," he whispered. "Let me be the final thing you shed tears over."

Playlist: The Snowball Effect
December 12
Natsuo’s soft, fluffy hair rests against your chest as the family settles in for Christmas movies. The weekend is prime time for movie magic, and since it’s the holiday season everyone is ecstatic to find their favorite classic to add to the queue.
Fuyumi’s favorite currently glows on the television screen.
“Then he had an idea. An awful idea. The Grinch got a wonderful, awful idea!” The Grinch’s lips curl up into a signature, devilish grin.
“Mommy, why does the Grinch want to steal Christmas?” Shoto asks from the floor.
“Because he’s sad, and he thinks if he can make everyone else sad, it’ll make him feel better.” You respond, running your fingers through Natsuo’s hair. A soft snore rattles in his chest and makes you realize he’s fallen asleep.
“Why does he think that?”
“Because he’s a villain.” Enji says.
“Because some people grow up and bad things happen to them, so they only know how to treat people the same way they were treated.” You tack on, offering a different perspective. “Keep watching the movie. See what the Grinch learns at the end.”
For the next few minutes, you listen to Toya and Tenko griping to each other under their breath about how lame the cartoon version is compared to the humor of the live action. Fuyumi keeps hissing at them to shut up.
“You’re a mean one…Mr. Grinch.” You whisper-sing to Enji when the song sings through the speakers. “You really are a heel!”
“Are you insinuating that I’m a Grinch? After funding your Christmas decoration fever?” Enji chuckles, leaning over to rub a large hand over little Natsuo’s back. “Why don’t you go put him to bed?”
“I’ll wait a little bit. I’m enjoying the cuddles.” You admit, kissing the top of your little boy’s forehead. “It won’t be long before he’s as old as Tenko and doesn’t want snuggles with Mama anymore.”
“It’s hard to believe he’ll be ten in a few months.” Enji sighs.
“I’ll be fifteen in a month!” Toya offers with a grin.
“Don’t remind me.” Enji bemoans. “How did they grow up so fast?”
“I told you not to blink.” You snort a laugh. “If you do it again, they’ll all be getting married.”
“Ew! No way.” Tenko crinkles his nose. “Girls are gross.”
“You’re just saying that because you still think cooties are real.” Toya sneers, sticking his tongue out at his brother. “How do you think Mom and Dad had us? They had to be married first or we wouldn’t be here.”
“Guuuyysss!” Fuyumi whines.
You purposefully rewind the movie back a few minutes.
“Mom!” The older boys whine.
“Don’t you Mom me. If you’re going to interrupt your sister’s movie you either let me rewind so she can hear it, or I’ll pick a random place in the movies you want to watch and skip five minutes of it.” You warn.
“...fine.” They both grumble.
By the time the Grinch is over, Shoto has relocated to rest against your legs and breathes deeply as he’s the next to succumb to sleep. While Enji readies Toya’s favorite movie next, you rearrange the two younger boys until they’re each situated on a shoulder so you can put them in bed.
“How did you and Mommy have us, Dad?” Tenko asks.
And that’s your cue to leave.
Day 13 (Tune in tomorrow!)

Major thank you to @actuallysaiyan and @villainsrtasty for the beta-read. <3
It’s December and you’re currently living in Karakura Town in Japan. This is your first time travelling far away from your family and friends. It felt like a sense of responsibility on your part to travel far away. From overseas, you’ve been hearing about people seeing strange figures. The investigative journalist within you thought it was farfetched that people could be seeing things. Curiosity piqued and you had to go and see this for yourself. The choice was spontaneous, despite acknowledging that you would miss out on the holiday season and your traditions; Matching pyjamas and Christmas movies are your comfort and your home, but for now, there are more pressing matters to address.
You took your time to become familiar with the locals of Karakura Town. You felt that you needed to ask if they had seen anything out of the ordinary, but most of them just either shrugged at you or gave you a glaring look before walking away. However, this did not deter you. You would do this daily from morning until nightfall. At the end of your day, you would stop by Mr. Urahara’s shop and grab a snack before heading back to your place. He always gave you a polite smile and made small talk with you.
“Did anybody talk to you today?” he would ask politely and hide his smile with his fan.
“No, they just look at me like I’m crazy, and then walk away. Can’t force people to talk to me if they don’t want” you said with exhaustion in your voice.
“If not today, maybe tomorrow!” he exclaimed.
“Thanks, Mr. Urahara” you responded with a small smile.
You acquired an apartment near the shop. You often had ramen, your snacks, and a Ramune. Occasionally, you’d have a few beers, but you try to avoid it to not make it a habit. The ache to know never stops; you don’t cease doing the research at home. You had a map layout of the places where the occurrences transpired. You would mark an “x” where you made an effort to talk to the locals in that area. You’re yet to go to two more areas to explore; nearby the clinic and the local high school. You prepare to go to bed and close your eyes tightly as you tell yourself, “I wish this is all real and I’m not just chasing a phantom.”
Morning arrives and with haste, you prepare a cup of coffee before heading out to start your day. Unbeknownst to you, Mr. Urahara watches you walk whenever you pass by and covers his face with his fan; he knows something, but it is not his place to get involved with the matters that you’re seeking answers to. He knows that when the time arrives, he will step in place to help you or anyone else who requires his help.
You walk towards the high school. You attain permission to enter campus and walk around the field. You observe students exercising on this brisk morning. You take out your notebook and write down what allegedly transpired in this field. As you’re about to assume it’s another dead end, you hear students screaming. This alarms you and you wonder where the danger is. You stop one student and ask them if they’re okay. All you see is fear in their face; they look and point in the opposite direction.
“Can’t you see it?!” they say as their teeth jitter and their entire body shakes before running away.
You start to walk in that direction and overhear students asking.
“What’s wrong with them? There’s nothing there!”, they laugh.
The joke is on them because suddenly one student is lifted mid-air and is seen to disappear. To your horror, you see a faint figure. It’s not very clear, but you see there’s something that is not of this world. Although, this time, you’re paralyzed. You want to scream and run as you see this monster, but you can’t. The monster begins to approach you and you can’t move. “Is this the end?” you thought.
Just as you thought the end was near, eyes clenched and with shallow breaths, you hear a loud crash. As you slowly open your eyes, you see a tall man with orange, spiky hair. He holds a large blade as he strikes the monster on its shoulder. There is blood spraying, but you can’t manage to move. Suddenly, you feel a tug on your arm.
“We have to go, MOVE!” commands the other stranger. It’s a short woman with a short black hair. Although small, she is strong and you feel her strength as she yanks out of harm’s way. You notice that she has a katana, but hasn’t drawn it yet. One thing you observe about both these individuals is that they’re wearing black robes and traditional footwear. You are curious if this is usual in Japan, or what their role is right now. You turn to look and the one with the orange hair strikes the monster head-on. Within a moment, the monster is obliterated and suddenly you see a human with chains. “Thank you,” says the stranger out loud and you observe them slowly disappearing. Having witnessed a lot, your vision goes black. “Hey! Stay with me!” you hear through an echo.
You awaken and notice that you’re on the ground, resting on someone’s lap. It’s the same woman who pulled you away from the danger. You observe the other person who obliterated the monster earlier standing over you; his demeanour is serious, but clearly, he must care about your well-being if he remains there. You slowly get up and have a lot of questions.
“Take it easy, are you alright?” he asks.
“Yeah, I’m not sure if I just fainted or was dreaming”, you feel as if you had the wildest fever dream.
“About that…”, says the woman. “What do you remember right now?”
“I saw a monster, then I saw a human in chains, then they were just…gone?” you respond, but you feel crazy as you say this out loud. The two looking over you don’t try to deny what you saw.
“That wasn’t a monster…it’s called a hollow. The hollow was once a lost human soul, and now they’re finally at peace.”
“What? I don’t understand,” you state with a grim face.
“That’s alright, it is a lot to take in at the moment. You technically aren’t supposed to see hollows, but you’re okay.” says the woman. “Allow us to introduce ourselves, I’m Rukia, and this is Ichigo. We’re soul reapers and we’re in charge of making sure souls can leave this place in peace.”
“This place being…Earth?” you inquire.
“Yes. Whenever a human is left to roam after passing, they remain here because they haven’t been able to find peace. Over time they can become hollows, so we just assist them in finding that.” Rukia says gently.
You scramble to find your notebook, but then you feel a grip on your wrist. “It would be best if you keep this information to yourself…it’s not meant to be common information for humans to know about this.” Rukia continues.
Disappointment lingers as you are piecing together why humans disappear and what people have been able to see; they are like ghosts, but now it feels like a secret that you could never reveal to others. “What are you doing in Japan? Was this a crazy idea?” You thought to yourself. As you sit in the ground contemplating you notice a shift in their demeanour.
Rukia is looking with a look of shock and Ichigo is glaring.
“B..brother…what are you doing here?” Rukia asks, and then you look in the direction where she’s looking at.
You see possibly the most beautiful man you’ve ever seen. His long, dark hair was a feature that stood out, but also his facial features were wonderful to look at. However, his stern face signalled to you that he currently isn’t here for any nonsense.
“Let’s go, Rukia, you have no reason to be amongst these…humans.”
Suddenly, you’re filled with defiance. You stand up and get in front of Rukia. There was something that encouraged you to not be afraid of this person.
“With all due respect, she saved my life, and this human you refer to would be dead if it weren’t for her. So leave her alone,” you spoke with calm ferocity.
He was confused that someone would ever speak to him in such a manner. He felt that he couldn’t relent to anyone who disrespected him, but he had an appearance to maintain.
“Who do you think you are?” he asked you with poison in his tone.
You tell him your name, refusing to be intimidated by him, even though he is distracting to look at.
“As nice it is to meet you, I need to make sure that my sister is safe and comes home with me. I don’t have time for formalities”
“Yeah, and what if she doesn’t want to go home with you, Byakuya?” Ichigo speaks up.
“Do you want to do something about it? I don’t think you can substitute Soul Reaper,” Byakua shoots back.
Rukia noticing the tension mount, steps in front of you. “Stop it, I’ll go along with you…” Rukia yields.
“No, you’re not. You don’t have to go with him if you don’t want to,” you interject.
Then you get a brilliant idea. “What if he stays here?” you say loudly, pointing to Byakuya.
“Here?! Amongst us?!” Ichigo responds with shock on his face.
“Look, I don’t know what’s going on, but if he wants to protect her so badly, he could just stick around.” you persist.
“No way!” Ichigo shouts. “There’s no room in my…” he stops. He realizes that he can’t state where Rukia is currently staying at his house. “It’s getting pretty crowded, and I don’t have time to host anyone else.” Ichigo scoffs.
“Well, I have room in my place, but it’s rather small…” you quietly say.
“Then it’s settled, I’ll stay with the human,” Byakuya states.
“Brother…you don’t have to stay here,” Rukia responds.
“I need to know what you’re doing here amongst the humans…that’s if you’re doing anything at all. My job is to protect you, no matter what.” Byakuya asserts.
“Alright, so it’s settled. Rukia will stay with me, and HE can stay with her.” Ichigo declares.
You look at Rukia with uncertainty, but she nods to you as if she’s saying thank you for standing up to her. You have no idea what you just accepted right now, but you figured talking to a new person couldn’t hurt anyone…right?
Before everyone left you asked out loud, “Can anyone possibly help me out with helping him appear more…normal?”
Byakuya remained with a straight face, but internally, he felt embarrassed that a human was referring to his appearance as not normal. “Excuse me?” he asks. “I’ll have you know that I’m a Captain of the 13 Court Guard Squads.”
“While that sounds important, your sister informed me that the less I know, the better. Right now, unless you don’t want me to write about you, you need to stop talking,” you say firmly.
For once, he is astounded by the tone someone speaks to him. Aside from the disrespect he feels from you, he is also impressed that anyone can utter anything to him in a way where they don’t defer to him. He is not a God in your eyes, but you will not allow anyone to push you or anyone else around. He gazes at you and there’s a light blush on his cheeks, but he sighs accepting that he must resign. If he must be within his sister’s reach and stop causing chaos in the World of the Living, he must stay with this stranger.
“Alright. Ichigo Kurosaki, is there a way that I can maintain appearances here in the World of the Living.”
“Me?! How am I supposed to help you?” responds Ichigo.
Within moments, Rukia hits Ichigo in the back of the head, for the blatant disrespect that he just displayed to her brother. “Oh brother, it’s no trouble at all! I’m sure Ichigo can be of great help here!” with a cheerful tone when addressing her brother.
“Tch, fine, I’ll help. In the meantime,” Ichigo is looking in your direction, “you should come with us. Then he can go home with you or whatever…”
Realizing what you’ve signed up for, your face is bright red as you look in Byakuya’s direction. He observes the way you’re looking at home, and his face is flushed.
“Brother…is everything okay?” Rukia asks, concerned.
Byakuya clears his throat. “I’m fine.”
“Let’s get going, it looks weird that we’re all standing around here in this empty field,” Ichigo states.
As the four of you walk to leave the field, it’s silent. There is no small talk. Ichigo and Rukia are walking ahead of you. You look to your side and observe Byakuya. He is quiet and walks with a sense of purpose. However, you’re curious about what he could be thinking about. “Does he want to talk to me at all?”, you thought.
He did have a lot of thoughts. The quiet and reserved captain did have a lot on his mind. He worries about his younger sister. He thinks about seeing you in the World of the Living. To his surprise, he wasn’t expecting to meet someone from this world to stand out to him. He takes notice that you’re quiet but also outspoken. “What other thoughts or ideas lurk within you?”, he thought. Regretfully, he didn’t bother to ask you anything on this walk towards Ichigo’s house.
The walk remained silent and no one dared to say anything to break the tension. You get to Ichigo’s house and notice that this is the local clinic you often see when you’re walking around Karakura Town. it never stood out to you in any way, let alone that someone who calls themselves a Soul Repear would be living here.
As you enter the home you are greeted by Ichigo’s sisters. While they gave him the third degree and questioned why they brought so many guests, Yuzu, relents and offers you dinner. As they’re about to deny the gesture, your stomach grumbles loudly. Everyone turns around to look at you. You’re glowing from embarrassment, but Yuzu just happily serves you a plate of katsu curry with some rice. She tends to overcook for everyone and she immediately gestures to everyone to go sit at the dinner table.
Taking a bite of the warm meal, you feel a comfort in your stomach. It’s been so long since you had a proper meal that wasn’t just ramen noodles, coffee, energy drinks, or beer. There is a disappointment that lingers in the air as you cannot continue your investigation of what you thought would be a groundbreaking story. Byakuya chose to sit next to you, he looks at his meal curiously but does attempt to make a dent to not be impolite to his hosts.
You make a calculated effort to make small talk with this handsome person as he’ll be staying with you very soon. “Have you never had this type of food before?” you say quietly.
He looks over at you and acknowledges the effort that you’re placing. He remains stoic, “I can’t say I’ve had a meal like this, but I can say that I am enjoying it the best I can”, he answers coldly.
“I’m not from here actually, but I do find this meal comforting,” you say to him as you take another small bite.
“Oh? Are you not from the World of the Living?” with curiosity in his tone.
“I’m not from Karakura Town at all, or even this whole country. I hail from a different part of the world,” you share with him.
“Interesting. What brought you here?” he asks you. He is eager to know more about you. He is known within his circles to not make small talk, but you’re like a mystery waiting to be known.
“I wanted, no…I needed to hear about the hollows, as you call them. People have disappeared and I wanted to know more. However, I feel like it might not be safe to talk about it…”
“You’re correct. Humans shouldn’t know too much about hollows or the supernatural events that they witness. It would create chaos in the World of the Living, and it would make matters more challenging for us in the Soul Society.”
“Oh? The Soul Society?”
“Yes, that’s where I reside. It’s where spirits go when they pass on. I’m a captain, and I must protect the Soul Society, but also the World of the Living.”
“Am I an anomaly for being able to see hollows?”
“Not necessarily. It just means that you’re just able to see spirits and hollows alike. You would just have to be careful if you encounter a hollow.”
You reflect somberly. You realize that you did get lucky today that someone was there to save you from immediate harm, but you’re not sure if there will be a next time. Byakuya senses a shift, so he realizes he needs to make an effort to change the subject.
“Do you like sakura blossoms?” he asks you in a gentle tone.
The question catches you off guard, but there’s a warmth that you feel in thinking about this question. “I do, they’re one of my favourite flowers. I’d like to see them bloom in person someday”, you respond with a small smile on your face.
“Blossoms don’t typically bloom at this time of the year, but I might have something to show you a little later if that’s alright with you.” Byakuya shares with a small smile on his.
“Brother, is everything okay?” Rukia asks. She observed that you’re smiling for the first time in so long.
“I’m fine. Thank you.” He clears his throat.
The silence lingers again. Ichigo signals Byakuya to follow him upstairs. Karin and Yuzu take care of clearing the plates and signalling to you and Rukia that you are their guests. Rukia knows that they have a lot of questions about you, but she knows that she’s welcome in the Kurasaki household.
“So, what do you think of my brother?” Rukia asks nonchalantly.
“Oh, excuse me?” you choke on your sip of water.
“My brother isn’t one to make a lot of small talk. The fact that he made a genuine effort to talk to you might mean something. Don’t hesitate to take a chance if you feel happy right now.” Rukia says warmly.
The words ring in your mind. You accept that something is intriguing about Byakuya, but you’re unsure if he would ever want to be involved with a human. There’s a distance between you two. You are attracted to him, but you have no idea if you have a shot with him.
“I promise, he isn’t like this with anyone. Even with me, he doesn’t say a lot.” Rukia reassures you.
You sit there and contemplate the weight of her words, and he appears in your peripheral. The first thing that appears is a slight giggle from Rukia, who is struggling to hold in her laugh. Ichigo standing right behind him is also stifling his laughter.
“What’s so amusing?” Byakuya asks. When you’re able to take a good look, you’re the first to burst out into laughter. He appears to be wearing a Hawaiian-style shirt, khakis, and a blazer. He is still wearing the scarf around his neck, as he refuses to remove it. However, he did remove his hairpieces from his hair and decided to put his hair up in a bun.
“It doesn’t look bad…not that you look bad, it’s just different right now,” you respond with a small smile on your face. Your face feels hot in the moment and the room feels like it can suffocate you.
“Would you change anything?” he asks concernedly.
“I don’t think I can…I think you look great just the way you are.” you resign.
He takes notice of your gaze. His face turns slightly pink, but he tries to remain unphased and clears his throat.
You take note of the time and realize that it has been a long. You take a look at Byakuya. “Shall we get going?”
“Yes…thank you again Ichigo Kurosaki. This…will do.” he says as he looks at Ichigo’s direction.
“Take care, brother. I’ll see you tomorrow.” Rukia says quietly.
You take your leave and begin to walk outside the quiet streets. The streetlamps are and you feel a cool breeze between the both of you. You’re looking at him, but he doesn’t seem to say a lot. You’re unsure what you could say to him to break this silence.
“Do you often come into the…World of the Living?” you ask.
“No. I’ve been here on many occasions. The first time that I stepped foot here was to retrieve Rukia, and…well, that was eventually a misunderstanding. Ichigo Kuraski was a great help in…helping me see the error of my ways.” he states.
“Oh…I thought initially you had come here because of the holidays.”
“Well, if you mean Christmas, the Soul Society doesn’t necessarily celebrate it.”
“Oh.”
He notices that this conversation just ended, so he quietly thinks for a moment before saying something else.
“Do you…celebrate Christmas?”
“I do…but I won’t be able to see my family.”
“Why is that?”
“I came here for work, but now I have to get creative and find a different story. I can’t write about you or the hollows,” you state solemnly.
“No, but maybe…we could bend the truth a little.”
“How so?”
“I’m not in the habit of lying, but I’m sure there’s a way that you could talk about these…incidents without revealing who or what the Soul Society is.”
“I’m not supposed to lie, I’m a journalist,” you respond bluntly.
“I’m not telling you to lie. I’m simply telling you to bend the truth a little.”
“I’m not sure how to go about that. It’s still lying.”
“No, it’s not. You’re not understanding me…” he states with frustration in his tone.
“I can’t stand you sometimes,” you mutter quietly.
“Excuse me?” he challenges you.
Suddenly, there’s a shift. Byakuya senses an extreme amount of spiritual pressure coming out of nowhere. The air feels strange and it feels like you can’t move suddenly. You want to run away, but you can’t; he observes your inability and grabs you to get you as far away from the danger. You don’t realize that he moved you in an instant and suddenly you aren’t where you previously were walking.
“Stay here”, he commands. He quickly disappears and faces the danger.
He kept his zanpakto on him, exposed. He knew that there was always a possibility of danger, but it seemed that something attracted into the vicinity; it was you. He knows that’s a conversation that he’ll have to have later with you, but for now, he will address this problem. To his horror, he sees 6 hollows at the same time. There, is one hollow that is ferocious and hungry, complicating this matter. As the hungry one consumes and devours the weaker hollows, it turns into a Gillan, Menos Grande.
It’s not a problem that he cannot deal with, but he became concerned with you. He needs to hurry before they take notice of you. He quietly says “scatter”. His zanpakto breaks into little tiny blades. He concentrates on his opponent and attempts to destroy the Menos Grande. The little tiny blades do not even scratch the surface. You witness from a distance how calm Byakuya remains, but you’re afraid. There’s a loud screech and you are deafened by it. The Menos Grande does not take the attack well. You observe how angry it is and suddenly it opens its mouth. You’re panicked at how it directs the attack towards Byakuya.
Before the Menos Grade can attack with its Cero, Byakuya remaining calm says “bankai”. Within seconds before the ball of energy can be gathered, you observe a beautiful display of cherry blossoms. You watch how these beautiful blossoms are deadly. This beast never stood a chance as it became dissipated in an instant.
“Is this what he wanted to show me earlier?” you thought to yourself.
In moments, he comes back to your side. “Are you alright?”
“I am, but what’s going on? This is the second time this has happened today.” There are little tears flickering in your eyes. Without hesitation, Byakuya holds your hand for comfort. You look at him with the tears in your eyes.
“Why?” you quietly ask.
“I know this probably was a lot for you today. I’m going to make sure that you’re safe. It’s my duty to protect all humans.” his hand grips yours just a little tighter; a confirmation of a promise on his behalf that he will not let anything or anyone hurt you.
“Thank you. I don’t want to burden you though.”
“You’re not.” There’s a short pause. “I want to protect you.”
“Even if I’m a human?” you ask.
He has a light chuckle. “I’m supposed to protect humans too. I’m saying…” with a short pause “that I’ll make sure you don’t get hurt.”
You're speechless; you remain quiet as you are walking back to your apartment. You’re not sure how you feel about the gesture, but you remember what you meant to ask him.
“Did you want to show me your attack earlier?”
“Yes and no. In the case of earlier, those blossoms are part of my special attack. I could show you a display of blossoms…without hurting you.”
“Why?”
“After the horrors you saw today, I think you merit to see something beautiful.”
You stop walking and look in his direction.
“Do…you see something beautiful right now?”
“Yes.”
“Oh.”
He extends his hand and holds it. He takes a hold of your waist and you dash in an instant to the river. It’s just the two of you standing there. Out of nowhere, you see a flash of cherry blossom petals. It’s bright and beautiful to see. You’re in disbelief as you just met this person, and at first, you couldn’t stand him, but now, he’s showing this side of you out of nowhere. “What am I supposed to do now?” you thought.
“This is…wonderful. Thank you”, are the only words that you can mutter at this moment.
“Well, well! What a sight for sore eyes!” says someone.
You turn around and it’s Mr. Urahara. “What are you doing here?” you inquire.
“After I sensed that spiritual pressure and witnessed the Menos Grander earlier, I figured I should investigate what was happening. There’s a reason why I kept my eye on you.” his playful demeanour began to change to a more serious tone. “Since your arrival, the presence of hollows has increased in Karakura Town. I think there’s something about you that is attracting them; you smell of something and it makes them pop out like weeds. Luckily, your dashing Captain was here to save the day, but that’s not always the case for everyone.”
Byakuya remained silent while Urahara was talking. When Urahara was done talking, he interjected to ask, “Is there a way to keep Hollows from trying to find her?”
“Sure. If she wants to remain here in the World of the Living, she will need to wear this necklace. I’ve been working on something like this for a while to see if I can prevent hollows from appearing near the shop, wouldn’t want any hollow to eat my customers.”
“I thought I was only your only customer”, you pipe up.
Urahara’s face turns bright red. He conceals it with his fan. “Another way that you could avoid this is…if you were to stay within the Soul Society.”
“Why would you bring that up?”
“You may not take off that necklace. I also forgot to mention that this necklace is not a foolproof way to prevent hollows from appearing. It may be possible that they could follow you wherever you go. Whether it’s here or outside of Karakura Town. So option 2, you go live in the Soul Society.”
“Won’t I be considered dead?”
“Not necessarily; it doesn't mean you would have to stay there forever. You would just need to be with a Soul Reaper at all times just in case any incident occurs.”
You remain quiet. You’re already homesick as it is, but then this was dropped onto your lap.
“I’ll make sure she’s comfortable…” Byakuya says.
“Why would you do something for me?” you ask him.
“You didn’t ask for any of this. You are no burden to me, and as I said, I want to keep you safe and make you feel protected. Would you allow me this?”
You feel something in your stomach; butterflies are forming. Up until now, you didn’t think it would be possible to feel this right now. You admire his ability to be confident and the subtle way he shows you that he cares about you.
“Don’t hesitate to take a chance if you feel happy right now.” are the words that are ringing in your head.
“Okay, I’ll go. On one condition? I get to see my family when I can.”
“You can go for two seasons. You can go visit them in the Spring and Summer. You’ll be like a Goddess…gifting growth and splendour with your presence. I’ll be there, but I understand how important these trips to the World of the Living will be.”
“Byakuya…” you speak softly.
“I will protect you, respect you. If it becomes too much, just tell me. You’ll be comfortable, I guarantee that.”
“Then it’s settled! You’ll go to the Soul Society and you’ll have a knight in shining armour when you come back to visit.” Urahara says with glee.
Byakuya quietly glares at Urahara, but his expression changes upon looking at you.
“Wait? What about Christmas? I can’t miss it!”
“We do celebrate the holidays in the Soul Society, but not in the same way as you would here. To ensure your happiness…I will make sure to celebrate the holiday to your liking.”
“Okay.” you smile at him.
2 weeks later.
You spent your days at Byakuya’s manor. You had no idea he was of his nobility. He never bragged or talked about it, but your comfort was his primary priority. He always had his maids helping you get dressed for the day. You wanted to be respectful of Byakuya, so you wore a traditional kimono. The first moment he saw you, he told you how beautiful you looked. If the floor felt too hard for you, he immediately got extra pillows so your bum wouldn’t hurt. If it was raining, he’d hold an umbrella for you so you wouldn’t get wet.
He would do his Captain duties during the day, but he tried to settle for a routine when he could to spend time with you. You didn’t ask for any of this, but you liked the moments when you could just talk to him about his day. He enjoyed the quality time with you the most. He liked seeing you and making sure you were happy. You were content, but you felt like something was missing. He became aware of this when one of his maids shared that they caught you crying quietly in the garden.
One day before Christmas, you were blindfolded and escorted somewhere. You weren’t sure where you were going, but Byakuya held you by your hand.
“Almost there, I’m right here.” He told you.
You feel the blindfold come off. You open your eyes and see a giant screen, and it’s your family.
“Hello? Can you see us?” he asks.
“Yes! Oh my god! Why didn’t you tell us about this man? Why would you keep something like this from us?”
You feel tears forming. This man in some way must love you to talk to your family and schedule this video call with them.
“It just happened. He’s made sure that… I’m happy.” you say happily.
“When will get to meet him in person?” they continue to speak over each other.
“Maybe during the Spring? Can we visit for Spring and Summer?” you ask.
“Of course you can! We’ll show him everything there is to know about us and where we live.” your family replies ecstatically.
“I’m making sure that she’s happy, I would hate to let you and her down at any point,” Byakuya interjects.
“So when’s the wedding then?” someone asks.
“Okayyyy. That’s enough. Merry Christmas everyone!” you signal to Byakuya to hang up the call.
“Sorry about that. They can be…a lot sometimes,” you tell him with a hue of pink on your cheeks.
“It’s quite alright. As far as the wedding, it’s only until you say you’re ready. I’ll never force you to do anything.” he says warmly.
As you both are walking through the wide doors, Byakuya stops.
“Is there something wrong?” you look at him.
“No, but it seems there’s something above us.” he signals with his eyes that there’s mistletoe.
“You know about mistletoe?” you ask him with a slight smirk.
“No, but that’s why I had people tell me about Christmas traditions,” he says proudly. “So may I have the honour of kissing you?”
“Yes…you may.” your eyes close as his lips ghost yours. The kiss is as soft and gentle as you imagined.
“Merry Christmas,” he says and places a final kiss on your cheek.

“Just relax for me, I’ll make it feel good.” for enji maybe?
warnings: smut, oral sex(male receiving), jealousy, insecurities| dividers: @adornedwithlight
Dating Endeavor isn’t always easy, but you love him nonetheless. Sometimes watching himself try to outdo the number one hero makes you worried. You know that Enji is capable of so many things but you wish you could make him see that he’s perfectly good just the way he is.
You do everything in your power to support him. You make him feel loved and safe and he shares secrets and insecurities and worries with you that he would never tell anyone else.
Yet he still chooses to be so high strung. He’s so impatient and angry and never knows how to relax properly. You wish you could figure out the right things to say or do sometimes. But you know that no matter what, you’ll stay by his side.
Soon, you have him over for dinner. You do your absolute best to make sure you feed him well. Enji has been rather stressed lately and you know it only gets worse when he begins to spiral in his own self-doubt. You can see it written all over his face; he’s just going to continue to deprecate himself. It hurts you to see him like this, but you do what you can to stay positive.
After dinner, he’s still mulling over something. You finally just decide to sit in his lap, running your fingers through his hair before kissing him deeply. Enji tries to continue what he’s saying, but soon he’s melting into your warm embrace.
You smell so good, he can’t help himself. It’s hard to relax sometimes but the way you make him feel lets him know that he can be at peace with you. You slowly begin to grind against him, making him hard.
His tongue penetrates your mouth, rubbing against your tongue. It’s sensual and a little sloppy, but it only adds to the intimacy. His large hands caress and rub you all over, making you arch into his touch. Then finally, you begin to remove his clothes, kissing down his chest until you get on your knees in front of him.
You massage his massive thighs, reaching up to pull down his pants. You’ve got a cute little smirk on your face when you see just how hard his cock is. You begin to slowly stroke him, making him grunt.
“Fuck,” he hisses through gritted teeth. You lean in and give the tip a little lick.
“Just relax for me, I’ll make it feel good.”
And with that, you slowly take him deep down into your throat. You begin to bob your head up and down, swallowing around him. All you want is for him to feel so good.
When his fingers tangle in your hair, you know you’re doing exactly what you need to. You look up at him with such a lovesick look, you feel his cock throbbing against your tongue. Your hand comes up to massage his heavy balls and he lets out the hottest sounding moan ever.
“That’s it,” he grunts. “Don’t stop.”
And you have no intentions of stopping until he’s seeing stars.

Alright, do you do Dabi requests? I saw this one on the list and immediately thought of him - “You never loved me, did you?”
“You never loved me, did you?” with Dabi
Warnings: gn!reader, hero!reader, sad, spoilers for MHA, very angst, no happy ending only suffering A/N: It's very short even for a drabble, but it still packs a punch. Taglist: @pixelcafe-network, @actuallysaiyann, @sweet-chocolate-sweet, @helloiamadrawer, @satorustar, @keiva1000, @copolite01 Angst Prompts
Hawks had been reluctant to let you in on his infiltration mission. You were insistent, however. You wanted to help the cause, and this was the best way to do so.
You hadn’t counted on Dabi. He might have been standoffish towards Hawks, but he’d been friendly with you. Every time you met up with him, he flirted with you. You knew not to get involved, Hawks had even seen what was growing and tried to kill it quickly. By the time he realized, it was too late.
You’d already begun sneaking away to meet Dabi whenever you could. Most of the time, if you couldn’t get away to meet him then you’d get home to find him sprawled out on your bed, flipping through a magazine.
“Dabi,” you’d gasp and scold him for being reckless, but he always shushed you with a kiss.
“I’m not a fucking dumbass, I know how to be sneaky,” he chuckled when made an exceptionally big fuss over it.
It was fun, really, to do something so bad. In those stolen moments with Dabi, you’d realize what the allure of a dark side could be. There was something else there too. A deeper connection that somehow blossomed despite your veiled attempts to keep the truth hidden from one another.
In quiet stories whispered in the dark as he laid on your chest, you’d begun to realize that Dabi was lonely and broken. Behind the punk veneer was a hurting little boy.
“What were you thinking?” Hawks asked you later, after the Jaku City disaster when he found out how far things had truly gone between you and Dabi. Truth be told, you didn’t know the answer. Maybe you weren’t thinking.
You certainly never predicted it would end this way. You were sitting in front of a glass tank where he rested. He was a shell of the man you’d come to know so well.
“S-stop coming here,” he said in a gritty voice that you could barely recognize.
“I like coming to see you.”
“Lies. Like everything else.”
You come closer to the glass, “I didn’t lie. Not to you.”
“Another lie,” he growled. “You never loved me, did you?”
"Of course I did," you insisted. "I really did...Do."
He takes a deep raggedy breath, then becomes unresponsive. The doctor told you that's all he can manage for the day, and you were taken out of the room.

#100 Dialogue Prompts- Angst Edition
“This will be the last time you lie to me.”
“You know it’s not like that.”
“How could you think this wouldn’t hurt me?”
“You’re never going to be the same after this.”
“I just think it’d be best if we never met.”
“I can’t believe you would even think to leave me like this.”
“You never loved me, did you?”
“It didn’t have to be like this, but now you’ve ruined everything.”
“I hope you’re happy.”
“If you had have kept your mouth shut, then he’d still- he’d still be here!”
“What did you want once this was all through? Tell me!”
“Now I have to deal with the consequences of your actions. Thanks, it means a lot.”
“You could’ve- could’ve stayed. You could’ve helped me fix things.”
“I knew she’d never change, she was too stubborn, too similar to me.”
“This isn’t going to be fixed. You’ve ruined this for good now.”
“I hope I’m not put in the same part of hell as you.”
“When did you think you could hurt me again? Today? Tomorrow?”
“You’re back in my life and I want to die again.”
“You only ever brought me pain and I’m sick of it.”
“I hope you got what you wanted.”
“You made me miserable and I still loved you.”
“When you die, I’ll be the first to dance on your grave.”
“Don’t underestimate me, I have more power than you can even comprehend.”
“If only you knew what you’d brought upon yourself.”
“We’re never going to have a happy ending, just remember that.”
“Everytime something goes well, I momentarily forget how much I despise you.”
“Don’t pretend like you’re not happy to see me like this.”
“There is nothing worse than seeing you get what you want.”
“Your mind must be a horrible place.”
“You can cut me, bruise me and skin me alive, but you will not take her from me.”
“How is it that we always end up in this predicament?”
“I want to wipe that grin of your face with my sword, but my mother taught me to play nicely.”
“Did anyone ever tell you how pathetic you are? It’s incredible how low my standards are for you.”
“Ah, well if you want them back alive, I suggest you lay down your own life.”
“Don’t be ‘smart’. The battlefield is no place for Math Scholars.”
“You shouldn’t have come. You can’t be-”
“Stop talking or tomorrow won’t come.”
“Hand me the gun and I’ll kill him myself.”
“I shouldn’t care for your life, but I’m starting to and it’s becoming an inconvenience.”
“If you live to see her, please send my best regards and this box of her father’s ashes.”
“It would’ve been nice to get to know you better, but I’m afraid I don’t care.”
“I can’t help but think you’re a terrible person.”
“Seeing your face has unconventionally made me want to die. I wasn’t quite prepared for this feeling.”
“You could have loved me, I’m quite good at seducing, but you’re actually vile.”
“I hope I see you in a bodybag sometime.”
“Let’s pretend you didn’t cheat on me with my sister and be good people for a few minutes.”
“We should probably stop talking forever.”
“If I hated you anymore, I think I’d probably be crowned as satan’s right-hand man.”
“To say I ‘tolerate you’ is a vast overstatement.”
“You broke her heart and came back for more, you bastard.”
“This isn’t fifth grade, this is a courtroom, you whore.”
“I think you’d be the perfect match for my ex-husband. He loved to sleep with multiple people.”
“I’m not coming home, don’t look for me.”
“Time was always a measurement of this relationship and we finally ran out.”
“Please don’t look at me with such hatred.”
“I could’ve died and you couldn’t have cared less.”
“Just get out. I- I don’t want you here, just leave.”
“You’re not the same person I married, don’t tell me I’m wrong.”
“I wish you wouldn’t beg for forgiveness, it has the opposite effect of what you want.”
“Don’t hate me for this. You would’ve done the same.”
“This could’ve been the end and you were ready to let me go.”
“You should’ve left me, you could never deserve the person I’ve become.”
“Hate me all you want. I know I’m right.”
“Today you broke my arm, I hope tomorrow it’s not my heart.”
“Nothing can justify this, you’ve ruined him.”
“You live with so much guilt, I hope it drives you mad one of these days.”
“My life was ruined because of one mistake. You were that mistake.”
“You are everything I hate, don’t ever come back.”
“Evil doesn’t come close.”
“Your wrongdoings are becoming your pastimes.”
“I wish you had of just done it for the thrill of it, but now you’re in deep shit.”
“Next time, I won’t be here to salvage your wreckage. This is the last time.”
“You should have ruined me when you had the chance.”
“No one will keep your name alive. Once you’re gone, everything you once stood for disappears too.”
“Don’t pretend you haven’t thought about your life without me.”
“This is always how it ends.”
“Break my heart once more, I dare you.”
“Forget how you loved me once, I mean nothing now.”
“This isn’t Romeo and Juliet, this is real life and I can go on without you.”
“You don’t own me, I don’t belong to you.”
“I should’ve died. That would’ve made you happy.”
“Are we going to carry on like this or are you going to give him back to me.”
“She drowned and he lost his mind.”
“We shouldn’t. You’re married and I’m pregnant.”
“You’ve never been loved, I can tell.”
“Who told you I needed fixing and what made you believe them?”
“You’re almost as far-gone as I am.”
“Maybe it’s best that we don’t go home.”
“Roaming the streets was never safe for her. What makes you think it’s different for you?”
“I think you’re going to ruin me. Am I right?”
“Do you remember our last feud? I wouldn’t want someone to lose their life again, would you?”
“Kiss me quick and leave them be.”
“I hate seeing you so sad. It’s just so dramatic how humans show emotions and being sad is such a boring one.”
“Will you ever forget my number? No? Ah, because you still love me.”
“After the funeral, let’s surrender.”
“What made you think I cared for you?”
“It’ll be fun explaining this to your sister. I hope she likes horror stories.”
“Don’t act as if we’re friends. I know how much you want to slit my throat.”
“Let’s not get angry. Let’s calmly and sensibly take this outside so I can ruin your face.”
“Please ruin yourself for me and I’ll watch in adoration as I fall apart as well.”

I feel like I'm gonna regret this but can I get number 13 with Tomura 😭
“You could’ve- could’ve stayed. You could’ve helped me fix things.” with Tomura Shigaraki
Warnings: death, grieving, alcoholism, angst, just all-around very depressing
I'M SORRY, BACON! I LOVE YOU FOREVER!
Angst Prompts
It had been months since he left you. It was the morning after you first made love. You’d expected to wake up in his arms, but instead woke up alone in the dingy hotel room the two of you had called home ever since he rebelled against All For One. You were so sure you’d gotten through to him, that your love would be enough to save him. It was all you wanted to do.
When you woke up alone, you didn’t know where he’d gone. You waited just where he left you, curled up on the bed in his t-shirt, for hours. The sun had long since set when you realized he wasn’t going to return. You’d hoped he had decided to continue his journey of freedom on his own.
Then the world turned to shit, and you learned on the news he’d enacted his plan. You’d watched alone and helpless on a cracked television as the only person you’d ever loved died.
Months had passed since then. The world was moving on from nearly ending. Healing, as you’d heard someone on television say. The world still turned without Tomura, but you couldn’t move on. Your heart ached with so much sadness that you wished more than anything some days that you could just rip it out and leave it behind. Who needs a heart?
You were drunk again. It was the state you lived in these days. Every time you took a sip from the bottle you prayed that it would take your thoughts of him away, but it never did.
The fluorescent light in the kitchen of the tiny studio apartment you were renting blinked insistently above you. On the grimy floor you sat with your phone clutched in your hands as you scrolled through your photos of him. He hated when you took pictures. It brought out his insecurities, the ones he’d hidden from the rest of the league but shared with you. You were happy that you went against his wishes, because now those photos are all you have of him.
“You could’ve—” your voice trailed off as you stared at him, his image grew blurry from the tears welling up in your eyes. “You could’ve stayed! You could’ve helped me fix things!”
Your voice cracked as you yelled at the phone, and then threw it against the wall. Loud, desperate sobs fill the small space as your body shakes. The pain was almost too much for you. Your thoughts raced with ‘what ifs’ and imagined scenarios of what could’ve been.
“Fuck,” you whimpered and then crawled across the floor to grab your phone. Your hands were shaking as you turned it over to make sure you hadn’t broken it. When the screen lights up, there’s a crack running through the middle. You let out a sigh of relief that it’s still usable.
“You shouldn’t have left me,” you whispered. You lay on the floor with the phone clutched to your chest. “I don’t know how to live without you.”

May I get #1 with Enji please 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
warnings: smut, vaginal fingering, Enji being dominant, spanking, biting| Dividers: @adornedwithlight
Whenever he has to go out of town for some hero Gala or something of the sort, Enji gets really nervous about leaving you home alone. He doesn’t want you to be lonely, but he also doesn’t like the idea of any kind of stranger getting close to you.
This time was no different. He was away for a few days for a conference, and when he returned, he was feeling so pent up. You were trying to finish up some chores, but Enji was not having it.
He grabs you from your waist, pulling you closer into his chest. You moan softly, trying to remind him that you’re not done with the dishes. Enji leans in close, towering over you.
“Listen to me, I need you. Now.”
He nips at your earlobe, making you shudder. You know better than to tell him no, but you also know that being a brat turns him on as well. You try to turn around in his grasp, frowning at him.
“I have to finish these dishes!”
This earns you a swat on the ass. You yelp, noticing the way your panties are instantly soaked. You can feel the warmth and heat from your lover who has grown even more impatient. He begins to knead your breasts, and his touch grows in intensity.
“What did I just say?” He asks, biting down on your neck. “Didn’t I say I need you?”
You want to say something else bratty, but with the way he shoves his hand down your pants and begins to finger you roughly, you know you won’t be able to say too much. Already you can feel your resolve thinning. Still, you attempt a last ditch effort.
“Enji, please…dishes.”
He growls and shoves another finger into your pussy. You can feel your knees buckling, so you trust him to hold you up. His other hand holds you close to him as he finger fucks you roughly.
This is when he bends you over the counter, pulling down your comfy sweatpants. He laughs when he sees just how soaked you are. How pathetic can you be to be so aroused by barely anything?
Enji kneels down, spreading your ass cheeks and leaning in to get a good whiff of your arousal. His cock is rock hard, straining against his expensive dress pants. He blows warm air against your wet pussy, watching as you squirm.
“Did you think you could get away with being such a brat?” He grunts as he begins to nip at your inner thighs. “When I say I need you now, I mean it.”
You try to squirm away, which earns you a very harsh slap on your ass. The moan that comes from you is nothing short of pornographic. When you look behind yourself at your lover, you can see the fire in his eyes.
“Do I look like I’m messing around? Do I look like I won’t punish you?” He grunts.
You try to come up with something to say, but you are in too deep to do something this stupid. Instead, you swallow hard and you wiggle your ass. Enji smirks at your reaction, knowing you’ll be mostly a very good girl.
“Good, now let me enjoy you.”
send me a prompt and a character and I'll write you a Drabble!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS, RYE!
⋆꙳•❅°⋆❆.ೃ࿔:・*❆ ₊⋆
Warnings: fluffy! so fluffy! Summary: You beg Sakura to go ice skating with you. The only problem is neither of you actually know how to ice skate.
⋆꙳•❅°⋆❆.ೃ࿔:・*❆ ₊⋆
@ryescapades, happy holidays! I hope this finds you well and brings you some Christmas cheer! ❄️❄️
Also tagging @pixelcafe-network for confirmation I've given my gift!
Sakura did not want to go ice skating. It seemed like a stupid activity that was bound to end in you both being embarrassed. Most likely him, if he’s being honest with himself. You have a beautiful talent for laughing off the momentary embarrassment and continue having fun. You flash him that pretty smile, lighting up the room and making him want to kiss you, and he can’t help but also want to laugh it off. But he can never quite bring himself to that point. He’ll still get all pouty about it.
“It will be so much fun!” you say as you hold his hand, dragging him behind you. It was that damn smile again that got him into this. It started with you begging him to go out with you to look at the lights, and before he knew it was happening you had entered into your ice-skating theme.
“There’s just one problem, babe, neither of us knows how to ice skate,” Sakura said He felt your grip loosen on his hand for a moment, but then tighten again in determination.
“Well, there’s no time like the present,” you persisted.
Sakura’s answering sigh was heavy and defeated. His feet moved faster to catch up with you, and then he let go of your hand to wrap his arm around your waist instead. He kissed your temple quickly. He may act annoyed, but he liked this about you. You’re a little bratty when you want to get your way, but you just don’t want to back down from something you want to do.
“Fine, but don’t come whining to me when you bust your ass,” he scoffed.
You do lose your nerve a little bit once you’re actually at the rink. You stand on the edge of the ice, holding onto the railing as you struggle to stand on the skates. Longingly, you watch as the other skaters glide effortlessly across the ice. One couple even seems to be having a dance on the ice. Even those struggling seemed to be having fun just being together and leaning on one another for support. Stupid Sakura. He turned out to be a natural at ice skating. Right away he knew how to balance himself on the skates, and he only stumbled a couple of times before figuring out how to push off. It was infuriating. He hadn’t even wanted to go skating, and now he was having all the fun.
Meanwhile, you hadn’t even been brave enough to get out on the ice. Your heart had a pang of longing as you tried and failed once again to balance yourself.
He skated around in circles, then came to your side.
“I thought you were excited,” he said with a frown.
“I was,” you pouted. “But now I’m scared.”
“Scared? Since when do you get scared?”
“Now, dummy!”
He chuckled softly, then reached over to grab your hand. You try to pull away, whining that this is too hard and you want to go home, but he won’t leave you alone.
“You dragged us here,” he insisted. “We’re not leaving until you skate.”
Finally, he managed to get you away from the guardrail. He couldn’t deny that he liked how you leaned on him, your body against his for support as you figured out how to hold yourself up. To your surprise, he begins encouraging you gently.
“You’re doing good,” he said quiet enough that only you could hear him. His hands were firm on your waist, holding you steady and ready to catch you should you fall.
“You’re so cute like this,” he teased you as you struggled and whined for his help when he let go for a moment.
“Shut up,” you mumbled.
Despite your embarrassment, Sakura was a good teacher. He knew you didn’t want to be miserable when you’d been looking forward to this so much. Knowing you were struggling with the venture, he took it upon himself to try to keep things lighter. It was odd for him to feel this way, but he wanted to make sure you were happy above all else.
He helped guide you, still holding your waist at first. Then, as you gained your confidence you moved to be holding his hand. Even then, his eyes stayed on your feet in case you lost your balance. A smile slowly formed on your face and your eyes lit up the more you got the hang of it.
Soon enough, you weren’t even holding onto him anymore. You were starting to skate on your own, making him follow you as you went towards the middle of the rink. Now that you had the hang of it,you insisted on skating until you were worn out.
Your legs ached from the effort of this newfound pastime. By the time you leave, you’re shivering in the cold. At first, you were trying to walk, but Sakura took pity on your whining. He let you get on his back, secretly enjoying the feeling of your breath on his ear.
“That was fun,” you smile softly. Despite everything, you enjoyed yourself so much, and learning with Sakura was even better.
“It was alright,” he said casually. You knew how much fun he really had, though you knew trying to get him to admit it would be like pulling teeth.
“We should go again sometime,” you smirked.
He chuckled softly, “We’ll see.”
By the time you arrive home, you’re both cold but the mood is cheerful. Sakura sets you down so you can dig the housekeys out of your pocket.
“Who wants hot chocolate?” you ask cheerfully as you start towards the kitchen.
He smiles to himself as he takes off his coat and hangs it up. You were so excited to get some hot chocolate started, you hadn’t even bothered to do the same thing. When he joins you in the kitchen, he pulls you away from the counter long enough to help you get out of your coat. He’s mumbling about you getting the floors wet, but there’s a playfulness in his voice even as he scolds you.
“Okay, Mr. Grumps, do you want extra marshmallows?” you ask him with a playful grin.
Sakura rolls his eyes at you, “Yeah, yeah. Whatever.”
“Awh, too shy to admit you love extra marshmallows in your hot chocolate?”
“No!”
He dismissively turns away to go hang your coat on the rack. He listens to you singing Christmas songs to yourself as you make hot chocolate and put some cookies on a plate. Sakura knows he’s not the easiest person to live with, but when he’s with you he feels like he’s home.
He turns on the television and sets it to your favorite show, then he sits on the couch. You’re smiling so bright as you come in with a tray of hot chocolate and snacks. You set it down on the coffee table before sitting down beside him. To your surprise, he pulls you close and kisses you deeply. Your face is flushed when you part for air.
“I love you,” he whispers softly.
“I love you too, Sakura,” you giggle.
