Long time bender of the UK rules here. Ha ha ha, what are Netflix gonna do? Shut me down? I’d like to see them try.

Previously I have done a combination of things.

The easiest—if you can wait—is a VPN and Netflix but that means waiting eight whole days because Netflix is a week behind if I remember rightly (who remembered anything pre-COVID anymore?). I’m getting off track. Anyway this option is easy peasy lemon squeezy. Is it fast, no? Can you wait eight days in this economy? Probably not.

So, we’re going deeper underground. Even further into the realms of illicit. God, this is about to get steamier than my glasses while reading some grade A smut.

Piracy. I’m talking about swashbuckling piracy.

When I just can’t wait this is my method of choice. I don’t like steaming sites because the million pop ups and also I have to watch with subtitles which they rarely have (dumb baby me was born hard of hearing). If I download the ep then at least I can load up a subtitles file and, y’know, actually know what’s going on. Plus no buffering!

Anyway. This isn’t really as deep as I’m making it. Downloading the ep will still be a VPN, but with the addition of incognito mode and some choice websites (I can message you these if you want the juicy details). At least with this option you can watch the next morning. Back when we were allowed outside I had downloaded episodes and put them on my phone for my commute on the Friday, following it airing Thursday night. Which makes this option faster however technically sketchier.

Of course, if any snitches are reading. This is all hypothetical.

I NEED HELP.

Do you know how to best watch the new episodes of SPN as soon as possible from the UK? Obviously it won’t be in real time but I’d like to watch ASAP so as to not have spoilers ruin it for me - which they inevitably will as I spend too much time on social media.

I’m thinking this may involve a VPN and/or a streaming site - but which ones? - any and all advice gratefully received. Message me if you don’t want to say ‘in public’

If you can help me figure this out, I’d be so so grateful!

I was reading your fics the day they finished filming the final episode.. I just wanted to tell you that you were the first Spn writer I discovered and I immediately fell in love with all your work. Reading your masterlist the day they wrapped made me feel a little better about the show ending and that we're getting closer and closer to seeing our boys for the last time.. I want to say thank you for making me smile. Supernatural has helped me thru a lot of bad times, your work was apart of that.

Wowza. You are hitting me where it hurts, my fragile feelings. This is so sweet and and I love you, ok.

I do wonder though. If I help other people feel better about the show ending, do I have to come to terms with it myself? I’m personally still deep in denial. I haven’t even looked at the other four steps yet.
