The best little fanon thing they confirmed for me was making the Bentley a little pet. Cause in the book it’s just a one off joke about how the CDs turn into queen if you leave them in A car long enough but it’s like no…the Bentley loves aziraphale and gives him sweets and plays whatever he wants and turns yellow for him and parks where he tell it to and plays “a nightingale sang in Berkeley square” when crowley is heartbroken and plays “good old fashioned lover boy” when crowley is racing back to help aziraphale. And crowley coos to it like it’s a puppy. Love that car

So, I'm writing this as a good reminder to myself and other people, since I saw a similar post the other day. When you like a show that a lot of people like to trash (ie. Miraculous) - whether for funsies or because they have nothing else to do with their life - you don't have to follow that.

Everyone has different feelings and interpretations of episodes, plots, and characters. Not everyone will pick things apart, see the symbolism behind stuff, like what happened, etc. But the biggest reminder is you can just like it for what it is.

Animated shows like Miraculous are meant to be entertaining. There's always going to be bad slip ups, concepts, and people behind the show. By all means, call them out if it's absolutely unacceptable (ie. racism, misogyny, misandry). But if it's not something serious, don't feel you have to look deep into it. Also don't let other people's posts necessarily try to sway you to feel a certain way if that isn't how you felt when you watched it yourself.

From my perspective, I know I'll watch an episode of Miraculous and be like "That was so fun! There's so much I liked about that!" But then, I'll see this YouTuber I watch say "wow, that was the worst episode I've ever seen" and pick it apart. After seeing that, I'll view it differently and think too much into it, even if I didn't see it as "bad" prior to. So, don't do that to yourself. If you see content like that, don't feel you have to dislike it too or see it the same way that person did. Hell, unfollow the person if it gets to be too much.

If you see/hear stuff like "you should too" (I'm guilty of doing that), don't feel pressured. That's usually not the goal, and you shouldn't make it a goal for yourself to see things in a certain light like that.
