Getting ready for pride month

Hmm...irony of life, just when my mentality starts changing and I actually start thinking that I *want* to have a child, to be a mother, a parent I realise that I have PCOS that’ll make that fricking hard, if not impossible, especially since, now that I’ve actually started explaining it to my mother, she’ll pulling out family members left and right (on my dad’s side) who either knowingly have or had it (they’re deceased) and guess how many of those she identified had children? None.

Not to say I’m completely despairing here. I’ll get put on medication in June and research is suggesting a complete lifestyle change and weight-loss which tbh I’ve been working on for a while now. It’s just that it’s moved from me going, eh, I love me but let’s try to be a bit more healthy to, fuck this body that’s trying to derail something I kinda sorta maybe actually want now.

When you got here at 5:45 am and at 7:45 pm you realise there's at least a next 3 hours to go. Sigh. #soonover

the most #UselessLesbian thing i have ever done was when i was trying to figure out if this girl liked me or not, just constantly arguing with myself about it, and after a couple, uh, months, of this, i was like, “god i wish i could just like… go to court and lay out all this evidence and have a couple lawyers argue over the TRUE MEANING of her text messages, and then a judge tells me if she likes me or not.” and then the proverbial lightbulb went off over my proverbial head, and i dug into my mock trial folder from high school and found the trial guidelines and i wrote out an entire trial transcript featuring a plaintiff (me), my attorney (my wildest hopes and dreams), a defense attorney (my worst fears and insecurities), and a judge (my desperate attempt at rationality). the final product was several thousand words long. it clarified nothing. at any point in this process did it occur to me to ask her how she felt about me? absolutely not. did i ever stop and think, “hey, maybe i should tell her that i like her?” absolutely not. that’s for people who take risks and i don’t take risks i take myself to court in my own head.

for one I think lesbians being oblivious for not realizing that another woman is attracted to them to such a degree that even as “hey I think you’re beautiful and I would kiss you” would cause a reaction of “hmm I think she meant as a friend” comes from us being brainwashed from birth that everything women feel between each other is purely platonic but I also think some of us are just fucking dumbasses

writing advice: never italicize words to show emphasis! if you’re writing well then the reader will know and you don’t need them!

I’m legit just too busy to write tbh. I mean I *could* find the time but that’d require negating sleep and I can’t do that on a consistent basis anymore so...yeah :/.
