So I kind forgot about this blog but I just got a new computer, finally. I started playing Me, a Yume Nikki fangame by Isasapiens.

Title screen is pretty normal, the music kinda annoyed me because it has a long silence before it loops. So the room is preetty large, but kinda empty. Unlike YN and other fangames, this time you also have a bathroom and a kitchen! I think that’s quite cool. On Me’s room there’s a computer, which, like in Yume 2kki, gives you access to wallpapers relating to the game, music, a mini game, and something new, mail! I am so glad another fangame is using what is one of my favorite things about Yume 2kki. So to “dream” you have to click on the stereo. The Nexus is normal, like the one in YN. I explored for a bit just to get a taste...

Cool NPCs and atmosphere, one complaint is too much diagonal walking.

I love these passages in any fangame... These I especially liked.

There’s one of these in every game huh? SO that ball is supposedly an orb? I dont know what they do but I guess Im supposed to collect them.

I’m guessing this was inspired by 2kki’s marginal vivid worker, I love it!

Gore is obviously necessary in yn fangames, is what people seem to think. I don’t mind that, but not a big fan! I like how this looks though.

Beautiful and very simple.

This game is quite pleasing to look at. The music is also nice.

SO i clicked a glitch thing and it turned into this. Cool, but kinda irritating after a while. But thankfully there’s less painful variations:

So i only got one effect so far, Eye fruit, which is the Medamaude of this game. Gonna continue exploring soon, looks very promising.

I've begun playing yume 2kki again on my Mac (which is in very poor condition, but is the only computer I have) using wineskin and a tutorial I found here. So I opened it up and I just started exploring, I don't remember most of this as it's been a long time since I last played. I entered the Heart world, the first on the right exiting the room door, and I just walked for a bit, then there was that grey person -> deciding street. I remember you could get to the netherworld somewhere here but I didn't feel like going there, ended up on dizzy spirals world, and then art gallery, so on one of the paintings the game just crashed. That's it for first experience I guess.
