Stunning Hebridean lamb from Kern Farm on the Island. The lambs are taken down to Dorset and are allowed to munch away on nice grass for a few days before their time comes. I admire this so much (but still not ideal) as it's so much kinder to the animal rather than just direct from the lorry into the abattoir after a stressful journey over land and water. An abattoir for the Island is so important whether it's mobile or fixed and hopefully someday everyone can agree on this and it might actually happen! #thompsons #isleofwight #kernfarm #sustainability #teamworkmakesthedreamwork (at Thompson's Restaurant)
