Cause bro, hear me out. Ignacio has bandages on his left arm, and in that scene where that one cultist brandishe the knife to Father Gregor was holding it in their right hand, but not left. (Cause Pelo probably doesn't wanna make it obvious who the cultist is to the viewers.)

so the cultists are completely obscured in their robes, its literally impossible to tell whose under these things right

but i feel like we are all ignoring the ONE separating factor about them all

occasionally, they have HANDS.

occasionally the robes magically grow sleeves and you can see their hands (and by extension, fingertips)

the characters in SM have differing fingertips! Squared, rounded, and pointed mostly

the only outliers i could find that didnt fit this was like.. skid and pump. and even skid had rounded fingers that one time

AND BECAUSE THE HANDS ARE THE ONLY THING WE SEE FROM THE CULTISTS, THIS CAN HELP US IDENTIFY WHOSE WHO just a little, just a bit

I thought that Mayor Evermore's line here,

"Well we'll meet again Father, hopefully soon." was alluding to the fact that he was a cultist. Him saying "hopefully soon" in sort of a... teasing/sadistic way?

I then had a hc that Evermore was the one to knock Gregor out with the brick! BUT. I disproved this to myself. because THE HANDS DIDNT MATCH.

the cultist that knocked Gregor out has rounded-tipped fingers, while Evermore obviously has the more squared ones

is this absolutely insane? a little bit yeah but im fuckin onto something okay. that something might be drugs.

i dont personally subscribe to the theory that Aaron's in the cult, apparently it's kinda popular idk, but it could be proved if a cultist is seen with Aaron's snake tattoo. I TOLD YOU. THIS COULD BE SOMETHING.
