Verchoni for the Halloween ship asks please 🥺

Chooses the pumpkin: Veronica spends weeks researching, asking around town to gather information on the best pumpkin patches. Toni drives Veronica to every place on her list and the two load Sweet Pea's truck full of at least two dozen pumpkins. When Veronica Lodge organises a party she does not half ass it. Plus, Toni wants to show her girls her pumpkin pie recipe. Any excuse to make some spooky snacks is a must.

Carves the pumpkin: Cheryl. It's artsy, it's kind of violent which is perfect for her. Toni loves to get photos of the process and the finished masterpiece. Veronica is much more into decorating the house and planning their first ever Halloween party. It takes little convincing for Veronica to drag her girls to the shops in January to make sure they're well stocked up. Whilst Cheryl is twirling her carving knife like a baton Veronica is spiraling Halloween tinsel down the staircase and hanging fake cobwebs over the curtains.

Gets scared and clings to the other in a haunted house: The three of them are pretty tough so haunted houses don't really phase them. It's afterwards when some prick decides to dress up as Jason and Cheryl is sobbing into Veronica's chest as Toni delivers a punch right to the guy's nose and sends him racing off in the opposite direction. They spend the rest of the night at home watching cheesy Halloween movies and soaking in the comfort of one another.

Matching costume idea: Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn and Catwoman. Toni already had a bat and she can't help but drool when she thinks of Veronica in her stealth outfit when they went to rescue Cheryl. Cheryl lives the chance to dress up as Ivy. It's perfect for them and they always look fierce and so in tune with one another. The fiercest power trio in Riverdale playing a badass trio, they just had to.

Makes a cosy bed-fort to cuddle in: Cheryl. She organises everything. It's after a long day, she can tell Veronica is drained (she's been prepping hard for applications and needs a break) and decides to make a fort, with Toni's help of course. They chose the fluffiest if pillows and lure Veronica into their cosy den with kisses and give her a well needed massage. Cheryl loves to give massages and with the way Veronica is moaning, it's safe to say their fortress won't be staying innocent for long.

Steals the other's candy: Veronica and Cheryl are constantly stealing one another's candy. It's almost like a challenge and whether it ends in a fight to a tickley death or with them making out its always entertaining. Though Toni has had to hide the red vines several times to stop a full blown argument. Toni almost always gets away with sneaking bits of their candy, her kisses work as a very good distraction.

Accidently gets lost in a corn maze: Cheryl. She kept arguing with Veronica about which way to turn. Toni guides her out safely and tries not to laugh as Veronica teases Cheryl for the rest of the night, or at least until Cheryl straddles her and proceeds to shut her up.

Tells spooky stories to scare the other/others: Toni loves telling spooky stories. They don't really scare the other two, being in Riverdale is scary enough but they're a lot of fun when they're all cuddled in blankets around the fire with a cheesy movie playing in the background. Cheryl and Veronica find it hilarious that Toni's stories have some of their friends running away in terror.

Collects cool looking leaves: Toni likes to take photos of them, she uses them as props and backing in her photography and when she's finished Cheryl likes to use them as sketching practice. Veronica will sometimes use them to try and make popery to have around the house.

Snippet from an unfinished Verchoni vacation WIP I forgot I started 😅 don't think I've forgotten about my beloved ot3, I just haven't had the motivation to finish the works but I'm getting there. Anyway....

"Trust a vacation to be the thing that makes you wake up early." Cheryl rolls her eyes, an evident huff in her tone.

She sits arms folded, glaring as Veronica paces back and forth muttering to herself.

Toni pats Cheryl's knee giving her a sympathetic smile as Veronica's voice gets louder, finally addressing her girlfriends directly.

She points to Cheryl, "Did you remember the sunscreen?"

"For the third time - yes."

Veronica continues as if Cheryl hadn't spoke, pointedly ignoring the impatient tone. She lists on her fingers.

"Tones, you reminded Sweet Pea that he's driving us right?"

"Of course Vee," Toni says softly, a grin starting to form, "but you're welcome to message him again."

Cheryl snorts, "what was it that he responded with last time?"

Veronica narrows her eyes, the corners of her mouth lifting up as she fails to hide a smile.

"Moving on, our flight is at 10:48 so-"

"So you can relax until then."

Veronica goes to speak, words falling short at the warning glance Toni shoots her way. With a defeated sigh she flops down on Toni's other side.

"This is our first vacation together," Veronica picks at her fingernails, refusing to meet their gaze, "I need it to be perfect."

Toni cups her cheek gently tilting Veronica's chin to face them. "The trip will be fine baby."

Veronica bites her lip and shakes her head. Before she can turn away Cheryl reaches for her hand, effortlessly interlocking their fingers and letting her thumb rub soothing circles over Veronica's wrist.

"I know you want everything to be perfect, and we love that about you," Cheryl traces a heart over Veronica's wrist, "the trip will be perfect, because you'll be there with us."

Veronica blinks, her eyes shining with unshed tears and a dazzling smile taking over her face.

"I love you both so much."

Cheryl brings their hands to her lips, placing a soft kiss to Veronica's knuckles. Veronica's blush is instaneous, her head finding a spot in the crook of Toni's neck placing her own feather light kiss to the exposed skin. At Toni's shaky exhale of breath Veronica continues trailing her lips up the curve of Toni's neck until their lips meet, Veronica taking control with fierce demanding lips.

The kiss quickly heats up, Toni's hands weaving into silky raven hair as Veronica straddles her lap. Toni hums against her lips, gently running her hands up and down Veronica's sides. Veronica tilts her neck giving Toni more access.

Cheryl clearly done with being ignored rakes her fingers across the sliver of exposed skin where Veronica's top rides up. Veronica shivers in Toni's arms, rocking her hips as Toni deepens the kiss. None of them are sure who the moans belong to, the air around them thick and hot. Cheryl gives Veronica's hair an insistent tug, her eyes darkening as Veronica detaches her lips from Toni's turning her head to capture Cheryl's in a bruising kiss. Toni sucks and nips her way down Cheryl's neck, leaving her mark near her collarbone.

Cheryl writhes when Veronica nips at her lip, running her tongue over the spot begging for entrance which Cheryl instantly grants.

Veronica makes quick work of Cheryl's top tossing it somewhere behind her, and in a second refocuses her attention to eliciting shivers down Cheryl's spine. Her kisses become more insistent as Veronica trails her fingers along her collarbone. Cheryl uses all of her strength to roll them, pinning Veronica underneath her. Her moans are muffled against Cheryl's lips. Both of them fighting for dominance.

Stop. Using. Grundy. As. A. Tool. To. Hate. Archie.

You don’t like Archie? Fine. You don’t like barchie? Fine. You don’t like varchie? Fine. You don’t like that Archie has hooked up with multiple people on the show? Fine. But what’s NOT fine is mixing in Grundy with Betty, Valerie, Veronica, and Josie!

Granted the show was horrible at portraying it, Archie was statutory r*ped by Grundy. Archie was 15 when that story line took place. He was a minor and the relationship wasn’t consensual no matter if Archie said that Grundy didn’t force him to do anything. It’s a literal fact that their relationship was wrong.  

So go ahead and rant all you want about how much you dislike what’s going on with Archie and his story line. But please stop bringing Grundy into it unless you are going to talk about how he is a victim and how he is not to blame for what happened to him. It’s been 4 years and I am tired of seeing a bunch of you using this horrible situation to justify why you hate Archie or why one ship is better than the other.
