Being a hopeless romantic these days is looking at a guy’s post on instagram like Elizabeth bennet looked at Darcy’s portrait in Pemberly.

Can we talk about this scene in Hannibal, season 3, episode 1?
Planning his next “gift” to Will; folding the man into the shape of a heart, while Holy Mary watches over it.

Like every dps scene, I’ve watched this a million times and still find each boy’s positioning odd.
Meeks talking with Pitts and Knox is quite normal of course, and they’re in front of everyone else- the first to see Charlie coming. There are two other boys in the middle of the screen, yet my eye always fell on Todd, wearing only his shirt, hands in pockets, staring at Neil quietly. One has to pause the movie to notice Neil in the back, hidden from everyone, wearing dark clothes that make him blend in with the background, awkwardly scratching his head. Todd is standing next to the door to their room, but Neil is farther away than he should be while talking to him. Cameron is back there with them, yet it’s clear they’re looking at each other, without talking, standing too far away.
I don’t even know how to interpret this scene, but I’m pretty sure the positioning is like this on purpose, so that we can see Todd clearly, but not Neil.
(We can’t see Cameron either but who cares about that b!tch)

Thinking about how Neil says Puck’s line: “but, room, fairy! Here comes Oberon” just before he enters his dorm room where his father awaits. Oberon is Puck’s master. He controls him. And Neil is Puck and then his father appears-
