You sat at your window watching as the snow started to fall for the first time this year. You always loved snow, there was something so beautiful and peaceful about the way it fell from the sky and settled so perfectly. 

Finally checking the clock and seeing that it read 6:37 you let out a sigh and decided you couldn’t wait anymore. You tiptoed into the room that you shared with your currently sleeping boyfriend, hating yourself for what you were about to do.

“Baby… Channie…. It’s snowing” you kneeled on you side of the bed and whispered to the sleeping boy

He stirred slightly giving out a light grunt, scrunching his face clearly unhappy from being woken

“Channie… do you wanna build a snoooowman?” you quietly sang giggling

Chan finally gave you a sleepy smiling and pulled you into a hug, kissing all over your face

“You’re soooo lucky you’re cute or i’d kick your butt right now” 

“So is that a yes?!” you jumped up excitedly, you couldn't wait to get outside

“Okay fine I’m up!” Chan admitted defeat and slowly got out of bed. He knew how much you loved snow and he also knew that you loved lots of cuddles when you got back inside of the cold, that was his favourite part.

“Come on lets go!” you were currently dragging Chan by the hand out the door as he tried wrapping his scarf around his neck with his free one.

You finally let go when you opened the door and got a glimpse of the outside, everything was so clean and so white. You almost didn’t want to ruin it but you also knew the satisfaction of being the first to leave footprints of the freshly fallen snow.

You took a few steps, slowly making sure to leave perfect foot prints when you turned to your boyfriend only to see him run over to you squealing like a child holding a snowball behind his back

He revealed what he was hiding throwing it at you, hitting you on the arm with the snow

“CHAN! Oooooh it’s on!” you grabbed a bundle of snow and threw it at your boyfriend as he ran from you giggling 

You both ran around in the cold chasing each other, throwing balls of snow at each other laughing as you hit the other until chan tackled you to the ground surrounding you in snow.

“I love you” chan declared as he hovered over you staring into your eyes

You reached placing a small peck to his cold lips

“Come on lover boy, let’s make hot chocolate and cuddle?” you suggested knowing that was his favourite part about snow days

“Or we could stay here and make some snow babies?” he winked at you

You grabbed some snow and smushed into chan’s face making him get up

“Okay hot chocolate and cuddles it is” he scooped you up into his arms, you let out a little squeal as your boyfriend carried you into your apartment building ready to spend the rest of the day in his arms

minho's hands roam all over your body, his touches making your spine tingle. your hands tug on his hair and he groaned into the kiss. he pulls away just to look at you. your lips swollen, your hair a mess. he smirked before leaning to tilt your head to the side, attacking your neck, sucking on the skin. “Babe… baby… y/n!”

“Hmm?” you turned to your boyfriend, you were so in your head a million thoughts swirling around your brain you didn’t even notice him coming home

“What are you doing?” Chan raised his brow as he watched you sitting on your shared bedroom floor surrounded by bundles of clothes and a half packed suitcase at your feet

You didn’t know what to say, you didn't know if you could form a sentence right now. You couldn’t look at him, knowing that if you looked into those brown eyes that you loved so much that you would cave.

“I’m- i’m going home..” was all you could get out, you felt your throat burn and your chest start to tighten as you stared at your hands afraid to look anywhere else.

“What are you talking about? y/n you are home, what’s going on?” he kneeled beside you reaching for your hands

“No… I mean home home, back to my parents” the silence after your bombshell was deafening but you could swear you could hear your heart break 

“Chan I can’t do this anymore, I love you so much, more than you’ll ever know but I can’t do this. Stay hate me, they hate us together and I know how much they mean to you. I can’t come between you and the ones that made your dreams come true anymore” you were shaking, breaking your own heart and shattering Chan’s.

He was speechless, he didn’t know what to say. Chan sat back in total disbelief, he never thought in a million years that this would be the reason that he lost you.

“No. No this isn’t happening! You can’t leave, we'll make it work, I'll talk to stay, they'll listen, they know how much you mean to me. Please” He jumped to his feet picking up your suitcase and emptying the contents on the floor 

“Please y/n don’t leave me” Chan couldn’t hide it anymore, he couldn’t hide that his heart was breaking anymore. The tears started flowing at the thought of losing the person he loved most in the world.

The sight of the boy you loved breaking down in front of you was killing you, your chest was so tight you could barely breathe but you knew this was for the best, no matter how much it hurt both of you.

Every part of your body wanted you to wrap your arms around the boy and tell him that everything was going to be okay but you knew that you couldn't.

You’d been getting a lot of hate from Stay, something that usually didn’t bother you too much but recently it was worse than ever. Everytime you unlocked your phone there were comments calling you names, telling you that you didn’t deserve Chan and that he was better off without you. You started listening and convinced yourself that they were right.

Being with Chan caused a lot of problems. His fans hated you and the label didn’t like you together because they believed that you did more bad than good for him and the group's image. Whenever Chan’s room was live you could see all the comments telling Chan to break up with you and knew he did too.

You fought with yourself over and over and decided that it was better for everyone if you left, so that’s when you started packing your things ready to give everyone what they wanted. Everyone but Chan.

“This is for the best, trust me” you took Chan’s hands into your own and gave him one last kiss on the cheek

“I’ll pick up my things soon, I’ll see you around Bang Chan” and with that you walked out the door, breaking your own heart and taking Chan’s with you.

“Aw baby I love you t- wait what did you do?” he tried to peer round you to see what you were so desperate to hide from him.

You took his hands into your own, and looked up at the boy with you best puppy eyes

“Don’t be mad okay?” you pleaded and you slowly brought him into the room

Chan scanned the room trying to find something he could possibly be mad about until his sight landed on a small furry creature sleeping on the sofa

“IS THAT A PUPPY?!” he spun round in your direction, eyes ready to pop out of his face

“Ummm surprise!!!! Meet your son!” you picked up the sleeping puppy, bringing him to Chan 

“I can’t believe you y/n” he took the tiny dog from your arms into his own bringing him up to his face, getting a better look at the new addition. You started to panic that Chan was genuinely mad at you

“I can’t believe this… I’m a dad” he cuddled into the now awake puppy, who was just excited to meet Chan licking his face and wiggling around in his arms

“And before you ask.. No we can’t name him after Jeongin” 

“But y/n don’t you think he looks just like him” Chan pouted holding the new addition in the air.

You couldn’t help the massive grin on your face as you admired the sight in front of you, your happy little family was now a three.

First post, any feedback would be so much appreciated!

(this isn’t great i’m so sorry) You and Chan had been inseparable, you went everywhere together, you did everything together. He meant the world to you, he still does and always will but when Chan randomly started avoiding you and ignoring any form of contact you couldn’t wrap your head around it. You of course blamed yourself, with many sleepless nights racking your brain for what you did wrong but you never figured it out.

There was no build up or warning that it was coming, no signs of him getting fed up with you or growing tired of your friendship. You thought things couldn’t be better, that everything was perfect but Chan didn’t feel the same.

He couldn’t look at you without noticing how perfect your smile was every time you laughed, the way your eyes crinkled so much you could just slightly make out your eyes and the way that they always seem to be sparkling. He couldn’t help falling in love with your laugh and unique it was, well it's more like wheeze but he loved every second of it. 

Chan realising that he didn’t see you as just a friend hit him like a smack in the face and it terrified him, he didn’t know how to handle these feelings or how to tell you, if he would ever tell you. The thought of ruining years of friendship made him sick, the constant thoughts of “what if” going over and over in his head until he felt dizzy brought him to the conclusion that he can’t see you, not until these feelings pass, not until he knew we wouldn’t ruin everything. What he didn’t know what that there wasn’t a time that you weren’t in love with Chan.

It killed Chan to not answer your calls, seeing your face flash on his phone every time you called caused his chest to ache. He knew he was hurting you but he also knew this is what he needed. As the days went on and the calls became less frequent Chan thought he could start moving on but it just made him miss you more. 

It took Chan 2 months to crack, without even processing what his body was doing he was up on his feet and running out his door. In typical rom-com fashion of course it was raining as he got outside, and in typical rom-com fashion he didn’t care, he ran as fast as he could to your apartment. He knew this route like the back of his hand, he was pretty sure he could get there with his eyes closed.

Pounding on your door, Chan kicked himself for not even calling or checking you were home. He kept pounding on the door panicking that if you didn’t answer the door that this could be it, his only chance to fix things

“Come on y/n! It’s me please open the door p-please” he could feel his voice getting caught in his throat with every word as he begged you to open the door.

After what felt like hours you finally got the door opening it ever so slightly to find a soaking wet Chan, hair stuck to his face his clothes dripping with rain

“You’re a bit wet Chan”

No matter how hard he tried he couldn’t help but laugh, you were still you and boy did he miss you. 

“Can we talk? I need to explain I need to tell you why I n-need to fix things p-please i’ve missed you so much”

Chan begged you as his eyes started to fill with tears as he watched your face drop and it hit him that as much as he tried to convince himself he was doing the right thing all these months he was actually losing you with every second that passed.

You opened the door further and that’s when Chan noticed the spark had left your eyes, you looked exhausted and broken. He couldn’t hold it in anymore and the tears started to fall. 

“Are you coming in or are you going to stand in the rain all night?” you instantly regretted snapping at him but you couldn’t hide the hurt anymore.

Chan followed you in, looking around the familiar apartment. He couldn’t help picking up the photo of you both hugging, the biggest smiles on your face on the beach last summer. 

“Here take this, I don’t want you getting my couch wet” you chucked him a towel giggling ever so slight as it landed on his head

He followed you to the couch drying of his hair, dragging it out as long as possible before he had to explain and pour his heart out to you

“I missed you” you whispered, barely audible but Chan heard you he always did.

He didn’t even reply he just pulled you into his arms and you suddenly felt home, you always hear the phrase “home isn’t a place, it’s a person” but you always assumed it was a cheesy saying that stores sold to middle aged woman for their bathroom walls, little did you know that it perfectly summed up how Chan made you feel.

You could feel Chan’s heart pounding, yours was too. You hadn’t seen this boy in months, you convinced yourself he hated you but here you are in his arms as if nothing happened.

“I’m so sorry y/n I thought this would help but it made things worse I need to fix this I can’t lose you”

You pulled away, not understanding what he meant

“Help what? What do you mean? What did I do? Please just tell me what I did wrong to lose my best friend!” you couldn’t hide your emotions anymore, all the pain of the past few months fully visible as you bawled your eyes out

“What did you do?!” Chan cupped your face so you were looking directly at him

“y/n I don’t even know how to start apologising, I will never be able to put into words how sorry I am. I am so sorry babe I never meant to hurt you”

“Then why did you?” you breathed out, it felt like a punch in the gut to Chan

“I’m just gonna tell you this straight and I need to just get it out before you reply ok?”

You couldn't answer, you simple nodded hoping that was enough

“Ok��..ok we’ve been friends for years, best friends. You mean the absolute world to me but one day it hit me…. y/n I love you, I think i’ve always loved you”

You didn’t know what to do you sat there with Chan’s hands still cupping your face as he confessed

“I thought that it would ruin everything, I couldn’t lose you but I knew that if i confessed that I would. So I pushed you away, I ignored your calls and texts, I avoided you constantly in hopes that I’d get over this and I could be just your best friend again..”

“And did you?” you finally spoke up, Chan releasing you as you caught him off guard, shocked by your question 

“You honestly want to know the answer?” you nodded slowly edging him on

“I didn’t and I won’t.” you didn’t know what to say, your brain was screaming as you stared at your best friend.

“Ch-Chan…” you reached for his hand but were met with nothing as he stood from his seat, and began pacing infront of you

“y/n it’s okay you don’t need to say anything, you don’t even need to forgive me, oh my god I don’t deserve it what have I done y/n I’m so sorry I’ve ruined everything I tried so hard to not to bu-”

You followed Chan jumping out of your seat, having enough of his rant. You stood in front of him causing him to halt where he was.

You stood on your toes, putting your hands on his cheeks and brought his lips to yours.

Everything felt right. The past few months didn’t matter anymore; all of the hurt, the tears, the sleepless nights, the feeling of being lost was gone.

“I love you too” Chan was taken aback by your words, taking a second to process what you said. He picked you up and spun you around kissing you all over your face

“Chan stop!” he finally put you down grabbing your hands

“Ewwwwww I can’t believe you kissed me oh my god ew girl germs” he teased you

You slapped his arm, not being able to hide the smile on your face. The sparkle returning to your eyes and you looked up at your love.

“There she is, that’s my y/n”

“Daaaamn youre cheesy”

“Just for you baby, I don’t just run in the rain and declare my love for no one” he smirked

“I suppose you’re staying over then?”

“I’m not going anywhere, I’m never leaving you again”
