2025 has truly been the year of change and reinvention so far. So far this year I’ve begun my weight loss journey, taken up salsa dance lessons (lessons sadly ended last week but might sign up again), and as of today signed up for 200 hour yoga teacher training and later next month, swing dancing lessons!
I’m so excited to see what the rest of this year brings. Finding joy amidst all the chaos that has been the U.S is so important for my mental health, growth and well-being. Taking care of myself and showing up for myself will in turn involves me showing up better for others/my community. Here’s to more adventures, growth, self love, happiness, and community 💕

Getting back into the swing of things with day 11 of Rosie Grahams New Years Pilates Challenge and a 30 minute cardio session. I took about a week off from working out due to no real reason other than lack of motivation but I’m feeling much better, and look forward to keep reaching towards my goals and just enjoying the journey.

I decided to switch it up this morning with a new workout! I did Madeleine Abeid Pilates exercise and it was SO hard lol but I pushed through and completed it. Right now I’m obsessed with Pilates, it’s fun, challenging and works out muscles I didn’t even know existed! Tonight I’ll do my usual cardio and then Rosie Graham New Years 30 Day Challenge Day 8 ☀️

Morning workout complete! I only had time for MonikaFit exercise so later tonight I’ll do my 45 minute treadmill incline walk, another one of her workouts and then Rosie Graham 30 Day New Years Pilates Challenge. I’m feeling pretty motivated today and can’t wait to breeze through all my workouts and relax for the rest of the evening!

Had a really nice relaxing weekend and am ready for the week ahead! Saturday I started my morning with a GrowwithJo workout and that night I did my 45 minute incline treadmill walk paired with Day 3 of Rosie Graham New Years 30 Day Pilates Challenge.
Sunday I took a break from my morning workout to sleep in. I was so exhausted mentally and physically so I enjoyed a nice healthy breakfast in bed and read. But Sunday night I did my 45 minute incline walk and Day 4 of Rosie Graham New Years 30 Day Pilates Challenge. I noticed by Sunday I wasn’t as sore from her workouts and it seems to be getting a little easier for me! I’ve even noticed some physical changes already!
Yesterday (Monday) I started my morning with MonikaFit HIIT workouts and paired it with Day 5 of Rosie Graham New Years 30 Day Pilates Challenge and 45 minute walk. Last night her workout was so hard! It was all arms and I was dying lol. I typically hate working out my arms but I really enjoyed it and actually find myself excited to do her workouts!
I’ll update today a little bit later since I’m in my way to do a MonikaFit workout and get ready for work ☀️

Todays workouts consisted of: 5 am MonikaFit workouts and evening 45 minute incline treadmill walk paired with day 2 of Rosie Graham 30 Day Challenge(the New Year version) and honestly, doing that last workout definitely kicked my butt lol. I’m so sore from yesterday so it really impacted my second day of my Pilates workout but that’s okay I’m still enjoying the challenge and am growing more and more confident in my journey.

I didn’t have time to update anything the last 2 days but I’ve been doing great with my workout and healthy eating! I started my morning with a 20 minute HIIT workout. And my evening workout consisted of Rosie Graham 30 Day Pilates Challenge workout and 45 minute incline walk on my treadmill. Were all these workouts somewhat hard? Absolutely but it was so fun and it was crazy seeing how much stronger Ive gotten the past 2 or so weeks!
As for meals, I’ve been cooking a lot more, having zero fast food and drinking tons of water and I feel so much better than I did a month ago. My body feels lighter, I have more energy, I sleep all night, my nails are healthy and I just feel overall more happy and I love that! I just know I’m going to reach all my weight-loss and fitness goals in 2025 🧘🏽♀️

Woke up feeling more motivated this morning! Woke up at 5 am to get a workout in before work and since I was feeling better than the last 2 days, I decided to weigh myself (shouldn’t have since I did 5 days ago) and I’m up a pound and since my mind immediately went to restriction I knew that weighing myself is not a good idea. Right now I think I’m going to hold off and weigh myself once a month or something and if that still doesn’t work for me without getting hyper fixated then I’m going to only go off of non scale victories. I think it’ll be better and healthier for my mind and body 💕
