CHAPTER 𝐈𝐈.- 𝐑OMEO AND 𝐉ULIET
The gardens are beautiful.
They unfold like a painter’s dream. Ancient trees with branches that carry a centuries past in them, standing guard over flowerbeds that burst with vibrant colors and floral fragrances. The neatly trimmed grass stretches out like a velvet garden, reaching the Garden’s center where a large fountain is placed. It’s a marble masterpiece, one that depicts Lunaria’s King with a crown on his head and a cape around his shoulders. There’s winding paths which are lined with cobblestones(albeit worn smooth by countless footsteps as the sisters had always spent most of their time here). Here and there, statues of other important historical figures of Lunaria and some depicting Lunaria’s Magic. The sun filters through the leaves, making shadows dance upon the ground as the breeze gently carries delicate scents with it. The castle’s garden is not only a sight to behold, it is a place where time seemingly slows down and the outside world fades away. Leaving only the pure and serene beauty of nature’s embrace. The gardens have always been a sanctuary to them. A place where they could momentarily escape their responsibilities.
Yunabi leans down to smell the fresh roses. Her hair falls gently to her side, and Chaerin notices how her sister’s dark red hair is so much more visible in the sun. In the dark or the shadows, her hair looks black. But then- she’s there, standing right under the moonlight and you can see the maroon glow of her hair. It’s a sight that always catches Chaerin’s eyes. Chaerin knows her sisters are special. Very special indeed. She turns around as she hears Dohana shuffling behind her. And Chaerin can’t help but giggle when she realizes where her younger sister has ran off to. Amidst all of the colorful flowers, her sister stands right in front of her favorite ones, the ones she planted on her own. Lily of the valleys. They had always been Dohana’s favorite flowers. Come to think of it, they each had their own favorites. Dohana with her Lily of the valleys, Yunabi with her red roses, and Chaerin? Well she’d rather opt to sit under her favorite cherry blossom tree. She watches the way Dohana closely inspects the flowers, traces their petals with her fingertips. Chaerin bets that she will find her sister drawing them again later.
“Your Royal Highnesses! Your-Your Royal Highnesses!” A voice screeches out. The trio turn their heads at the same time as they watch one of the Royal Guards approach. He’s running to catch up to them, a little out of breath as he reaches them. The sisters do their best to not chuckle at him, opting to gracefully clasp their hands together and hear him out. Laughing at a poor guard is not graceful, they remind themselves silently. “The Queen and King- Oh..! I apologize…just- a second..!” Chaerin pretends to not notice the way Yunabi subtly rolls her eyes or how Dohana has to look away to force herself to stay serious. “It’s alright..take your time.” Chaerin speaks for them. The guard looks visibly embarrassed- or perhaps his face is just red from all the running. “The King and Queen..! They are calling for you, your royal highnesses!” Dohana shoots a look to her sisters. Chaerin closes her eyes and breathes in deeply.
Why would did they make the poor guard run out all the way to the gardens instead of just sending down a fireletter? That’s what I was thinking!!! Chaerin hears Dohana respond in her head. Guys, focus. Yunabi scolds them, reminding them to pay attention to the guard in front of them. Chaerin reopens her eyes, right as she breaks off the connection. The guard pretends not to notice how eerily quiet and focused they’ve gotten, chooses to lead them back into the castle instead. They’re all a bit upset about the slight intrusion. They’re normally never disturbed when they’re in the gardens. Chaerin shrugs off the thought, smoothing out her dress as she walks in front, next to the guard. Once they re-enter the throne room, Yunabi and Chaerin take a protective stance in front of their younger sister, just in case. It bothers Dohana sometimes, knowing she’s only a month younger than Chaerin. But Chaerin won’t let her forget that.
The Queen’s and The King’s expressions are..unreadable. As usual. Sometimes, Chaerin just wants to let her magic run free and look into their minds. But they’d notice. Of course they would. Dohana and Yunabi always know when Chaerin decides to sneak a peek into their minds, they’re all connected. Which means, King Kyungsoo and Queen Hyojin would know as well, as her parents. But a mere guard would not be able to notice it. Chaerin has misused this ability a few times before. She does not particularly feel bad about it. She gathers the courage to speak up, noticing how her Parents had not yet acknowledged them. “..Mother, Father..you asked for us?” Hyojin turns around slowly, as if waking from a trance. She takes hesitant steps towards her daughters, before she stands still in front of them. Inspecting each of them with a sharp gaze. “You three are not children anymore. You cannot just go and play out by the gardens. Look at the ends of your dresses…filthy.” The trio look down at their dresses, noticing how they were all lightly stained green. Freshly cut grass..Hyojin tuts at the sight of their sheepish expressions.
It almost makes her rethink her decision. Just one small part of her that thinks they are not ready. Too young. She quickly pushes those thoughts away. No. She had been even younger when she was forced to marry. Hyojin turns back around, returning to join her husband by his side again, sitting down on her own throne. She coughs, nudging her husband to speak. Kyungsoo slowly moves his gaze up, having previously been staring at the floor, lost in thought. Now, his gaze is fixed on them. But he doesn’t really seem like he’s..there. Like he’s actually about to talk to them. “There will be no war.” For a minute, a slight minute, everything is okay. Chaerin can feel the relief from her sisters, the way their shoulders slightly plummet. But nothing good ever lasts. She should’ve know. They should’ve known.
Kyungsoo is no longer looking at them. Hyojin’s gaze is much colder now as she watches her daughters get dragged out by the guards. “No…! No, Father please! You can’t do this to us! Please!” Chaerin yells out, fighting nail and tooth to get out of the guards hold. Dohana is still in shock, her hands shaking and eyes welling up with tears as the guard keeps tugging her out of the room. Yunabi is silently weeping beside them, though her eyes are even colder than Hyojin’s as she gives her parents a stare that seems to be fueled by rage and hatred. It is the last thing they see before Yunabi is dragged out, along with her sisters. Only thing left behind is a letter.
That damned black letter.

Moans and screams echoed throughout the forest as Heeseung digs his nails into her hips, pushing her against the tree with each thrust. Her moans annoy him, frustrate him even more which is not what he needs right now, so he clasps a hand over her mouth, hoping it’ll shut her up. “Stupid—Fucking—Bullshit!” Heeseung groans in between thrusts, growing more and more angry as he recalls what happened about an hour ago.
Heeseung stood at front, his brothers behind him as he frowned and scoffed. This must be a cruel, foolish joke. His parents would never do this, no. Not in a million centuries. “Marriage? The Lunaria family? What is this ab-“ Daeyong cuts him off quickly. “You are to be married to one of King Kyungsoo’s daughters and that is final. Do not make me repeat myself, boy.” Jaeyun steps up from behind him. He was always quick to defend his brother, something Heeseung was immensely grateful for. "Father, please. At least explain your actions to us-" Jaeyun too, is cut off mid sentence. "And two more of you will marry as well. Though Sejin and i have not decided who it will be, yet." Heeseung feels the rage boiling in his blood. Sejin does not turn to look at them from her spot. His hands curl into fists, nails dig into his skin. He can see Jungwon from his peripheral vision, the way he's about to open his mouth to argue back. Heeseung stops him before he can, shooting him a look and shaking his head. Jungwon frowns, but stands back. Knowing better than to not listen to his older brother. Heeseung tells them to leave room, albeit through their mental connection and not verbally. Jongseong, Jaeyun and Sunghoon are reluctant, but they follow their younger brothers out, leaving Heeseung behind with the King and Queen. Sejin finally turns around after taking one last look out the stained glass windows in the throne room. “King Kyungsoo has..well behaved daughters. One of them will suit to your liking, I’m sure. You will pick one of them.” Heeseung forces himself to stay calm. “This is ridiculous. You said we were winning the war-“ “There will be no more war, boy. Enough of that talk. Now stop arguing, you will marry one of Lunaria’s daughters. I do not care if you want to or not.” Heeseung wants to bite back, tell him that he technically isn’t arguing because they won’t let him speak but he doesn’t. Instead, he turns around and leaves, making sure to slam the long wooden doors behind him as he goes.
Arin moans into his hand, pushing her hips back into his. Heeseung can hear her mouth some words against his hand, so he pulls back a bit, calming down just enough to hear her out. “Wha- What happened- why’re you so— angry!” She slurs her words together. Heeseung rolls his eyes. Arin is like a toy to him. She works in the capital’s NightMoon Theater. She’s not royalty, not even part of the Elite. Heeseung met her after another argument between him and the King and Queen. He was frustrated, looking for a release or something to distract himself with. And she just happened to be there. She’s always available for him, never says no to him. Arin knows that Prince Heeseung does not have any personal or intimate feelings for her. She would be lying if she said it didn’t upset her, but being used by him is better than getting nothing from him, she figures. A small part of her still has hope. That maybe he’ll fall for her, maybe he’ll realize that she was the one for him all along. All that hope plummets once the Prince behind her opens his mouth. “Fuck—Marriage! Sejin..wants me to-Fuck!- Marry..!” Heeseung has pushed her so far against the tree, that she’s sure she’s gonna end up bleeding with the way the wood is digging into the flesh of her breasts and her cheeks. “B-But, that’s nothing new!” She whines. Heeseung replies with one word only before she starts to speed up even more. “Lunaria.” Arin has no time to question him, his thrusts becoming more aggressive and faster by the second until he finally reaches a climax. Arin doesn’t come to her pleasure, but it’s okay. It doesn’t matter. Or at least that’s what she tells herself when Heeseung carelessly lets go of her, making her fall to the grassy floor underneath their feet. Arin slowly pushes her dress back up as Heeseung reaches for his pants. He hadn’t undressed at all, while Arin was left completely naked.
It was like that, often. “What…what did you mean with Lunaria?” Heeseung rolls his eyes as he dusts himself off. “I have to marry one of Lunaria’s daughters. This might be the last time we see each other.” What. Arin pushes herself back up as fast she can with her wobbly legs. “wha-“ “Clean yourself up before leaving the forest. And wait at least 15 minutes before you come out, gotta make sure we’re not seen together, remember?” Heeseung calls out as he makes his way out of the darkened forest. Arin feels her heart shatter, all that glimmer of hope that once was, is now gone. Dimmed out. She mindlessly pushes down on the fresh bruises littering her skin, though she knows they won’t be there for long. In about ten minutes, they’ll be gone. The last traces of heeseung she has. Sometimes she wishes she wasn’t a vampire, just so she’d have at least some proof of heeseung on her body.

The ride is painfully long and the silence is deafening, as strange as it sounds. The two families have agreed upon meeting on neutral grounds. Neutral grounds are designated places between all kingdoms, where the representatives of said Kingdoms can meet to discuss their issues. These areas are protected by powerful enchantments to ensure safety and neutrality. A known neutral ground for example, is Crystal Grove. A serene and magical place where no violence can occur. Crystal Grove was a spot between Decelis, Lunaria and Sylphoria, mainly situated next to Sylphoria’s borders. Sylphoria’s residents made it a priority to keep Crystal Grove alive and well, nourishing the place with their own magic to make sure its safety precautions would stay up.
No sounds apart from the two horses that were carrying the two carriages. The Queen and King sat in front of their three daughters. The girls did not dare to look up and meet their eyes, fearing they’d catch a glimpse of the tears that were threatening to spill out. Yes. They were not children anymore. But this was too sudden. A step you were meant to take in adulthood, mostly out of love. Mostly when you’re ready. They weren’t. They were not ready. The past few days were spent with cries and begging, prayers falling on deaf ears. The King and Queen would not listen. But the girls were relentless, which resulted in them being forced to stay in their chambers for the remaining days till the meeting between the families. Dohana spent her time drawing away, though her paintings would no longer be about her favorite flowers, no. Now, her paintings seemed to represent her rage and her sorrow. The soft pinks and blues had been switched for the darkest of blacks and the angriest of reds. Chaerin figured that she was trying to cope that way. Yunabi kept quiet, mostly, She had always been a quiet girl, keeping to herself. But she would turn into a chatterbox with her sisters. Yunabi joined Dohana when she was painting, sometimes. And her paintings were just as dark as hers. Though Yunabi’s paintings had portrayed less anger, and much more sorrow. And Chaerin?
Chaerin felt fear. Chaerin felt anger. Chaerin felt sadness. And she was pretty damn sure that her sisters felt it too. They would not admit it. She knows they wouldn’t. But she can feel it. She can see it. An observant child, she had always been. She has read between the lines of their paintings and their words. They are scared. Just as scared as she is. And they have every reason to be scared, even with their unique power. The Decelis family has always been known to be cunning, manipulative. And their hunger for power has been more evident than anything. Their borderline tyrannical ruling. They’ve all heard the stories about King Daeyong and Queen Sejin. Ruthless and Merciless Monarchs. It leaves chaerin with the bitter question of; Are their sons the same? Will she have to marry a savage vampire whose appetite never disappears? There’s only been a few stories shared about the Decelis Princes. Chaerin can vaguely recall some of them. But what she does remember, is that they are pure-blooded vampires.
Pure-blooded ones. The ones who have inherited their species full abilities. Not missing one or two, not having their abilities dimmed out. Pure. Blooded. Vampires. It’s not discrimination. All are accepted, at least now. Hybrids, Pure-bloods and the like. Chaerin and her sisters are pure-blooded, as well. Yes, pure-blooded witches. Witch-hybrids don’t have full access to their magic. They have to channel it or draw it out from something else. Pure-blooded ones don’t have to. They have that magic within. They have much more power. Raw power, that simply flows through their veins. It’s an..indescribable feeling. The way it flows through you, perhaps like electricity in your veins. A rush like no other. Was it the same for pure-blooded vampires? What did..blood taste like, to them? Chaerin quickly shook her head. This is all she had been doing lately. Question everything. Torture her own mind. Suffer in silence. Her only solace being the moon. It was always so bright and beautiful in Lunaria, especially with the stars that came with it. But she figures that the moon must look beautiful everywhere, right? How beautiful the moon must be in all the other Kingdoms. Is it beautiful in Decelis, too? The Kingdom with no sun. The moon shines forever there. She would miss the sun. Chaerin cannot imagine herself living there. Or her sisters for that matter.
“Fix your crowns.” Hyojin speaks. It’s the first thing she’s said to them for the entirety of this Carriage ride. A comment about their appearances, of course. Chaerin fixes hers and watches as Yunabi and Dohana help each other. Hyojin keeps a watchful eye on them. Kyungsoo keeps his gaze out the windows, lost in thoughts only he could understand. The rest of the carriage ride is engulfed in silence again.
Tumblr media
They were just about to enter Crystal Grove when Hyojin suddenly halted. The girls stopped in their tracks, too, their breaths hitching in anticipation. With a careful turn, Hyojin faced them, her gaze piercing as she circled around each one. Her sharp eyes going over every detail, ensuring that they looked absolutely perfect for the occasion ahead. This, they knew, was one of the most critical meetings of their lives. The future of Lunaria and Decelis rested heavily upon their shoulders. Upon this meeting. Finally, she nodded in approval, a small but significant gesture that allowed the girls to release the breath they had been holding. Hyojin joined her husband by his side again as they continued their walk towards the entrance to Crystal Grove, each of their steps echoing out.
Special custom-made dresses were created, just for this occasion. These gowns were not merely beautiful; they were the epitome of luxury and elegance. Crafted from the finest purple satin, each dress shimmered with a royal aura, yet showcased unique designs that highlighted the individuality of the girls. Patterns of golden embroidery adorned the fabric, catching the light with every movement and adding a touch of elegance to the already ethereal garments. The gowns flowed gracefully as they walked. Complementing these dresses were crowns made of the purest gold, each set with amethyst gemstones that glinted like stars caught in a golden net. The crowns were carefully crafted to fit perfectly, their weight a reassuring reminder of the heritage and responsibilities that came with them. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, as they say.
By the time they enter Crystal Grove, the Forest, the Decelis family has already been seated at a large golden table in the center. The world around the three girls comes to a halt for a minute. There they are. The Decelis princes, in all of their glory. Each of them adorned with a beautiful navy blue suit and golden crowns sitting atop of their heads. They look just as miserable as the girls do. They do not want this. That much is clear, Chaerin quietly notes to herself. She catches the eyes of one of the brothers, though she does not know which one of them he is. A silver haired boy with cold, icy cold eyes. He’s glaring at her. As if she’s the one who personally put him up to this. She does not like him, Chaerin concludes. Completely unaware that she was looking at her future husband. She does not notice the sneering looks her sisters give the boys at her sides. So they walk until they reach the long, golden table, and they take a seat opposite to the boys. The chairs next to the three girls, are empty. The Queen and King opting to sit opposite from the Decelis Monarchs, at the other end of the table. Chaerin can still feel the gaze of that silver haired boy on her. She digs her nails into her thighs and forces herself to not meet his eyes again. She does not want that.
“We are pleased that you were all able to make it here, safely.” Queen Sejin speaks first, after an evident and long silence. “Thank you. So are we.” Queen Hyojin responds. Their words lack any warmth as they continue exchanging pleasantries, merely said to show respect and get to the actual topic of this meeting. The Kings seem to stare each other down, staying quiet while the Queens talk. Then, suddenly, King Daeyong speaks up. “Our son, Heeseung. He will marry first.” Chaerin notices the silver haired boy sharply turn his head towards the King. So that must be Heeseung. He looks like he wants to say something, but he simply turns the other way and nods at King Kyungsoo. “Who is your eldest?” Queen Sejin asks, and Chaerin sees the way Yunabi tenses up at the question. Hyojin notices, but chooses to seemingly ignore it. “They are all of same age. Merely a few months apart.” Chaerin can feel it, their confusion. But they too, choose to ignore this detail. “119 years old. Yunabi is our oldest. Dohana, our youngest.” Heeseung looks entirely uncomfortable now as Hyojin adds. Sejin looks the two girls up and down before she shakes her head and points at chaerin. The little brunette seated right between them.
“Her.” Chaerin wants the earth beneath her to open up and swallow her whole. She tenses up, accidentally meeting Heeseung’s eye. He doesn’t look uncomfortable anymore, but he’s back to glaring at her. Queen Sejin stands up from her seat, her long, dark and extravagant gown trailing behind her as she walks towards the young brunette. Chaerin swallows down the lump in her throat, quickly dropping her gaze while Heeseung continues to stare at her. Sejin places a hand on the girls shoulder, and lifts her chin up with the other. Turning the girls head to examine both sides before she nods and smiles in satisfaction. “Ah, yes. You are an adorable one..you shall go well with my Heeseung.” Sejin drops the girls head and Chaerin can feel the tears prickling at her eyes. Heeseung is still staring at her, though when she looks up at him through her lashes, his gaze is no longer cold. She can’t quite read his emotions as she stares into his red eyes, but he isn’t glaring at her anymore.
Sejin takes a step to the right, now standing behind Dohana. She repeats the process, though this time she reaches for a strand of the girls hair. “How..peculiar..” She twists the red strand of hair around her fingers before she straightens up, gazing over her sons. Then she points her fingers at a boy with wide eyes and black hair with white strands in them. “Jungwon, my ever so obedient son. She will be your wife. What was your name again, dear?” Sejin asks as she looks back down at the redhead. “..Dohana.” The girl replies. Chaerin and Yunabi both take notice of how quiet her voice is, how timid she seems all of a sudden. It breaks their hearts to see their own sister like this. Sejin smiles and pats the girls shoulder before she walks to the left, now to Yunabi. “Ah..also a redhead? Though..yours is darker, is it not?” Sejin asks as she twists a strand of Yunabi’s hair. Yunabi visibly shudders, but regains her composure and simply nods. “Not so talkative, are you my dear?” Sejin replies mockingly. She points a finger at a raven haired boy. “Riki, my darling boy. It is time for you to grow up. Perhaps a marriage will put an end to your childish ways.” The boy takes one look at Yunabi, his eyes lingering on her before he drops his head. He doesn’t look at anyone else.
The air is tense. King Kyungsoo and King Daeyong nod at each other in approval. Hyojin claps her hands together and a few guards bring over a stack of papers to the table. Probably papers to approve the marriage. The Paper is passed between the Monarch, and the three now newlywed couples. Niki only keeps his sharp eyes on Yunabi, a look that she wordlessly returns. Jungwon’s gaze keeps flickering back to Dohana, though it seems like he doesn’t want her to catch on to his staring. Dohana does the same, only stares at him when he isn’t looking. Heeseung avoids looking at Chaerin all together, a gesture that the brunette girl gladly returns.
It is Night when they arrive back at Lunaria. The daughters hurry to their bedchambers, even though they can hear the King and Queen call out to them. Albeit they’re all tired and exhausted, worn from the long journey. So the King and Queen let them go. Once they’re back up in their bedchambers, Dohana and Yunabi climb into Chaerin’s Queen-sized pink bed. They sit in silence for a while, before Dohana hesitantly speaks up. “..What if we run away?” “They’ll find us, catch us, we’ll be punished and still forced to marry.” Chaerin responds quickly, pulling her knees close to her chest. Yunabi sighs. The silence returns. They all fall asleep together that Night, in Chaerin’s bed.

CHAPTER 𝐈. - 𝐄MPIRES.
The Horses wail out, swords slicing through their matted fur. A knight falls to the muddied ground, screaming out in pain as blood gushes out of his chest. Another crumbles up the last picture he has of his wife before his hands are sliced off. Battle cries echoed across the war-torn field, a cacophony of despair and rage. The steel armor that once symbolized protection now seemed futile against the relentless onslaught. This was one of the most devastating wars in history—Lunaria against Decelis. What began as a mere trading dispute had escalated into a full-scale war, sparked by Lunaria’s refusal to cooperate with the vampire-ruled kingdom. Now, the battlefield was littered with the bodies of both vampires and witches, their lives extinguished in a senseless conflict. The sight was horrifying. Pools of crimson blood stained the earth, and the air was thick with the stench of death. Vampires, driven to madness by the bloodlust, attacked anything that moved, their fangs sinking into flesh with feral intensity. Witches, their faces contorted with fury, chanted spells of death, their magic crackling through the air and striking down foes with lethal precision. This was exactly why the Pax-Declaration had been created and signed by all eight kingdoms—to prevent such wars, to unite all species in peace and cooperation. But now, Lunaria and Decelis were breaking the sacred vow they had sworn to uphold.
That was two months ago now, The Twilight war. That’s what all the Kingdoms called it. The devastating news having made its way all across to Eldoria through the Nereidian Sea and its Kingdom. Though it felt like the War happened just yesterday, with the scars of the war’s atrocity still fresh and the two Kingdoms struggling to rebuild themselves. Both Kingdoms had essentially lost, even though Decelis had hit a much bigger low than Lunaria. Both Kingdoms had lost, with too many of their own people dying due to their conflict. These once proud cities and kingdoms now grew seemingly quiet in the aftermath of all the devastation, a shadow of their former glory haunting the citizens and most importantly the Monarchs. The war had only been halted through the timely intervention of Lycanvale and Sylvanis, who had to combine forces to broker a fragile ceasefire. The sons of Lycanvale and the fighters from Sylvanis had fought relentlessly for that. The Council of Elders has been working tirelessly to restore order and determine a punishment for Decelis and Lunaria, leaving the Monarchs of both Kingdoms in absolute fright as they anticipated the consequences.
The Council of Elders has always been harsh and brutal with their punishments. And it was to no surprise, knowing that the Council was made up of all the Elders and Absolute’s of each of the Eight Kingdoms, absolute’s meaning an even higher position than a monarch. And the Elders have always only had one singular goal they focused on- to maintain order and peace between all eight Kingdoms at any cost. So now they were relentless, holding heated discussions and solemn debates on how to move forward, on what would be the best path to ensure a conflict like this would never happen again. Needless to say, they had to take a lot of time to gather perspectives, to consult with all leaders and to find a balance between justice and mercy. Though Mercy was an unknown word to the Eldorian Council.
Eldoria had been the first kingdom to ever be made, the creatures in its land being the very first to appear on Earth. Ranging from Dragons to Cyclops and to the first human-shaped beings. All species originated from Eldoria, or at least their roots reached back to Eldoria. It was then, when the first most devastating war had happened, leading to the existence and making of the Eight Kingdoms and the Pax-Declaration. And the punishment for the instigator, Nereidia, was severe. Its first Monarchy being slaughtered and exiled in cold blood. Nereida had not always lied underwater either. That was another punishment from the elders of Eldoria. The ‘War of Wrath’ had been so devastating that it had torn through the Earth itself. It was then, when it was decided that the different species needed their own kingdoms, parts of land where they could live amongst their own kind, or a species similar to their own kind.
Now, the people of Lunaria and Decelis were slowly but surely trying to piece their lives back together. Families mourned their lost loved ones, and communities worked together to rebuild homes and the rest of their infrastructure. It was a devastatingly dark time for the two kingdoms. And the monarchs of both Lunaria and Decelis could not have it. Mainly because they feared what the Elder Council would do to them, for not having complied to such a sacred declaration.
Queen Sejin stood behind the large black throne that her Husband sat on. Both of their faces looked solemn and grim. Sejin and Daeyongs rein had brought in a new era for the Kingdom, providing the land with the stability it needed, especially with their wisdom and strength as they were the Eldest vampires apart from the Absolutes of the Kingdom. They had ascended to the throne centuries ago, uniting the fragmented vampire clans under their rule and creating a safe space for vampire hybrids as well. Even with being immortal, the Monarchs had always wanted to ensure that the next to their Throne would be someone that they chose. But they did not want it to just be anyone, no. The couple decided they would adopt seven orphaned children, who were found right on the borders between Decelis and Lycanvale. And upon having a few testings done, they had found out that these seven little boys were pure blooded vampires. A very important aspect in almost every kingdom. The pure blooded ones. The ones who had not mixed with any other species, ever. It was an entirely rare thing nowadays. It was decided right then and there. These boys would be the sons of the Decelis Monarchs, and through that, the only heirs to the Throne for the Decelis Kingdom.
The seven brothers had always been very..peculiar. Prince Heeseung is the first in line to the Throne, being the eldest of all the boys with his 121 years. Next, followed Prince Jongseong, Prince Jaeyun and Prince Sunghoon. All aged 120 years old. Then followed Prince Sunoo, Prince Jungwon and Prince Riki, all aged 119 years old. God, they were handsome. Although, in truth, handsome was not enough to describe their beauty.
Prince Heeseung was a man that had always been admired. The way he took on the troubles of his role so effortlessly, and the way he had the strength to keep up with the harsh parenting that the Queen and King often gave him. Though all the boys must have a very special strength for having stood fast against the harshness of their Childhood and upbringing. The boys were blessed with their very own abilities, different to other vampires. Which meant they had one additional ability to the rest of their usual vampiric abilities, as well as having those be a bit more upgraded than the rest of their kind. For Heeseung, it was Psychic Communication and Telekinesis. For Jongseong, it was Illusional magic. For Jaeyun, pyrokinesis. For Sunghoon, shape-shifting. For Sunoo it was levitation, For Jungwon it was teleportation and for Niki it was invisibility. All abilities that other vampires did not possess. Needless to say, there are plenty of reasons why no one dares to say anything or try anything against the Decelis Family.
“The people are still expecting a public appearance. They want a speech. An explanation.” Queen Sejin spoke quietly. She placed a hand on the Kings shoulder, who did not bother to look up at her. Keeping his gaze fixated on the window and the scenery that laid behind. Arms spread out on his Throne, his eyes darkened at her words. “To hell with them. I do not have to explain myself to anyone.” King Daeyong answered coldly. The queen tutted, slowly walking in front of him and blocking his view. The King slowly looked up at her, his harsh gaze slowly but surely fading. “We will fix this. You know we will. And once we do, we will once again prove to everyone just why we’re in power and why we always will be. This is our chance, don’t you see it my king? Our chance to prove to the pesky other Kingdoms just why we are superior. We can..manipulate this situation, to our liking.” She purred, as the King slowly smirked up at her. “What are you proposing, my Queen?” Sejin laughed, slowly seating herself down on her Kings lap as she smoothed out her long black dress, her hands clasping around his neck. “A way to gain just a little more control and power..my King.”
Tumblr media
Queen Hyojin stood tall in front of the Throne, her eyebrows furrowed as she scoffed at the King. “Can you believe it? They’re saying that we’re responsible for the War. That it was because we refused to cooperate with them.” King Kyungsoo smirked at his Wife. “But we are responsible. We did refuse to cooperate.” Hyojin shot him a warning glare as he continued. “And I will continue to refuse cooperation with those Vampire Scums. They murdered our people- no, they tore into them like wild, feral beasts. And that is all that they will ever be. Why should I try to be civilized with filthy animals like them?” Kyungsoo chuckled, though it did not sound like laughter, more like a mockery. Hyojin sighed, holding her head up high to make sure her crown would not fall.
Lunaria has always been an exceptionally stable kingdom. In Lunaria, magic is not just a tool but a way of life, seamlessly integrated into every aspect of daily existence. With a whispered incantation, any problem, no matter how complex, can be resolved in an instant. This magical prowess has proven invaluable countless times, making Lunaria a land where magic flows as freely as the rivers and streams. Lunaria is nestled right between Sylphoria and Decelis. It shares a vast, enchanted Forest with Sylphoria, and its southern border for trade routes with Decelis. Lunaria takes immense pride in its reputation as the Kingdom’s history and legacy is one of resilience and triumph. A testament to the power and potential of magic when it is wielded with courage and wisdom. And the Lunaria Family, the longest line of rulers in the Kingdom, has always placed the importance on their reputation.
Queen Hyojin and King Kyungsoo ruled their Kingdom with absolute precision. But it was not tyrannical, no. Not like the Decelis Monarchs. The Lunaria Monarchy had been the only Family in line to the throne, always. Their rules had been set for the Kingdom since the Kingdom itself was created. For the people of Lunaria, there was no one else to listen to. It was and simply would always be the Lunaria Family. Queen Hyojin and King Kyungsoo. Their rulers. No matter if people did not always agree with their opinions, their rules, beliefs or actions. There was simply nothing else. The Lunaria’s were the Law and you could never go against the law. That was simply it. That was their Monarchy. Something that simply was and always would be. This would never change. So there was no other option but to simply accept their reign and succumb to their rules. It was submitting or being exiled. And no one wanted an Exile. After all, where are witches supposed to go?
Lycanvale? With those filthy and wild werewolves? The very thought of those untamed creatures was repulsive to witches. They would not survive underwater in Nereidia, the aquatic environment being entirely unsuitable for anything that isn’t merfolk or breathes underwater. Aetheria was a Kingdom located up higher than the mountains and strictly only for spirits or spiritual beings, Witches with their earthly ties, would be out of place in that lofty domain. Sylvanis is a no, the Elves would not let regular witches channel their nature to perform their magic. They’d view it was a violation to their sacred lands. Eldoria was a definite no as well, none of the Kingdoms ever truly interacted with Eldoria itself, or its people for that matter. Eldoria is an isolated land, a kingdom that has become an enigma to the rest. Its inhabitants are reclusive, and the kingdom itself is placed much further away than the others, making it an impractical choice for witches seeking refuge. Sylphoria is..only a maybe. Fairies do not exactly hate witches, but they do not like them either. The relationship between the two is complicated, marked by a history of mistrust and misunderstandings. Fairies are known for their trickster nature, and witches, who are already wary of their own kind, find it challenging to coexist with beings who share similar traits.
There is no other place for Witches, Sorcerers and the like. Only Lunaria, only Lunaria. It is a mantra that the citizens repeat to themselves daily. All of it is ironic, in a way. Lunaria always fought back against the rules set out for them, demanding a change. But they would not allow their own citizens to demand anything from them. Well, every Kingdom has it’s flaws, right? The sounds of heels clacking against the stone floors interrupted the Monarchs. Chaerin smoothed out her long white dress as she bowed before the King and Queen, standing in front of her other two sisters. Queen Hyojin narrowed her eyes at her daughters. “And?” She asked. Yunabi quietly spoke up. “..We took care of it.”
It, being a public appearance down in the capital of Lunaria. Chaerin, Yunabi and Dohana were feared yet adored by the citizens. With their angelic features yet sharp personalities, it was clear that they were Lunarian royalty. Well, they also looked quite special. Something about their..aura, was simply different. It always had been. Dohana with her bright red hair, a stark contrast to Yunabi’s dark red hair. And chaerin, a full odd one out with her short brown curls. No, they did not look like the King and Queen’s biological children. But they were. Or at least that’s what everyone thinks and knows.
Kyungsoo smiles at his daughters, although the smile clearly lacks warmth. “I’d hope so. It was a mere public appearance and a stupid little speech. That’s all that was expected of you.” Hyojin took a step closer to the girls. “Run along then. I suppose you three are not expecting a thank you for fulfilling your duties.” Dohana opened her mouth, almost as if to say something, but quickly dropped it again as both Chaerin and Yunabi held her back, a warning flashing in their eyes as they stared back at their younger sister. Dohana was the youngest of the trio, being born in the month of July. Chaerin follows next, the June child. Leaving Yunabi as the eldest as she was born in January. Though it was a mere few months, the girls were all about a strong 119 years old now. Witches age slow. Especially pure-blooded ones, and especially ones of the Lunarian Family. Kyungsoo and Hyojin are immortal. A trait that vaguely carried onto their daughters. Perhaps that explains their somewhat unusual looks for a trio of witches. Or at least that’s what they tell themselves.
No one actually..knows.
Chaerin and Yunabi tug at their sisters hand as they make their way back to their bedchambers as they crossed the Castle’s hallways. Yunabi nudged at Chaerin’s shoulder, signaling at Dohana’s very evident sad mood. Chaerin sighed, halting as she took her sister’s face into her hands. “C’mon…Hana, you know how they are.” Yunabi ruffled her hair. “It’s fine. They’re..you know that they only mean well.”
It was a lie. And they all knew it. But it is always easier to live in ignorance. After all, ignorance is bliss, right? As the three daughters made a beeline for the Gardens instead, hoping to lift their spirits by taking a walk, a guard rushed past them. They brushed it off, it was nothing unusual to them.
Queen Hyojin turned around, her eyes narrowing at the guard that came running into the ballroom, clutching a black letter in his sweaty and shaking hands. “My-My queen! My king! A letter! A letter..!” Kyungsoo scoffed, rolling his eyes as the pathetic guard fought to catch his breath again. “A…letter! From..Decelis!” The King quickly jumped up from his Throne, his hands clenching into fists at his sides. Hyojin snatched the letter out of the guard’s hands as she frowned, inspecting it. Kyungsoo joined her side as she slowly opened the letter and the guard retreated, knowing he was not allowed to stay during moments like these. The King let out a sharp breath as he tried to process the information he was reading, his Wife next to him also left astounded.
King Kyungsoo and Queen Hyojin,
We believe that you are well aware of the Elder Council currently evaluating our kingdom’s punishments. And we all know, that the Elder Council will not take kindly to what we have done. They will not show us mercy. That is, unless, we fix this ourselves, before they can. We kindly request a meeting on neutral grounds to discuss a solution that could benefit us all. A loophole in our law, and a way to ensure that the Elder Council will get what they want, without having to give out a consequence. A marriage. Your daughters and our sons. We hope to receive a letter from you soon,
King Daeyong and Queen Sejin.

ENH. ONESHOT.
“FEVER.”
PLOT: The vampire brothers Jungwon, Heeseung and Niki are caught by surprise when a group of hunters show up at their nest, while the rest of their brothers are out fetching new blood bags from the city. Barely making it out, they’re all left with wounds they can’t seem to heal. The hunters have evolved, and so have their weapons, now laced with something that slows down their vampiric healing, the brothers conclude. So they turn to the only people who might able to help them. The three little witches who hide in the darkest corners of the Forests.
pairings: dohana x jungwon, yunabi x niki, chaerin x heeseung
warnings: erm curse words…blood, wounds and ect..I’m going back to my roots…#lol oh and lowkey smut!!

Niki scratched at his throat, his fingers still covered in blood as he coughed out. A hand reached out to him and he turned around, seeing Jungwon narrow his eyes at him. “You okay?” Jungwon asked, gently pressing down on the boys shoulder. Niki nodded, still coughing before he had cleared out his throat enough to answer. “I- I think so. What the fuck did they put in those guns? What was that powder?” Heeseung sighed, clutching his side as blood continued to spill out of the bullet wound.
About an hour ago, they had been attacked. By a group of eight hunters. None of them were even sure how these hunters had managed to find their nest, they’d been hiding there for over a few years now with no issues at all. Shots were fired through the old building’s windows, before the long black doors had been forced open, the hunters were rushing inside and shooting at anything that moved. Fortunately and unfortunately, it was only these three at the nest today, the rest having gone out to fetch more blood bags. They were clearly outnumbered. But still, they fought. Tearing into each of the hunters with such brutal force, that they could still vaguely recall the taste of human flesh between their teeth. Yes, they had manage to kill all of the hunters but the shots had gotten to them. And it seemed like they hadn’t used regular wooden bullets or stakes like they used to, no. It’s been about an hour now since that attack happened, and none of them had healed yet. Fresh cuts and bruises still visible on their faces, remnants of a purplish powder around their eyes and mouths. Heeseung was even suffering from a bullet wound. That powder wasn’t anything they could recognize, it was thrown into the building from all sides, along with the bullets. Niki still felt the sting from when the powder had first entered his airways- a sharp sting that made him feel unbelievably warm in about a few seconds, slowly impacting his vision as well. He could tell that his brothers were still suffering from the aftermath of whatever the hell that was, too.
So here they were.
Jungwon sighed, shrugging before he winced and fell down next to niki on the grass. They had run off to the forests, one near the building they’d previously stayed in. It was an old abandoned building, about a few hours away from the city. They didn’t want to live too close with the humans, they preferred living in more quiet and remote areas. It’s how they’ve lived for many centuries now. They also didn’t want to risk exposure, knowing that the number of hunters everywhere was slowly increasing. “I don’t know, but whatever it is-was, it’s nothing good. Our wounds aren’t healing like they’re supposed to.” Jungwon swiped a finger across his face before he took a look, noticing that his finger was now coated with a thin layer of fresh blood. Yeah, even a small cut on his cheek wasn't healing. Heeseung sighed, still clutching his side as he leaned against a tree. “I'm not too sure either- but it definitely wasn't vervain. It didn't burn our skin when it landed on us. I mean shit, i think I've still got some of that powder on my fucking face.“ Niki sighed, clawing at his shirt. It was hot. Too hot. Drops of sweat were slowly starting to coat his face.
“So what are we gonna do?“ Jungwon groaned, trying to fish out his phone from his back pocket. “We definitely have to warn the rest of us about the attack. But i don't think we should wait here for them, we have to figure out what's going on with us.“ The boy opened his phone, his blood coated fingers clumsily swiping over the screen as he searched for their group's chat. Heeseung sighed before he spoke up. “Yeah. We can't wait for ’em. That bullet is pretty damn close to digging into my heart. Just warn the others- tell ’em to head to thebunker“ Jungwon looked up, tilting his head at the older boy. “Shit. Almost forgot about that.“ He dropped his head again, typing out a quick message to the rest of the boys. Niki hesitantly spoke up. “So..what are we gonna do now? We have no idea what this shit is. How are gonna figure it out?“ Jungwon slipped his phone back into his pocket before he replied. “Whatever was in that powder, must've been involved with magic of some sort. Only human or man-made thing that usually can harm us, is wood or vervain. But this wasn't either of those things. That bullet-“, jungwon pointed at heeseung’s wound, “must've been laced with something, making it unable for you to heal at all. Normally, your other wounds should've healed at least, your cuts or your bruises. But they're not healing. Mine aren't either, or Niki's for that matter.“ Niki turned to the side, narrowing his eyes. “so you're saying those hunters reached out to witches?“
Heeseung groaned, running a hand through his hair. “it's possible. Jungwon’s right. Magic must’ve been involved, which means a witch was involved.“ Niki furrowed his eyebrows, staring back up at heeseung. “So the fuck are we supposed to do?“ Silence filled the air, Jungwon stared up at the older boy with a knowing look in his eyes. “It's witch business. So we consult a witch.“
Niki groaned, dropping his head back.

The trio trudged along the muddied path that lead them further into the woods, the area around them slowly darkened. The moon shined down through a few cracks between the tall trees. Luckily, the boys didn't need light to see. Their vampirism allowed them to see in the dark, making their vision sharp and clear even in the shadows, especially as creatures of the night.
A sign on one of the trees made the boys halt for a minute.
TURN BACK NOW IF YOU WANT TO LIVE. EVIL IS AHEAD.
Niki rolled his eyes, scoffing before he spoke up. “Are they seriously still pulling this shit?“ Jungwon shrugged, eyeing the sign. “It’s just to keep the humans away“ Heeseung chuckled. “Like that actually fucking works.“ Jungwon shrugged again. “Well they've never been attacked by the hunters, or had humans trying to break into their home. Maybe we should set up a sign too.“ The two boys chuckled, shaking their heads as they continued to walk forward, passing the sign. Jungwon eyed the sign one last time before he joined them, venturing further and further into the woods with his brothers.
The darkened woods slowly opened up, the previously dried up trees and muddied paths were now slowly being replaced by rose filled bushes and green, freshly cut grass. A neat path that lead to a big cottage in the middle of the woods, surrounded by stone walls and a black fence for the entry way. A fence that was now agape, left open. Heeseung rolled his eyes at the sight of it all. “They made the rest of the forest look dark and scary just to end up with a cutesy, flowery cottage?“Jungwon and Niki chuckled, shaking their heads. “They've always been weird.“ Jungwon furrowed his eyebrows. “Dude we're literally vampires. We can't judge others for being weird.“ Niki shrugged. “Speak for yourself.“ Heeseung stopped their banter by limping forward and pressing on the fence, opening it further to let themselves through. “I hate doing this. Hate oweing them favors.“ Niki groaned. “Well you're gonna have to suck it up for today.“ “You say that everytime we end up here-“ Heeseung’s knock on the long wooden doors, interrupted Niki. He sighed, propping himself up on one of the walls. It was getting harder and harder to stand. Several minutes passed, the trio still stood out in front of the small cottage. “Maybe they're not home-“
The door creaked, a small head peeking out from behind the wood. A pair of wide eyes stared the boys down, before the doors were fully pushed open, revealing two more figures behind the girl in front. Chaerin sighed, crossing her arms over chest.
“Ah, boys. What a not so lovely surprise.“ Heeseung smiled, still clutching his side. “Oh cmon. You missed me.“ “You're bleeding out on our welcome matt.“ Yunabi bit back. “Well that must mean that we're welcome to come in, right?“ Niki responded, a sarcastic grin on his face as he stared the girl down. “Or maybe it means that you're stupid and delusional.“ Dohana spoke up, placing a hand on her hip. Jungwon chuckled. “Are you describing yourself?“ Chaerin stopped the upcoming banter, tilting her head as she spoke up before Dohana threw in another insult. “What do you guys want.“
Tumblr media
Niki sighed, dropping his head back on the couch as he spread his legs. Yunabi quickly kicked his legs shut again. “When did i say you could make yourself comfortable?“ Niki rolled his eyes, slowly lifting his gaze as he watched the silver haired girl head back into the kitchen for more supplies. Niki let his gaze wander, taking note of the ridiculous amount of candles in the living room. This place was a damn fire-hazard. And as if the candles weren't enough, fairy lights decorated the TV in front of him, mounted over the fire place. A small picture frame on one of the window sills caught his eye, a picture of the three girls out in the forest, collecting what seemed to be berries. Niki rolled his eyes again, quickly averting his gaze as yunabi re-entered the living room.
The boys had been split up. The girls had concluded that it would be easier for each of them to attend to one of the boys, after a good few minutes of arguing about whether or not they should let them come in, or even help them. Chaerin reluctantly agreed to helping them, convincing the girls by remembering them that the boys would have to owe them a favor if they decided to help. This is how it's been since these strange little witches met their vampire group. They were the only witches in the area, that didn't completely despise vampires. They probably despised humans even more. Yunabi placed a variety of herbs down on the table, each had their own pungent smell which made Niki turn his head away and scrunch his nose. Yunabi chuckled. “Don't be such a baby.“ “Shut up. I'm like..fucking dying over here, okay.“
Yunabi frowned, taking a seat on the floor in front of the opposite side of the table. “You're not dying. You're just weakened.“ Niki quickly shook his head, running his hands over his face as he groaned. “No- no its worse. It's gotten worse. It's too fucking hot in here..can't even fucking breathe.“ Yunabi slowly stood back up, making her way over to the boy. She placed her hand on his forehead, before she quickly recoiled back. “Fuck! You're burning up!“ Niki rolled his eyes once more. “Yeah, i fucking know.“ He sighed, dropping his head once more. Yunabi ran back off into the kitchen, turning the faucet to the coldest setting before she picked up a bucket and placed it under the now flowing water stream.
“Take your shirt off!“ Yunabi screamed out from the kitchen.
What.
Niki quickly straightened up, his heart weirdly beating faster. “..what?!“ “Take your shirt off! We have to cool you off before you burn a fucking hole into our couch!“ Niki stared down at his white shirt. Well, it was now drenched in sweat, slowly making it transparent from slowly soaking up his sweat. Taking off his shirt, did sound really fucking appealing right now. He really was burning up and aching for more air around his body. His jacket had already been discarded to the floor. Niki sighed, getting up from the couch and turning away from the door before he slowly lifted the shirt up, slipping it off from his chest. A thud filled the room, Niki quickly turned back around.
Yunabi had dropped the rag she was holding. Her wide, cat-shaped eyes now almost shamelessly staring down his chest. Niki scoffed. “Take a picture. It'll last longer, princess.“ Yunabi frowned, shaking her head as her cheeks reddened and picked the rag back up from the floor, placing it into the bucket of ice cold water on her other hand. “Shut up.“ Niki smiled, but quickly covered it up with a cough as he sat back down on the couch. His bones ached horribly, but taking off another layer of his clothes had actually helped, even if it was only a little. The air eased a bit of the warmth he felt. Niki closed his eyes, breathing deeply. Yunabi dipped her hand into the cold bucket of water, squeezed out the rag and slowly made her way over to niki. Her hand trembled as she noticed a singular drop of sweat slowly slip down from the middle of his chest, right down to his-
No.
Yunabi shook her head, taking a deep breath before she placed the rag on his forehead. Niki winced, his hips involuntarily lifting as he let out a groan. A groan that sent a hoard of butterflies into her belly. No. No stop. Yunabi quickly retrieved her hand. “Sorry- did that hurt?“ Niki let out another groan, his hand shooting up to catch her wrist, forcing her to place her hand back on his forehead. “No- No leave it there. That feels good.“ Yunabi’s eyes widened. She instinctively tried to take a step back, but niki kept his hand on pressed on hers, preventing her from leaving. “..too damn hot.“ Niki sighed, his plump lips parting as he frowned, eyes still shut. His hand slowly slipped off of hers. Yunabi took the chance, leaving the rag on his face as she turned around and headed back to the table. She reached for the small golden cup on the table, crushed a few herbs and mixed them into the hot water as she started chanting. From the couch, Niki groaned again, hips lifting as his head dropped further hack. “Yuna-“ “I know. Im almost done.“ she cut him off, stirring the antidote quickly before she walked back towards the boy. Niki quickly shook his head, turning his face away from the drink and scrunching his nose in disgust. Yunabi rolled her eyes. “Do you want to live or not? Stop being such a baby!“ Niki’s eyes snapped open, his now red irises stared up at her in fury. Yunabi sighed, placing her hand on his jaw and forcing it up as she dipped the cup, letting the liquid fall into his mouth. Niki swallowed involuntarily, his hands shot up, grabbing onto her wrists, making the cup fall out of her hands and hit the floor. Niki growled, bearing his fangs at her as he pinned the girl down onto the couch.
It took him about a minute before his eyes returned to normal again, fangs retracting as his skin started to rapidly cool down. Niki sighed, staring down at yunabi who was left shocked, waiting for the boy to let go of her wrists. Her tongue poked out to wet her dried lips. “Fuck this.“ Niki groaned, dropping his head and letting his lips meet with hers in a feverish quick kiss. Yunabi gasped into his mouth, feeling his hands slowly wander down her arms as she tangled her hands into his hair. The pair fell back into a familiar position, one they had been in before.
Tumblr media
Dohana ran a hand through her hair, staring down at the boy in her bed. “Don't. Move. I'm gonna go grab the ingredients for the antidote.“ Jungwon rolled his eyes, nodding. “Yes, boss.“ Dohana quickly flashed him with her middle finger before she ran downstairs, entering the Kitchen. Jungwon sighed, taking a look around her room. A bunch of posters plasted onto her walls, a small planet-shaped lamp on her desk, next to a picture of her looking up at the Moon. A red electric guitar leaned next to her bookshelf. Jungwon took notes of it all as if he hadn’t been here before already. He rolled his shoulders back, tugging at the collar of his shirt. It was stuffy in there. He stood up, tugging off his jacket, leaving him in a simple white button up. He placed his jacket on the chair in front of her desk, neatly folding it. “Fuck...“ Jungwon clawed at his throat, reaching for the window in the girls room and pulling it open. The cold night air nipped at his cheeks but it wasn't enough. There was fire deep in his bones, he could feel it. Jungwon clumsily tugged at the first few buttons of his shirt, ripping it open. “Alright this might take a-“ The boy slowly turned around, eyes trying to focus on the girl in front of him as a small layer of sweat started to coat his chest, “-bit.“ Dohana finished her sentence, blinking up at jungwon in surprise. “Well hurry up then. It's nothing you haven't seen before, Dohana.“
The girl swallowed, placing her items down on the desk as she started crushing up the herbs. Jungwon groaned as he fell back into her bed. “I'm burning up-“ “I'm going as fast as i can!“ Dohana cut him off. Jungwon only moaned out in return, his hands digging into the mattress. Dohana pretended that his obscene sounds were definitely not affecting him. Jungwon bit down on his lip, fangs pushing into the plump flesh and drawing out blood. “Shit-“ “What?!“ Dohana whipped her head around. Oh fuck.
Jungwon had his hands propped up behind him on the bed, nails digging into the matress and legs spread. A drop of blood now dripping from his lips and down to his jaw, abs peeking out of the thin button up he wore. Dohana swallowed. Or tried to. Her mouth fell open before she quickly closed it again, her hands trembled as she absentmindedly pressed the stone down onto the herbs. Jungwon groanded, his hips lifting up a little as he tugged at his shirt again and again, until it ripped. Buttons flying out onto the floor, revealing his skin under neath. “Do..Dohana...hurry..“ He groaned out, tongue poking out to collect the blood from his lips. Dohana tried to avert her gaze back to the herbs, crushing them last bit of them before she placed them into the hot cup of water. “Almost done! Just need to finish it up with the spe-“ Her head hit the wall as jungwon pinned her back by her wrists. Dohana groaned, gasping as she stared back into his darkened red eyes. Jungwon moved slowly, dropping his head as his nose nudged against her neck.
“Your blood...smells so..sweet..“ Dohana trembled under his touch, trying to push herself further into the wall just to create some distance. It was to no use. Jungwon only moved closer, now letting his tongue slide up her neck and to her jaw before he whispered into her ear. “Just..one taste..“ “..Jungwon-“ The boy stumbled back, shaking his head. His cheeks visibly reddened as he wiped at his face. “Fuck- Dohana hurry!“ Don't need to tell me twice. The girl hurried back to the desk, trying to ignore the way her head throbbed and her heartbeat had quickened. Whispers of latin left her lips as she stirred the cup, trying to keep her focus on the spell and not get distracted by the way jungwon kept groaning and moaning behind her. Dohana smiled proudly, lifting the cup just as she finished the spell, catching the way it sparkled for a second as she rushed to jungwon’s side.
“Here, just dri-“ Jungwon’s hands reached for her waist, tugging the girl up to his lap as he grasped her wrist, eyes shut tight as he made her lift the cup to his lips. His nose scrunched at the smell, but Jungwon gathered whatever willpower he had left to force himself to swallow the drops of the liquid that now landed in his mouth. He groaned, shoulders rolling back as his skin started to cool off. It felt so fucking good. Jungwon unknowingly dug his fingers into her hips, slowly dragging them down to her sides. Dohana let out a small squeal, staring down at the boy. “..You-“ “Shut up.“ He groaned out, taking a deep breath as his head rolled back. Dohana made no move to get off of his lap. Silence filled the room for a minute, before jungwon slowly lifted his head back up, his hands still grabbing at her hips and now lifting her up. He placed her down onto the bed, pushed down her chest and tugged her legs up.
“What are you-“
“I owe you a favor now. Right?“ Jungwon questioned, his hands trailing up to the waistband of her jeans. “Well yeah but-“ “Then let me.“ He breathed out, slowly tugging them down her legs. “My turn to repay the favor, hm.“

Heeseung groaned, running a hand through his hair as he clutched his shirt with the other. He could practically feel the oncoming fever. It felt like he was slowly being dipped in fire and it was fucking unbearable. He breathed slowly, his throat itching as he tried to focus on the girl in front of him. Chaerin scratched her head, looking down at the grimoire in front of her with the big ANTIDOTE’S page opened. She squealed in triumph, a small “yes!” escaping her lips as she found the one she was looking for. Cute, Heeseung thought to himself before letting out another cough. His throat felt so dry all of a sudden, itching terribly. But Heeseung couldn’t tell if he was thirsty for water, or something else. Chaerin sighed, slowly getting up from the spot on her floor. “Uhm I’m sorry, you’re gonna have to wait here for a second. There’s a lot of ingredients I need to get from the kitchen-“ “just hurry up. my throat’s burning. and I feel like I’m on fire.” Chaerin rolled her eyes, mumbling a “okay sorry queen..” under her breath, which Heeseung still heard. Vampiric hearing came in clutch sometimes.
Chaerin left the room, heading for the Kitchen. Heeseung sighed, taking a look around the very pink room. Pastel pink walls with white lacy stripes, a few pictures of a singer called Lana Del Rey on her walls, and too many fucking plushies on her bed with floral bedding. Heeseung scoffed, this was just so girly to him. I mean, the fake flowers that were woven into her windowsills and the curtains around her bed? You’d think she was a fairy and not a witch. A lot of makeup also layer strayed on her desk, where a picture frame of her and her sisters stood. Chaerin stood in the middle, holding up pink tulips to the camera with Dohana next to her with Lily of the valley’s in her hand. Yunabi held a bouquet of red roses, which matched her black attire. They were an odd little trio, but they somehow always seemed to fit together perfectly, Heeseung thought. But his train of thought was broken when a smell infiltrated his nose, almost like a harsh sting at first.
Heeseung groaned, lifting his nose in the air, trying to figure out what he was smelling. Vanilla..? Vanilla and..strawberries?? Heeseung frowned, wondering where the smell was coming from, why he just now discovered it, until he noticed the tall perfume flask on her windowsill. “Strawberry Shortcake”, it read. You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me. Heeseung clutched his chest, his fever seemingly and suddenly becoming worse. He couldn’t tell if it was because of the sudden smell he noticed. Heeseung staggered, reaching for the window and tugging it open, but the little wave of air that pushed through, was not helping him. He sighed, hands clawing his shirt off in desperation. It was fine, he told himself. He would’ve had to take it off anyway, she still had to get that stupid bullet out. Speaking of, Heeseung heard her footsteps approaching, before she entered the room. “Okay so I’m really sorry but you’re gonna have to wait a bit because I just saw Dohana and she said we have to enchant the herbs bec- oh.”
Chaerin halted. Heeseung groaned, there it was. That smell again. Her smell. His chest heaved with every breath. Chaerin swallowed harshly, trying to focus back on the task on hand, and ignore the very hot looking vampire in front of her. She quickly reached for another book on her bookshelf, threw it down to the floor as she began crushing some of the herbs into a small bowl. She flipped the book open, turning the pages until she reached the one she needed. Heeseung staggered towards her, blinded by the fever and her smell. He fell to his knees behind her, a thud ringing out. Chaerin quickly turned around, eyes flashing with concern. “Is everything oka-“ Heeseung’s hands clutched at her waist, as he pushed himself against her. Chaerin felt his warm, sweaty chest against her back as she swallowed. She was sure her heart started skipping several beats. Heeseung whined, right next to her ear before his head dropped lower and his nose nudged against her Neck. Chaerin pushed down the gasp that threatened to leave her lips, her neck had always been a very sensitive area.
Heeseung breathed in her smell, letting out another small whine as he pushed himself against her more and more. “You-…fuck..!” He groaned in frustration as he shook his head, falling back and trying to push himself away from her. Ignoring every part of his body that practically screamed at him to stay stuck to her. “Chaerin…hurry the fuck up!” “I’m trying!” She screamed back at him, crushing the last bit of herbs and emptying the bowl into a small cup. She began chanting, heeseung faintly caught a few whispers in Latin before she abruptly stopped, the drink now sparkling gently. She smiled, quickly getting up and pushing the drink into his hands. Heeseung almost threw up at the smell, his head falling back against the bed behind him. “Oh what the fuck-“ “Don’t be a fucking baby. Drink. Now.” Heeseung swallowed harshly, not having expected such a demanding tone from the usually very bubbly and sweet girl. He sighed as he raised the cup to his lips, trying to chug down the drink as fast as he could, his face scrunching up in distaste as he did so.
But the antidote had worked. Heeseung felt his body rapidly start cooling down again, the itch in his throat slowly fading. A breath of relief escaped his lips. Chaerin sighed, falling back onto the plush carpet in exhaustion. The pressure had done a number on her, clearly. Heeseung bit his lip, noticing how her skirt had ridden up to expose a bit of her thighs. He rolled his eyes, slowly getting up and crawling on top of her. Chaerin frowned up at him. “Wha- what are you doing dude get off you’re sweaty-“ “Shut up. I know you missed me too.” He dropped his head back down into her neck, pressing a kiss onto the warm skin there. Chaerin gasped, her hands clutching at his shoulders. Heeseung gently smiled down at her. “Cmon…know you missed this too.”

The boy’s scratched their heads awkwardly, hair all messy and clothes torn as they stood in front of the cottage’s poarch. The sisters stared down at their feet sheepishly, skin littered with colorful bruises. They all were well aware of what had gone on back in the home. Jungwon was the first to speak up. “so uhm..thanks again. For the uh, help.” Niki nodded along, his eyes trailing across Yunabi’s figure as a small smirk tugged at his lips. Dohana smiled, her lips pulled into a thin line. “Uhm yeah..you’re..welcome.” A buzzing sound interrupted the awkward silence that followed after. Heeseung fished out his phone, noticing about a thousand missed calls from the rest of their vampire pack, their brothers. And about a few hundred more messages from their groupchat. Heeseung read the last one out loud.
Money-Maker (Jay) Can’t get into the bunker. They’ve set up a trap in front of it, means they’ve found that place too. We need another place to crash at
Jungwon sighed, dropping his head down. Niki frowned, mumbling insults under his breath. Chaerin turned to her sisters, nudging them to go inside for a minute before she turned back around to the boys. “Wait here for a second- we’ll be right back. We have to..discuss something.”
Several minutes passed. The boys faintly heard the girls shout and argue a few times, a few scoff’s and giggles before they reopened their door and slipped back out to the front porch. Dohana cracked her knuckles as she stared back at jungwon. “So uh..we’re willing to let you guys crash at our place. But only for a little.” She said. “And only until you guys find another safe place for yourselves.” Yunabi added. “And only if you follow our rules.” Chaerin replied. Heeseung and Niki rolled their eyes before all three boys quietly mumbled a “deal..” under their breaths as they sent out a message to the rest of their group.
