I need some help finding a fic! I can't, for the life of me, remember what the name was called, not what type of monster/cryptid starred in it 😭

From what I can remember, the plot was that the Reader went out hiking/researching on a beast that was seen in a certain area, and was then caught up in a landslide/some sort of disaster.

Reader (who I think hurt themselves?) saved a Baby Cryptid during the accident, and was then found by Papa Cryptid. He took the lot of them to his den, where Reader stayed and learned about the creature's/family unit's habits and ways of life.

Eventually, once Reader was all better, Cryptid Dad took them back to a village nearby.

I can't remember if I read it here, or on AO3. Let me know if you've read it too (and send a link if possible)!
