too many stories about turning yourself into a monster as a metaphor for pretending to be something you aren't and losing yourself in the process. not enough stories about turning yourself into a monster as a metaphor for choosing to openly embrace yourself even if it's strange to other people

This is the exact reason why I read monster romance. I see myself reflected in monstrous characters, and it's soothing to me. I'm queer, chronically ill, and nerodivergent. There are so many ways in which I feel betrayed by my body and mind. Reading about a monster that is loved, regardless of their struggle with body and mind, is almost cathartic.
linking arms with my fellow beloved transes who like nonconsensual and/or monstrous transformation story tropes because it allows you a fantasy where you get to change your body without being made to feel at fault for it

Hozier is for the girlies who read romance and want to be kidnapped by the High Fae.
Sleep Token is for the girlies who looked at that statue of Mothman and went “👀 he’s kinda hot though…”

Howdy, thanks for stopping by.
I'm Ace, or Autumn - They/them pronouns.
Hiii, I draw smut, mostly monster smut.
One day I plan to post my masterlist. I recently got back into writing, so it's gonna be a while before I feel comfortable posting anything online. In the meantime, enjoy some spicy art and doodles.
