I went through a phase where I would swallow things whole and I told everyone that "you don't choke if you just keep swallowing" and later my one friend said she had smth stuck in her throat but remembered my advice to keep swallowing and bc of that she didn't choke

C’est l’heure de sortir son deck et de méditer dessus ~
L’approche initiatique du Tarot
Au delà de l'utiliser comme un outil divinatoire, j’ai toujours approché le Tarot comme si ses arcanes contenaient les clés secrètes d’un sentier initiatique, menant à son Soi supérieur. Chacune des lames majeures devient l’archétype de l’étape cruciale d’un cheminement intérieur à accomplir. J’y reviendrai dans d’autres articles.
Tarot et étude de l’ombre
L’ombre est une chose vague, sombre, aux limites floues, mais elle est aussi une abîme profonde comme un puits sans fond. Renfermant nos doutes, nos peurs, elle est cette part d’obscurité en nous que l’on cherche à fuir, mais en vain, car nous devons forcément avancer avec elle. Personne ne peut échapper à l’ombre qu’iel s’est construit, même indépendamment de sa volonté. Elle est le résultat de tout ce qu’on a un jour écarté de notre conscience, refoulé ou nié, et les fragments de nous qu’elle contient sont autant de clés redoutables menant vers une meilleure connaissance et acceptation de soi.
L’étude de cette part d’ombre, le chemin qu’il faut pour la faire entièrement nôtre, l’accepter, est laborieux car il nous force à regarder droit dans les yeux l’objet de nos peurs et de nos malaises - le travail d’une vie parfois. Elle peut se faire avec n’importe quel support, mais ici j’ai choisi de vous parler de l’utilité du Tarot pour cette pratique.
Les arcanes majeurs sont autant d’archétypes qui parlent à l’inconscient collectif. Chacun a des affinités plus ou moins prononcées avec certaines cartes, une attirance particulière ou irrésistible pour l’aura symbolique d’un personnage, etc. Ces connexions que l’on ressent, via notre intuition, sont révélatrices de notre Moi supérieur en devenir : un arcane nous plaît, nous inspire, car il résonne harmonieusement en écho avec cet idéal, il est l’élan nécessaire qui vient nous porter vers une meilleure version de nous-même.
Mais qu’en est-il des cartes que nous redoutons le plus ?
Demandons-nous : Quelles sont-elles, pourquoi nous ne les aimons pas, pourquoi nous mettent-elles mal à l’aise ? Qu’est-ce qu’elles nous inspirent, nous rappellent ?
Elles sont des déclencheurs, qui viennent ranimer le souvenir douloureux d’un fragment de notre personnalité qui a été enfoui dans notre ombre. On perçoit négativement une carte, car on n’est pas en paix avec les symboles qu’elle arbore, le message qu’elle porte. Quelque chose dans sa figure, ou son nom, vient titiller l’inconscient de manière désagréable.
C’est parfois compliqué ou douloureux d’y faire face, de l’accepter, mais c’est aussi incroyablement enrichissant. C’est souvent en se confrontant à ses démons qu’on avance le plus. Cela peut permettre un déblockage émotionnel, de faire le point sur des événements du passé, pour enfin avancer, serein-e et grandi-e, sur son chemin spirituel.
Si vous êtes tenté-e par le chemin de l’étude de l’ombre, c’est justement vers ces cartes-là qu’il faudra vous tourner, les analyser en profondeur et méditer dessus, guidé-e par votre intuition.
