Omg, thanks! Honestly I’m ashamed to admit it took me this long, given how many times I had to deal with male violence, but we’re here now!

How are more people not afraid of the ocean?
Have you seen that shit???
We know more about space than we do like 70% of our own planet
We constantly are discovering new, terrifying things. We thought krakens were myths, and then one day scientists were like “wanna see a giant squid? Look, it’s tentacles have FUCKING TEETH!”
I follow an Australian on YouTube who wanders around the ocean in essentially a clear plastic Tupperware so you can see underneath, and I genuinely don’t know what’s worse; the vast, endless void of NOTHING or when there’s something down there. Like a shark. Or poisonous snake.
Everytime i think we’ve hit our peak of fucked up sea related bullshit, bam! It hits us out of the blue with a fucked up thing. Like a fish with human-looking teeth. Or another fish that looks like a rock and has some of the worst venom imaginable. Or an eel that can eat things bigger than itself so often that a common cause of death for it is that it’s stomach exploded. Or a jelly fish with tendrils longer than a blue whale. Or serial killer orcas. Or dolphins. Just, dolphins. Wanna ruin your day? Learn about dolphins. And that’s just the animals, let’s talk about water pressure and the bends and all that good shit because absolutely not babe. Why are you going down there there’s no need people die horrible deaths in the ocean. You can become water logged while still alive. Drowning in freshwater is bad I can only imagine how much worse it is in a vast salty void filled with crabs and who knows what else.
You couldn’t pay me to go near that shit. The closest I’m getting is sea salt and sushi, I’ll leave the actual ocean exploring to the mad lads who think it’s fun to play chicken with death, thank you.
#ocean#thalassophobia#like it’s cool don’t get me wrong#but I also think the Elephants Foot is cool and I don’t wanna go near that either#I get more terrified by nature documentaries than I do most horror movies#and that’s not getting into stuff like hurricanes or tsunamis or any of that stuff#water is terrifying#it’s why I won’t drink it#fish pee in that

I feel this terror every time someone starts beaking off in front of me. Like, I look like three opossums in a rainbow coloured trench coat why are we doing this???????
Dad passed this lady her drink and she said "thank you sir... Well I guess I'm not allowed to say sir anymore... Since it's a pronoun!" and he literally just looked at her like this 😐

It's hilarious to me that Al Capone was an amazing tipper. I get why it took so long to catch him.

I would like to further elaborate too. If words don’t fix that shit, a fist will. Just, y’know. Food for thought.
CW: Transphobia, abuse, violence, misogyny
Had a cis guy screaming at me recently about how in order to be a ‘man’ I couldn’t be asexual. I had to be violent. I had to fuck and fight. I had to be okay with rape jokes and racism and homophobia because that’s ‘how guys act.’
He has a girlfriend. A girlfriend he’s admitted that he’s manipulated into doing things, in front of her, in front of her friends.
He didn’t like me calling him out on his shit because they never fucking do. Men like these realize deep down that what they say and do is wrong and harmful. They just choose not to fix it because they benefit from being bullies. They get acceptance from their other shitty peers when they reinforce their bullshit, and they can’t stand when people threaten to take that away from them. It’s reinforced by society, by their parents, by teachers, bosses, coworkers, friends. It’s reinforced by people who may not agree with them but won’t call them out.
They like power. Even if it’s a little bit. And they see someone like me, a trans guy, a feminist and someone who actually is trying to do the work to be a better person and a good man as a threat to that. A little conversation with my friends about how I hope I get a beard when I start T set him off like a toddler told he wasn’t allowed to watch anymore Teletubbies. And being held accountable is the last thing they want, but something they desperately need.
And what they need most, is consequences.
Call them out. If you are a man, and you think you’re an ally, a good person, anything like that, call them the fuck out. Don’t validate them. Don’t give them social good boy points. I, a trans guy, was in a situation where I had an angry screaming cis guy in my face trying to goad me into a fight all because I challenge his world view just by existing. I was actually afraid he was going to assault me, but apparently I have bigger balls than most of the cis guys in my life because I stood my fucking ground up until i decided it would be better for me to leave. Because he clearly wanted something from me, and I sure as fuck wasn’t gonna give it to him.
If you’re worried about losing friends, they weren’t good friends to begin with if they look at the women, femmes and queer people in the world, in your life, in their lives, and still think that any of their behaviour is acceptable on the surface level. Take out the trash. I’m done being polite, and the rest of us are getting pretty fed up too.

"Gatekeeping" is not a dirty word.
Indiscriminate inclusiveness is what quickly erodes movements and groups.
Gatekeep definitions and requirements, or lose them entirely.

Love it. Looks like the kind of thing that if you pick it up in a horror movie you’re gonna get haunted

This. Literally this. Thank you very much.
*grabs your hands and speaks to you in a tone that is so gentle* they/them pronouns stop being universal once you learn a person's pronouns. Sometimes that person's pronouns will include they/them and in that specific case you are allowed to keep using those pronouns for that person. In any case where you learn a persons pronouns and that person doesn't use they/them, you should no longer use those pronouns for that person. If you continue to use they/them pronouns knowing that person doesn't use them, you are now misgendering that person. Kindly stop doing that please. Thank you, I love you.

I can't fathom the fact that some people watch a movie, show or read a book they like and they just go: "I liked it :)" and that's it....girl how?? Whenever I like a movie, tv show, book or musical I need to inhale that piece of media like it's air, I need to self insert myself in it and create an elaborate plot line for my character in it, then I listen to music that reminds me of the piece of media and think of it 24/7, while obsessively rewatching scenes and analyzing every bit of it till I notice details nobody has seen, finally, I try to convince people to watch it with me so that I can experience it for the first time through them. Then my obsession dies and I feel empty until the next one comes along..... and you're telling me people can enjoy something and just...go to sleep and not think of it again????

Hello, please don't skip me.🙏💔💔
Hello world, these are my brothers’ children. They were deprived of education in this war and became uneducated, so it was necessary to educate them. I began to participate with them and educate them away from schools because schools and educational centers have become shelters for displaced families.
I hope you help me to provide them with a suitable environment, support them, and provide them with the necessary life for them so that they can live like any child in the world. I hope you help me and support them. Thank you.
