So, I’ve been thinking about it and I have two ideas I’ve come up with to help this group:

I think a big revamp would be really good for this group. I’m not going to put the group on hiatus, so if you wanted to play still, you would be able to. If you wanted to drop your character or put them on hiatus during this time, you would just let me know.

I get a temporary co-admin that will help me with the promo blog as well as a small revamp. I would write up a very small application for that and post it some time within the next two days. I would rather go with this since it means the group would still be running - correctly.

If you have any other ideas how to help this group out, by all means, message me! :) I rather enjoy/appreciate all your input and help. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns about this, please let me know as well.

To the few of you that are still here, thank you for sticking around. I wanted to make an official post to express my appreciation. I’m doing the best I can without Scout and Emily around while they deal with their real life issues. That��s also the reason I’ve been neglecting my character account as well, just to try and keep the ball rolling.

If you can, please spread the word about Cedar Falls! I would also love to hear any ideas you have. How could we get more people involved?

Alrighty, players. To help you keep your muse going, we’ve decided to send another task your way. Again, it is completely optional and there is no time limit. Below the cut, you’ll find the topic of your new task! And please tag it with #cedartask002.

We’ve all had a moment, or a few, in our lives that’s really challenged us, shaped us, or shifted who we are. This task is going to help show what goes on in your character’s head as well as how they deal with events in their life. Whether the event was a bad one, or a good one, we’d like for you to write up a journal entry on something important that’s happened in your character’s life. The event could even be something that would seem like any other day to another person, but means the entire world to your character.

For example, maybe your character lost a loved one. We would like to know what exactly they were feeling. Were they mad or sad? Maybe they denied the whole situation. Those are the kind of things we’re wanting to know.

Another example: Did your character meet their idol? What kind of questions ran through their head? How did the excitement of the moment make them feel?

Last example: For a character that has a hard time with change, maybe their first haircut was both exciting and terrifying? How did they come to the decision to get the hair cut and what did they feel like after it was over? What haircut was it? How did they feel about it afterwards?

As you can see, there are no wrong answers. There are a number of ways to go about this task, so don’t stress about making it perfect. Again, it is voluntary, but we would like as many responses as possible! :)
