one of the rare pn to pn2 total downgrades imo. you can actually see the beautiful glowing psychic candy inside the first one. second one could be literally anything.

meanwhile i want to eat these delicious things so bad. what are they even supposed to taste like. what texture is going on here. being called "fluffs" + that shape has me thinking something like cotton candy, but them being wrapped like that sort of implies otherwise. I like to think that they're crispy and light puffed candy, like the inside of a Violet Crumble bar.

As for the creation of these things I have to believe this was a dual Compton-Otto creation. Compton probably came up with the idea of mental-energy-imbued candy as a handy pick-me-up in someone's mind, and Otto said "Why don't we take this to the extreme" and that's how you end up with bite sized candies that will fully save you from being dementestrated.
