Programme visit to London. Where we met programme alumni Daniel Loveday who showed us his winning image at the Truman Brewery (below). We also visited the Whitechapel Gallery to see Thomas Ruff (above), the Photographers’ Gallery and Torbjørn Rødland at the Serpentine Gallery. Great to see some exhibitions and think about curation.

Between the Tides: Walpole Bay Tidal Pool at 80
It might seem strange to celebrate a Pool’s anniversary – but throughout the its 80th year filmmakers and photographers have been engaging with the communities who use this extraordinary and extraordinarily democratic place and space and this event provided an opportunity to gather and share the work produced with the maker’s reflections.
The event featured talks by Dr Karen Shepherdson and Rob Ball, from the Photography Programme Team. Who shared their work and discussed the importance of community and the Walpole Bay Tidal Pool.
