Hero EMT/Field Medic Danny Au
Like maybe due to all his scraps and bumps as Phantom, Danny ends up getting EMT and Field Medic training or starts studying to be one. Cause hey this will be helpful later he just knows it. Plus he could go into medical engineering (or what ever the field is called that invents medical devices) with hi Fenton Mad Scientist smarts and hyoerfocusing on healing others instead of hunting Ghosts.
A few decades or centuries down the line, Danny is now ghost king and retired from Phantom. His advisors believe he needs a vacation. And ooh look what Clockwork found- a universe with heroes. So off he goes to DC universe.
Except, his core is demanding he help some way..but there are so many heroes. Perhaps instead of being a hero, he could help the heroes.
Que Danny slapping on domino mask, tying his hair back, grabbing his old modified Fenton field medic uniform and the Patented Fenton Medical Bag (which is like the Mary Poppins bag but for medical supplies). And h doesn't even bother going Ghost. He can use his powers in human form but he does so sparingly- like lifting a building off a trapped hero or civilian, icing a wound to stop the bleeding until h can get them some where safe and duplicating himself to help in disaster relief. Suddenly there are reports of a mysterious masked meta field medic showing up at big villain battles or the aftermath of another invasion and running disaster relief and helping civilian and hero alike. Many young heroes tell their mentors of a masked medic who helped patch them up. So on ad so forth.

Esa mirada fría y certera, esos movimientos fluidos y duros.

Llamados especialmente Dioses deambulantes.
Aunque no puedan verlos.
Porque ellos son buenos.
¿Cierto?
_____________________________
¨*¨°¨*¨
Estaba cansado, frustrado y enojado.

Dan, redeemed but still with a chip on his shoulder, is on a mission.
Getting shoved into a teenage version of his body had been annoying. Growing up again had been a pain.
But.
He'd made it.
He's now an adult at the mature age of twenty, has the same terrifying stature his ghost half has, and has decided what he wants to do with the next few years of his life, at least.
He's going to confuse Batman.
See, when Dan had destroyed the world in his own timeline, there were two heroes that posed actual problems for him; Batman and John Constantine.
Of those two, Batman had been the worst.
He'd been the hardest to get rid of, stuck around the longest, and came up with a contingency that had damn near actually taken Dan out.
To be fair, Constantine had gotten way closer to deleting Dan's existence, but that had been more of a one and done fight, not a million annoying little things.
Batman had been a thorn in his side so much that even redeemed, Dan still has a grudge against him.
But.
He knows who Batman is.
More specifically, he knows who Batman's butler is, and that man is the picture definition of "overworked". Said butler also, sometimes, bemoans taking care of such a large Manor by himself on a forum just for Butlers.
A forum Dan has been frequenting, replying to those complaints and slowly endearing himself to Mr. Pennyworth. Exchanging tips. Getting advice on how to Butler. Talking about not really getting a chance to apprentice because people are "scared" of him.
(Okay so that one is true, Dan's got a plan and he wants to do it well, but there's literally no rich person that would hire him as an intern Butler. They all say he's too "intense" or whatever.)
When Oracle had traced back to Dan's computer, she'd only found normal usage and nothing suspicious. Because that was what that computer was used for, and only that.
When Mr. Pennyworth had finally asked if Dan would like to train under him as a replacement, Dan had taken a long while to stop laughing.
Dan, built like a competitive weight lifter and taller than Superman, shows up at the steps of Wayne Manor fully prepared to Fuck With Batman.
~~~~~~
Alfred's apprentice is freaking Bruce the hell out, and it's getting to the point where he's not afraid to acknowledge that.
Siempre es un buen momento para cobrar manutención de nuevos hijos clones adoptados
Au idea for dp x dc. Gremlin-Mentor au!
Danny has saved his world and created a balance between the ghosts and humans.
Over throwing Pariah Dark left him in line for the throne and he is being taught the politics and skills needed for him to rule. He won’t be ready for that position for at least a hundred years but that was expected since there is a lot to learn.
His parents know about Phantom and ghost hunting with the intent to harm the ghost is now illegal across the world.
Danny managed to pull his grades up and get into a good astrophysics program that he graduated from with honours. He’s lined up to get a job with NASA next year.
For the last 11 years everything has been working out perfectly for him. He has family, friends, and ghosts working with him to keep things from falling apart. He is going to start working at his dream job and no longer has to worry about fights popping up when he doesn’t want them too.
Danny is 27 and bored as Hel.
Things are great, but stagnant. He is powerful enough that fights with any ghost below an Ancient are over before he even gets warmed up. Murder has become non-existent since ghosts being a thing have forced everyone to realize that the dead have a high chance of coming back. Human crime is something Danny just leaves for the police so he isn’t needed as a hero as much anymore.
All Danny does is study at this point.
Until Dani comes asking for help.
Apparently in one of the dimensions that his little clone sister visited, she found an Earth saturated with heroes and villains. Dani had enjoyed looking around and learning about the cultures and mindsets of the people their but since Dani was more ghost then human she was more ruled by her obsession to travel and knew she wouldn’t be staying long.
This is usually not a problem for Dani since she can come back and visit places she’s been too every once and a while before she feels the pull to travel again. Except, while she was there, she had been spying on the heroes and apparently there was a clone of a hero who wanted to take after his original. Unfortunately, unlike Danny, the original hero didn’t take well to being cloned by his nemesis with the intent of being replaced. The clone has no mentor and no family that he can fall back on and Dani is terrified that this kid will get killed or get manipulated into joining the villains.
It got to the point where Dani broke down crying about how this kid just wanted to be like his “dad” and yet the guy who holds that title decided that this kid was going to be evil regardless and that he wasn’t even worth basic human respect.
So what was Danny to do other then promise to mentor the kid and mess with said original on Dani’s behalf.
Cue Danny popping in and out of the DC universe whenever he has time to shout life advice at Superboy much to the confusion of absolutely everyone. (Think the trope for Peter B Parker and Miles except Superboy doesn’t actually know this man who keeps wondering out of glowing portals. He is also mildly concerned that he can’t hear the dudes heartbeat but Conner does feel oddly supported and appreciated, not to mention that all the advice he’s been given actually helps even if it’s embarrassing)
Danny (the Random black hair blue raccoon-eyed man wearing ripped jeans and a disintegrating NASA hoodie, drinking a coffee so black it looks solid all the while balancing on a street lamp): “AIM FOR THE EYES, CHIN, CROTCH AND BEHIND THE KNEES IF THE OPPONENT IS STRONGER THEN YOU!!!”
“THERE IS NO SHAME IN FIGHTING DIRTY SO FIGHT DIRTY AND IF YOU NEED TO RUN THAT IS OKAY TOO SINCE RUNNING MEANS YOU LIVED AND THAT IS ALWAYS A WIN! YOU CAN ALWAYS COME BACK TO A FIGHT BUT YOU CAN’T ALWAYS COME BACK TO LIFE!!!!”
Superboy (who is very confused and frustrated and losing the fight to one of Superman’s regular villains and decides to fuck it and follow the weird man’s advice) : *surprised that the punch to the chin knocks the villain back far enough for Conner to catch his breath* that’s actually good advice??
Superboy actively thinking about the rest of the advice and realizing it makes a lot of sense and isn’t demeaning his skills as a hero in anyway. This man keeps showing up so Conner guesses he has a mentor now??
Justice League is confused and ‘totally unrelated to this’ Superman has been having the worst year of his life from various mishaps that have befallen him at home, work, and in his hero career.
DCxDP fanfic idea:Vanishing Bookstore
Danny opens a bookstore. Initially, it was his private library, a place tp store all the books he gather from different parts of the glob and different Earths.
Mr. Lancer finally wore him down, causing Danny's love of reading to blossom at the end of his Freshman year. The teacher did so by having him come in person to speak about any kind of book as makeup work, as long as he learned how to dissect what he read and get proper reading comprehension.
Danny found that he could enjoy literature if he wasn't forced to write an essay afterward. But spending lunchtimes with his English teacher arguing about Narina's moral concepts was practically the same as the essay; it was just funnier.
It was the final push he needed to move to the next grade. By the skin of his teeth, but he did it. Mr. Lancer had been so proud of him.
That summer, Danny had been grounded for various weeks due to the ghosts attacks taking him away from his school and chores. Since he wasn't allowed to watch TV, or use the computer Danny had chosen to pick up books from Jazz's young adult fantasy shelves.
He never looked back.
Suddenly, it was like Danny could only go somewhere with something to read. He jumped genres but always fell back to fantasy, escaping into magical worlds between pages. Something about that reminded him of exploring the different worlds within the Infinate Realms, and Danny found himself addicted.
It became his entire identity. Sam was the goth girl, Tucker the tech geek, and Danny the book nerd. His friends and family quickly learned that any gift-giving event was going to lead to a long list of books Danny was waiting to get his grabby little hands on.
Even the classics Mr. Lancer once had to fight him to read were entertaining now that he understood their subtext and inferences that used to go over his head as a kid.
Jazz took him to get his library card which became Danny's most prized possession until high school graduation. Once Danny got his first part-time job- working for Sam's family company but hey if he had a rich friend who was willing to pay him to answer calls who was he to say no?- Danny started buying his own books.
He shopped at local second-hand bookstores, online websites, and chain bookstores and even ventured into the Ghost Zone to see what literature wonders they had to offer. He found that his human money had a far better exchange rate then he was expecting, making it possible to buy a lot more and at cheaper prices in the Zone.
He even found parallel words that sold the same books he was reading. Once, he saw a book he had waited two years to release at a marked-down price because that world had the book out for five years. Danny almost died of joy to find the special edition.
His room, which once had nothing by NASA, was now filled with bookshelve after bookshelve of his treasures. His parents allowed him to expand his little library in the attic once he ran out of room.
Danny had no idea what to do when his parents asked him what he planned to do once he ran out of room there. By that point, he had started to move the older ones into his Haunt in the Ghost zone, amazed that it had shifted into a Libary that rivaled the likes of Libary of Alexandria. He had so many different ones that he could organize by all ten categories of the Dewey Decimal System in his Haunt, making him wonder if he had consumed that much writing in the past four years. (He had. His parents were worried)
Ghosts had even started asking if they could visit his library, and before long, he had opened one of Ghost Zona's first Public libraries. His only charge was that if a new ghost wanted a library card, they had to donate at least three books. His collection grew and grew with each passing day.
Blob ghosts appointed themselves as Danny's librarians, carefully filing his newest additions to his growing delight. Danny now always had something new to read.
He consumed so much that a new title was bestowed onto him. Danny Phantom: Master of Knowledge.
Though that was a rather silly title if you asked Danny, he enjoyed a good read whenever he was awake. Just because he learned while reading didn't mean he was the master of it. However, he did gain a massive patchwork of knowledge that he could usually apply anywhere, making people assume he was all-knowing.
That did not solve the problem of getting too many books, and often, he found copies of the same ones added to his shelves again and again. His blob ghosts didn't think to reject copies because then ghosts couldn't visit his haunt and would be denied books.
Danny would never deny anyone books. He just had to figure out what to do with the copies and old books he was no longer interested in.
Jazz told him to try and have a yard sale of the ones he no longer wanted, and seeing as there were some series he could go without, Danny gave it a shot.
He made a surprising amount of money, but it was far from the amount he had spent to purchase them. Still, watching people get excited as they walk away with bags of books more than made up for it. After his third yard sale, Danny made up his mind.
He would attach a bookstore to his Haunt.
He wasn't sure how since his library had built itself. It seemed unwilling to add on to it that it was a slightly different business. His haunt only expanded to accommodate the library that he was building there. It took reading five rare books that Clockwork had gifted him to find what was once lost knowledge.
Haunt Manipulation.
It was risky, but Danny created the Infinite Realms Bookstore with enough concentration, some runes, a dash of overly powerful ectoplasm, and some of his core bits. He chose to run this one because the blobs seemed frightened of hackling with customers, and frankly, seeing people be happy was a different kind of rush.
Things were fine for a few years. He didn't need to work now that he had a steady cash flow—though sometimes he had to find someone willing to trade for US Earth 23-19 dollars. He was his own boss with his books to read, his body not needing sleep or food while in the zone, and his ability to lose himself in between pages whenever he wanted.
Then, his bookstore fell off his haunt. It was like an apple falling from a tree- it grew too heavy for the Haunt to handle- flinging Danny into a nearby Earth portal. Luckily, he could get back to the Zone with the spell he placed on his backdoor, and his haunt was in the same place as it always was.
It turns out that Haunt Manipulation is no longer an extended practice because it cannot anchor anywhere. It vanishes and reappears randomly, lingering for a few months. Danny finds that the last haunt like this is now named the House of Mysteries.
At first, Danny was really annoyed by this, until he realized that he could once again walk among humans and spread his library to different worlds. He especially loved it when he appeared in areas where he could teach people to read.
Something about introducing people to his obsession was almost as fulfilling as his obsession itself.
He became a strange but wise man in some worlds and a god of knowledge in others. Danny was having the time of his life, flinging between timelines, exploring dimensions, and still being able to port back to his regular Haunt that connected him to his home.
He saw his parents every Thanksgiving and Christmas. He was able to be the Best man at Jazz's wedding, saw Tucker become the head of his own tech company, and was one of the first to meet Sam's girlfriend between his exploring.
Infinite Realms Bookstore's newest location was on an intriguing Earth behind Danny's home world regarding technology. It was a crime-infested city with far too many problems for its own good. His bookstore also chooses to plant itself right smack in the middle of the worst part of town.
On the far back wall, in the elegant letter, it read "Five years," meaning Danny and the bookstore would be here for five years before it vanished. Strangely, it was the longest time that it had lingered in one place.
Danny suspected that Infinite Realms Bookstore was starting to develop a mind of its own. His books were organizing themselves overnight now, and he was sure he never saw any blob ghosts about.
That did not stop him from happily opening his doors to Crime Alley anyway. The morning of his first day in Gotham, while sipping some coffee- he forgot how good it tasted!- a young boy wandered in.
He was obviously looking for an escape, so Danny willed some chairs and tables to appear in the far back. A complimentary snack section appeared a few seconds later, and there was a "Feel free to read anything off the shelves" sign.
The kid's eyes widened when he spotted them before he hastily raced toward the classics and selected two large volumes. He planted himself at one of the tables surrounded by drinks and cookies and didn't move for hours.
Danny left him to it, choosing to close when the kid left. It was tweleve long hours but worth it to see the glee on the tiny litte face as he flipped through pages.
The next day, he came back, and the one after that. Before long, Danny had his first regular.
That regular is a young boy named Jason Todd.
Jason reminded Danny of himself when he first got into reading, which led to him making a deal with the young boy. He would let Jason bring books to trade, allowing the boy to take home whatever he wanted in exchange. This meant Danny could get books from this new dimension and Jason didn't have to worry about finaces.
There was a time where Danny was pretty sure Jason was just reselling him back his own books. But seeing as Jason looked more and more like he was having a hard time finding a good meal, Danny pretended not to notice.
This is similar to when his bookstore developed free showers for him to use only when he was about or private reading rooms with a warm bed. Jason early took advantage of these, unaware that they vanished from view to all other customers once he stepped inside.
Sometimes, he falls asleep and spends the night inside those private reading rooms when Danny "forgets" to walk through the store before closing.
Everyone else paid because they didn't make Danny's core sing like Jason. It was easy to tell when the boy became Robin, as he found the vigilante pulling Batman to his window and pointing out books. The moment that mask little face pressed against his glass, Danny knew who it was.
Just as he knew the next day when, Bruce Wayne opened his door to buy everything that Robin had wanted. Danny kept that to himself, though. He figured it would be funnier if they thought they were sneaky.
Maybe this place would be his finest location yet.
Short DPXDC Prompts #690
Caves are very cold and have a consistent temperature. Caves are commonly used as cold storage warehouses. Deep in the underground caverns under Wayne Manor, There lays a cold storage area where Alfred stores food. Walking down to the storage room the butler sees glowing green eyes in the dark. The only thing stopping him from pulling out his shotgun is the bright green blood that is glowing just as bright.
Ahora necesito un fic de esto >:V
I'll call my dad
The justice league was in disaray. They had failed to stop the summoning, and already the demon was stepping out of the portal. The last standing heros didn't have the manpower to stop a whole thrall army and the magic users certainly hadn't the power to deal with the demon himself. They needed a plan, or a miracle, or the earth was doomed.
Suddenly, Constantine braced himself, and strode right to the beast.
"Don't step further, or I'll have to call my dad."
The heros were baffled. The demon too.
"Your... dad ?"
"That's right," he was sweating bullets but he continued "I'm John Constantine and Phantom is my dad. He cares a lot about Earth. He will not take kindly your little invading stunt."
"Who is Phantom ?" wispered Flash to Zatana.
"I don't know."
The league didn't know if he was bluffing or not. Zatana had recently heard rumors about Constantine's father, but it was all vague, shrouded in secrecy.
The surprised past, the demon laught.
"Alright," he mocked, "Let see what your 'dad' think of that."
Constantine took a deep breath and reluctantly put out a piece of paper form his inner pocket. As he put it in fire with a spell, the cave they were in was breifly plunged in freezing cold and supernatural darkness. A thunderous ice crack resoned, that they could feel in their chest as much as they heard. The shadows sleethed into the form of a titanesque being, and suddenly big, bright, lazarus green eyes opened. And they didn't look happy.
"John."
He gulped.
"Hi dad."
"It's a school night."
"I know," the magician cringed, "I swear I have a good reason."
Now the being looked downright pissed.
"Damn, I would hope so ! Do you have any idea what time it is ?"
"He wants to destroy the Earth !" defended Constantine almost petulantly, waving at the confused demon.
The green eyes looked at the demonic being, then the leaguers in various states of injuries, then the demon again. The demon didn't seem like he wanted to be here anymore. He was proved right when he received a monstruous fist in the face.
The entity grabbed him by an ankle, threw him back to hell, then slammed the portal shut as if it was a door. Constantine visibly relaxed.
"Thanks a lot."
"Don't mention it," grumbled the being. "Anything else you need ?"
"No. And I'm really sorry, I know it's late."
"Just don't make it an habit. See you on sunday."
And just like that, he was gone. Wally had to sit down.
"What the fuck."
Hi everyone ! I was reminded of that post a while ago where Danny inherited of Connie's soul and decided it counts as adoption (can't find it now) and this is what came to my brain.
Jason startles as a stranger on the streets of Gotham takes one look at him, looks at him in absolute horror, and then runs to the closest dumpster and vomits into it.
Jason is mildly offended. He doesn’t look that bad does he? — Danny glances back to look at the undead staring at him on the sidewalk and nearly vomits again. His soul is shattered. It’s like looking at a human after being hit by a car at 60mph who’s acting like they’re perfectly fine as they walk towards you. — Jason approaches the stranger, one hand hovering over the shoulder of the guy and asks; “Hey man what’s your problem? What's the deal w-”
The once retching passerby moves imperceptibly quick. His hands go through Jason’s chest and before he can even react he feels something snap back into place.
Jason can barely remember screaming as he near instantly blacks out from the pain.
Diablos, ahora quiero un fic de esto
Dan, redeemed but still with a chip on his shoulder, is on a mission.
Getting shoved into a teenage version of his body had been annoying. Growing up again had been a pain.
But.
He'd made it.
He's now an adult at the mature age of twenty, has the same terrifying stature his ghost half has, and has decided what he wants to do with the next few years of his life, at least.
He's going to confuse Batman.
See, when Dan had destroyed the world in his own timeline, there were two heroes that posed actual problems for him; Batman and John Constantine.
Of those two, Batman had been the worst.
He'd been the hardest to get rid of, stuck around the longest, and came up with a contingency that had damn near actually taken Dan out.
To be fair, Constantine had gotten way closer to deleting Dan's existence, but that had been more of a one and done fight, not a million annoying little things.
Batman had been a thorn in his side so much that even redeemed, Dan still has a grudge against him.
But.
He knows who Batman is.
More specifically, he knows who Batman's butler is, and that man is the picture definition of "overworked". Said butler also, sometimes, bemoans taking care of such a large Manor by himself on a forum just for Butlers.
A forum Dan has been frequenting, replying to those complaints and slowly endearing himself to Mr. Pennyworth. Exchanging tips. Getting advice on how to Butler. Talking about not really getting a chance to apprentice because people are "scared" of him.
(Okay so that one is true, Dan's got a plan and he wants to do it well, but there's literally no rich person that would hire him as an intern Butler. They all say he's too "intense" or whatever.)
When Oracle had traced back to Dan's computer, she'd only found normal usage and nothing suspicious. Because that was what that computer was used for, and only that.
When Mr. Pennyworth had finally asked if Dan would like to train under him as a replacement, Dan had taken a long while to stop laughing.
Dan, built like a competitive weight lifter and taller than Superman, shows up at the steps of Wayne Manor fully prepared to Fuck With Batman.
~~~~~~
Alfred's apprentice is freaking Bruce the hell out, and it's getting to the point where he's not afraid to acknowledge that.

“Welcome to BatBurger. Home of the BatBurger. How may I take your order?”
“With a smile of course!” The Joker cackled as he pulled out a canister and threw it at the cashier.
“Nuh-uh.” The cashier deadpans before throwing the canister back.
“The fuck you mean ‘Nuh-uh’?” Joker yelled throwing the canister back.
“Don’t wanna.” The cashier replied while smacking the canister out of the air and directly into the Joker's hand.
“Why you little!” The Joker threw the canister on the ground and lunged at the cashier.
🕐🕑🕒🕓🕔🕕🕖
“And what happened after that?” Commissioner Gorden asked the young man in front of him.
“He tripped.” The young man said with a shrug.
“Uh-huh.” Gorden hummed as he looked over where the body bag was being pulled out of the restaurant. “And the holes?”
“I guess the canister finally went off. It's such a shame really. I didn’t even get to deliver a decent punchline.”
“Right… And what was your name again?”
“Oh, it’s Danny. Danny Fenton. But you won’t be able to find me if you look me up.” The young man, Danny, said with a shit-eating grin.
“You know you’re not supposed to admit to going by a fake identity right?” Gordan asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Ya, but it is my real name. You just won’t be able to find it.” Danny said as he shifted his gaze to the shadowed figgier in the nearby alleyway. “Not even you, Big Bat. But you're free to try.”
“Hn.” Batman grunted before stepping back further into the shadows and disappearing.
“Why do I feel like you are about to be… and he’s gone. Why do I even bother?” Gordan sighed as he looked away from where the Bat vanished and back to where Danny was supposed to be. He grumbled as he put his notebook away and started for his car. His car, that now had a little green sticky note on it.

Danny doesn't just lose his parents. No, he loses his world.
The GIW tried to nuke the Infinite Realms, only to tear open a hole in reality so great that there was nothing Danny or the other ghosts could do to save it.
His world was devoured.
Everyone on it was turned into full ghosts if they weren't already halfas.
Said halfas can't stay on their now ghost-world; their human halves wouldn't survive it. They need to branch out to other worlds and fine a place to settle down.
Danny, in his desperation not to become Dan (even though Dan is reformed, stop talking about him like he's some unfortunate fate fuck he already apologized), takes to popping into other dimensions to help.
Vlad, Dan, and Dani settled in one particular world that they keep egging Danny on to take a chance with, to just sit down and take a breather. It's a world with other heroes that step in, so that the halfas can just do what they want without having to play hero.
Which like. That does sound pretty nice.
But.
Danny cannot do that. If he stops moving, he thinks about what he lost. If he thinks about that, he'll grieve. If he grieves, he'll turn into Evil Dan.
He continues to travel, dimension to dimension, in the name of helping people. So he can put off realizing what losing an entire world means for just a few more seconds.
But he does visit the world the Masters set up shop in. He visits it a lot.
Just....not always to see them.
There's a farm, to the west of where they've settled. There's a real nice older couple on it, too.
He likes to go see if they need help.
They tell him they have a son, but he's never able to be around at the same time their son is. Which is fine, he's not sure how awkward that would be.
He just likes how...how calm it is. He finds himself spilling some of his worries, which shouldn't make sense to normal people. Except that this couple not only seem to understand where he's coming from, but when he mentions losing his entire planet, literally, they become particularly insistent on him meeting their son for some reason.
Which, alright. Fine. He'll go.
He just needs to go help a few more people, after he visits some family.
Danny's flight to Vlad's stupid mansion is wobbly at best, drunken at worst.
He collapses in the road just outside of Vlad's gates.
~~~~~~
Vlad, who settled in a lovely place called Gotham, where he can do all the shady business deals he likes and, provided they aren't overtly evil, the local vigilante won't care, is thriving.
He bought the mansion next to local playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne, settled in with Dani (he's still trying to buy her forgiveness) and Dan (who has decided he's Dani's protector). He swindled his way back into billions.
He steers clear of Bruce Wayne's fortunes, though, because possessing the lover of Batman is a very bad idea.
He's trying, per his promise to Maddie and Jack, to get Daniel to settle down and pick up normal life again.
The boy is going to wear himself into the ground and become a true, full ghost if he does not take care of his human half.
Sure enough, upon one visit, the idiot passes out in Vlad's driveway. Well, not passes out. He's still in ghost form, still at least partially awake.
But still, rude.
In front of the neighbors, too!
Vlad laughs it off, picks Daniel off of the ground, waves at the guileless expression on Wayne's face as the idiot watches from some fancy car, and takes Daniel inside.
He's going to ensure the little idiot survives, whether he wants to or not.
~~~~~~
Clark gets a call from his parents; the malnourished kid, the one that they're sure is an alien, hasn't been seen in weeks.
This is unusual.
Clark knows of this kid, of course. He's seen the news; Phantom is a superhero. A teenager.
His skillset, or what he's showed so far that has been documented via the news, is almost exactly what Clark's is.
But Ma and Pa have one more thing to say, one that ramps Clark's concern to paranoia.
The kid, Phantom, had mentioned his world being "destroyed". Had mentioned that there were "no survivors".
Had said that his family were in the "Zone", but that he couldn't stay there. That he had to leave the "Zone" and go find another place to live.
The last thing he'd told them was that he had to go visit family.
Clark feels like his heart is slowing down in his chest.
Like it's trying to stop.
This can't be another Chris situation.
But why would Ursa and Zod stop with just one child?
What if Chris was the second attempt?
What if Phantom was the first?
What if there's a portal opened, permanently, to the Phantom Zone? That would be beyond disastrous.
But Clark has no idea where Phantom went. No idea where to start looking; the kid had gone beyond the clouds before picking a direction, and Ma and Pa have no idea where he could have been heading. On top of that, it's been weeks, and there's not been a single Phantom sighting in the news, from any country.
He needs to find that portal, he needs to find Phantom, he needs...he needs Batman.
If anyone can find a needle in a haystack, when the needle is made of wood and the haystack is as big as a barn, it's him.

Information broker Danny
Bad Fenton parents reveal but instead of the usual Trope of going to Gotham he goes to Bludhaven just a few months before Nightwings first appearance.
Danny accidentally stumbles into information breaking mostly because he's Gathering all of his information himself by accidentally stumbling into back alley deals, he is not supposed to find and then turning intangible so he doesn't get shot at.
Danny isn't really Nightwings priority when he first gets there and he definitely uses his services as he's cut off from his main source of information.
The two of them end up having a very good relationship as the two of them are bouncing quips off of one another by their second meeting. Danny brings out the side that is mostly tucked away at the time from Nightwing as he is still in his angsty just left home phase.
Nightwing doesn't tell the bat family about Danny originally because he is estranged but eventually it becomes Danny being only his team. Gotham has all of the bat family and Nightwing has Danny. It will take years before anyone meets Danny.
