MY WORK EXPERIENCE DIARY

Pub Quiz

Last night my team and I ran a pub quiz at the One Eyed Dog in Portsmouth. We organised the pub quiz to raise funds for our film NO DOGS. The event was very successful and enjoyable. This was a great way of raising money

Research of Duelling Productions. Started up by two brothers who happen to be family friends. Charlie works on the film side of the company and Jamie runs the theatrical side. In the picture is 2 of Charlie's films that were a great success. It was an amazing opportunity to work with this up and coming duo and I hope to work with them again in the future.

WORKING ON A MUSIC VIDEO

In April I was a Production Runner on a series of short videos for an American artist, the company I was working for was Duelling Productions. This was a great learning experience as I've never been on a music video set previous to this. I got to witness the creation of props and the set as well as working on the production. I gained many contacts this day and would love to work for them again.

Skills and Strengths

Working as a Production runner allows you to start at the bottom and get a foot in the door. These are the jobs I wish to apply for after graduation.

I have researched Entry-Level roles to give me an insight on where to start in the industry. This link gives options for any role you could potential wish to go into and therefore gives me the knowledge I need to understand the roles themselves and where I can develop and grow my role in the industry.
