‘‘it so is. luckily..’‘ sliding a cup in front of her, cato walks to the other side of the table and takes the seat across from her with a raise of a brow. ‘‘i’d smack my hands on the table, but it looks like you’d really kill me if i did so. i came to check on you, see if you survived this.’‘

                    “oh, no…” hayden whined as soon as she realized that she was recognized underneath a hoodie and an oversized sunglasses. “this is definitely… not the look of a woman who had too much to drink last night.” she explains, despite it sounding like she absolutely needed another cup of coffee. she didn’t wanna be rude to the person right across her, so she removed her hood and shades to have a better look on the other person (or maybe, her need for company is kicking in again). “anyway, what’s up?” @shstarters​

“I think I like ‘detective’ better, honestly.” She teased with a playful smirk toying on her lips. Laughing at his question, she brought her cup back up to her lips, taking another sip with a roll of her eyes. “Only if you have a secret girlfriend somewhere. If not – go sign up for the kissing booth. Have fun.” 

‘‘Detective seems too formal. Reminds me of getting called sir.. never liked it. But-- here, I seem to like it when you call me.. detective. Too weird?’‘ He takes a moment to look over at her, lips curling almost playfully as he takes a quick sip from the cup. ‘‘No, no. I was just messing with you. I’m kind of enjoying the drinks, and just.. watching all.. that.’‘

‘‘I’m not on duty though aspen. you know you can call me cato.’‘ cato says with a groan, looking over to her dramatically as he takes the cup with a hint of a smile. ‘‘nope, i think i’m good in that department. would someone be a little jealous if i went around kissing anyone?’‘

“Hey, detective,” Aspen said as she slipped beside the male. She had two cups of alcohol in her hands ( well, a cup and a half ). “I hope you’re not on duty because I got you this.” Flashing him a smile, she handed him the full cup before taking a sip of her own. “And I hope you aren’t going around just randomly kissing people. I think that’s frowned upon.” She teased. @catoxprice​

MAEVE  LOVED  GETTING  HER  WAY .   their  argument ,   as  dumb  as  it  was ,   was  giving  her  a  whole  world  of  entertainment .   &   now ,   as  she  stood  next  to  cato ,   she  elbows  his  arm  slightly ,   more  than  excited  to  prove  him  right .   ‘   can’t  wait  to  hear  you  admit  that  i’m  right ,   ’   she  chuckles ,   accepting  the  cup  with  glee   &   being  careful  not  to  trip  over  her  own  feet  as  she  makes  her  way  to  the  table .   luckily ,   the  coffee  makes  it  there  without  any  spillage .   ‘   everything’s  going  well  for  once …   got  my  own  company ,   found  a  good  guy  finally ,   &   best  of  all ,   i  have  my  friend  surrendering   &   trying  vanilla .   ’   brows  raise  as  she  goes  to  take  a  sip  of  coffee ,   making  sure  to  exaggerate  on  how  good  it  was .    ‘   how’s  everything  with  you ?   ’

‘‘-- LISTEN, I’M never wrong about these things. i’m humoring you, i figured i’d try it just to see how it is.’‘ for a moment he looks completely serious, but his lips start to curl up as his nose scrunches slightly. he’s finally made himself comfortable in his seat, fingers drumming along the side of the cup as he listens to her. the smile doesn’t leave his face, eyes rolling playfully. ‘damn, maeve. super proud of you, you’re gonna kill it with your company. i don’t know if you can run in heels, but i’m imagining it now-- and you’re probably gonna be some badass business owner. ‘YEAH? make sure this guy knows, I’M A COP.’‘ so he looks down at the cup for a moment, lips pursed before he finally brings it up to take a sip. once he sets the cup down, a hand runs along his face in thought before he lowers his head. ‘‘-- you were right. but listen, everything is doing swell with me. back from assignment, trying to enjoy everything.. all that fun stuff.’‘

morgan: hi ! i'm super sorry about this morning. i'm new to 'hook up culture' so, i didn't know that it wasn't normal to invite you to have breakfast with my parents. i'm sorry for that, i thought i was being hospitable... and i'm sorry for not letting you know that i still *lived* with my parents. it's a tricky situation.

“So,” Madison sighed as she spoke to the person sitting across from her outside Deja Brew, “What do you think?” She paused to a take a sip from her coffee before continuing, “I love teaching the little ones, but I feel like I need to try something new. Should I jump into teaching high school teenagers, or stick to my babies?” @shstarters​

with half a work day today, josh found himself with some free time for the first time in a couple of weeks. deciding he needed to run a few errands, he headed out of his apartment and to town to pick up a few groceries and supplies he needed for his current project at home. he had been standing in one of the aisles at the hardware store trying to find a light structure when he heard someone call to him. “oh, hey. did you need somethin’?”
