Honestly I love tall Dave and short Karkat and tall Karkat and short Dave stuff a lot, but like

Small Dave and small Karkat.

Dave and Karkat being the same height for a majority of their lives and they just whine and complain about how much taller everyone is than them and how being short sucks so much ass.

Dave and Karkat being stubborn and refusing to ask anyone, even each other, to help them get things down when they can’t reach them.

Dave and Karkat feeling really awkward and out of place after becoming kings of the Troll Kingdom because everyone else is too tall, fuckin trolls and their average height of like six or seven feet.

Bonus; When Karkat becomes an adult he of course gets the Adult Troll Growth-Spurt but he only ends up being a little taller than the average human height(about five foot nine or ten), which is still pretty small for trolls.
