Hey everyone! I'm Audrey, a 25 years old French girl who LOVES Disney. And Harry Potter. And The Legend of Zelda. And... practically anything that involves animation, magic, adventure or humor. Disneyland Paris is my Laughing Place. I mostly reblog, but keep an eye out, just in case a wild original post would appear😉

Oh my god, food extract is not the same as an essential oil.
Food extract is the flavoring of something cooked down into a carrier oil or alcohol that is safe for human ingestion.
Essential oil is the pure extract of the plant refined down and distilled for concentrated medicinal purposes to a significantly higher strength than simply adding ground up mint leaves to your water. The two are not comparable in any way.
Cinnamon extract and cinnamon essential oil are not the same thing.
One is about 100 times the strength of the other and can also cause acute organ failure. I’ll give you a hint, it’s not the food extract.
Sweet gods I’m not trying to be mean, I want you to be aware and safe and stop putting yourselves and others at risk. Please.

tbh i wish that tumblr took germaphobia more seriously as far as tw tags goes. Every so often (and i mean on nearly a weekly basis) theres some post with a "fun fact" about how a toilet flush covers every square inch of your bathroom with toilet water and these facts are in no way productive to a recovering germaphobe. Im talking years of intesive therapy threatening to go down the drain because I'm afraid of breathing in or brushing my teeth with ecoli. There are some aspects of germs that i can control and some that i cannot. I can't control that 1% of germs that doesn't die on contact with hand sanitizer. What i can control is the ritualistic way i go about my day to avoid germs that probably won't harm me. I don't touch doorknobs. I rub my phone down with an alcohol wipe regularly. I hold my breath when i flush the toilet and i don't touch my belt after washing my hands. It makes doing basic household chores like doing the dishes nearly impossible Before therapy i used to wash my hands until they cracked and bled. I couldn't go anywhere without constant dread of contact with the outside world. Germaphobia is a big deal that i see virtually no one on this site talk about and it can be taxing on my every day life trying to remind myself that I'm safe and try to stay calm because i brush my teeth in the bathroom instead of my bedroom or the kitchen.

This guy is my new hero. I LOVE learning about native food plants that just grow everywhere without human help.
The database is a little clunky to use (especially on a phone), but still loads of excellent information.

for all you writers out there:
donjon has tons of generators. for calendars. for demographics of a country and city. for names (both fantastical and historical) of people, nations, magics, etc.
this site lets you generate/design a city, allowing you to choose size, if you want a river or coast, walls around it, a temple, a main keep, etc.
this twitter, uncharted atlas, tweets generated maps of fantasy regions every hour.
and vulgar allows you to create a language, based on linguistic and grammatical structures!!! go international phonetic alphabet!!!

The two types of fantasy writers
1. Feverishly calculating the body mass of your dragon species, spent 5 hours last night researching the origins of steel, losing sleep over horseshoes, 20 tabs open, should a cockatrice be warm-blooded?, will die if they don’t immediately figure out when honeybees were first domesticated
2.
