One year ago, I was at @hillaryclinton headquarters in Brooklyn. I answered questions from people trying to vote, and with another volunteer followed the returns. After the bad news broke and finally settled in, I found myself hugging a crying woman I'd never met before in the women's room, each of us comforting the other. (Another volunteer gave me a shot of scotch before I headed home.) I'm so proud to have done everything I could to get this amazing woman elected, and I'm proud that even that terrible night was one marked by kindness. #ThankYouHillary for building a great team, for being better than the hand you were dealt, and for never letting anyone shut you up. #resist #ImStillWithHer #IllAlwaysBeWithHer #ImWithPurr
