Delegate for Bernie Sanders
Although I’m a lifelong Democrat, I’m part of the new wave of resistance that started in 2016. My teenage daughters got me interested in Bernie Sanders and joined Northern Virginia for Bernie Sanders early on -- getting petitions signed to get Bernie on the ballot in Virginia and doing GOTV for the primary. I was a Delegate at the 10th CD Convention in Sterling and a State Delegate for the 10th in Richmond in 2016.
