Welcome to the FanSub project: Subs-de-Ladybug-et-Chat-Noir!

Hi everyone!

We’re an international team of Miraculous Ladybug fans, who came together in a quest to offer faithful English subs for the French dub of the show. We’re picking up from where our first big Fandom Subbing group, @miraculousubs, left off, so we won’t be uploading the episodes they already worked on. We hope our work will be of use for analysis and general curiosity!

Our translators are all native French speakers, working with native English speakers to provide content that’s as accurate and natural as possible. We’ve also made sure to include notes to explain French expressions where needed. We’re very excited to finally share our work with you!

Disclaimer: this is a fan project that we’re running beside our real lives; there won’t be a regular uploading schedule, and the episodes won’t necessarily be uploaded in order. We’ve also decided not to create a new community to interact with: our discord will exist solely to share the episode links with the fandom. We kindly ask you to respect this choice.

And the plot of that special episode is:

" Marinette, Adrien and their friends want to actively fight plastic pollution in Paris. The adventure leads Marinette to realize that the group must try to solve the root problem by trying to meet the largest plastics manufacturer in person and convince him to change his mind, but the supervillain MONARCH has other plans..."

But... who is this "Monarch"??

Well, Monarch is none other than Gabriel's new supervillain name!

This was confirmed by Ferisae (brand ambassador), who affirms that Gabriel will use that name in Season 5 now that he has most of the Miraculous in his possession...
