Me, not a part of this years-old conversation:
In my opinion, Doomsday was sad but Journey's End was sadder.
You see, the Doctor had all these friends and their families and their organizations and every single person really, really, really cared about them and their cause.
And suddenly, all at once, they lost literally all of that. Rose went to the other universe with 10.5, Jack did...whatever Jack did (I have not seen one second of Torchwood and I refuse to watch it), Martha had already decided to leave the Doctor, and Donna had to get her memories wiped.
Through those losses, the Doctor's connections to UNIT and Torchwood were severed. The only remaining connection was Wilf, which dissolved when the Doctor regenerated.
Do you see what I mean?
half-helterskelter-half-twinkly replied to your post: My BFF just texted to tell me that she finished S2…
Maybe she’s watching Classic Who S2?
Nope. She says it’s because it’s just “regular early 20’s drama and they couldn’t last anyway." And I’m like "I knooooowww.”

Neither Courage Wolf nor Calming Manatee were doing much to help my anxiety, but I knew they were both on to something.
So, I created Calmage Wolfatee.
