Brecht Lost Plot Lines and endgame thoughts

I definitely wanted Brecht to end up with El ( @atimefordragons ), I don’t think he would’ve wanted to become King, he’s not suited for ruling, but I think I wanted an overall happy ending for him. Dick Dad had to die, you don’t put a tyrant in jail to end their reign, you cut off their head, his mother probably would’ve lived though, sister either Queen or Sivalon is divided up by the other kingdoms. So, depending on whether El would want him, Brecht would either be her consort, living it large and basically just playing househusband and best dad, or he’d travel, see the world, live with and use magic without fear ya know, be all smilely or whatever. 

After round 4, I think we wanted that whole save the world debate or stm, honestly, I can’t remember shit. oops.

I was feeling nostalgic, and decided to make a picspam thingy for Él. I miss my little tyrant-in-the-making Queen. Also realized that she’s been the basic template for like every character I’ve been making for the past two-ish years. No wonder I became obsessed with Nika so much, she was completely different from Élodie. Anyway, Él actually broke years of writer’s block for me, so she’ll forever have a special place in my heart. One day oc battle groups shall be revived my darling, and we can battle once more, and like, figure out your end game and shit. Some members interpretation/view of Él as someone with ambitions of conquest (mostly @/sakuuya from polyvore and her oc King Sidrus II) were kinda inspiring me to maybe take Él down that road. Or least have stronger hints of a conqueror or something. Idk. I was also still trying to figure out where to go with her and Brecht (belongs to @/cassinixii). Still undecided on whether she would’ve actually married him or not (soz Brit), depended on his social standing post-war probs.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I honestly have no idea what this was for? I can’t even make out the person’s face ‘cause polyvore is so low quality. Maybe it was for Carousel of Horror or Hope & Glory, but I legit have no clue. Maybe it was supposed to be the Josh and Akilina set, but I’m pretty sure her powers were different from Vitya, so it doesn’t quite work. Oh well. Whatever.

@/dashingpirate Sure, please be aware that she won't be the only one he dances with, but his dance card certainly isn't full. I hopefully will be on again tonight or tomorrow morning, so I don't mind discussing it further over pm or comments, which ever you prefer.

@/aenir I read the beginning of your entry, and I love the idea of Brecht inviting Adrian to the palace, a great friendship building moment for him. Adrian can still assist in directing the guards to the outdoors, since Brecht goes in the opposite direction upstairs to hide in the visiting Arithian queen's quarters until they depart the next morning.

@/decoder13 Awesome, I do have some ideas, but they're on my laptop, so I'll try to message you about them tonight or tomorrow morning.

Hello everyone, I'm so sorry for being MIA for so long. Been super busy with work (training interns is the worst and I do not recommend it. They are unbearable.) And thank you @/drownedinmoonlight for the kick in the kabous and reminding me about this.

Now, I don't really have much time, I'll try to log in again tonight, or maybe during the weekend, but I also have assignments for uni, plus a presentation for work, so no promises there.

I had meant to pm @/decoder13  to ask to use your/her oc in helping facilitate brecht's escape, but I never got around to it, because work.

So here is a break down of what I had planned: Basically, he'd play good prince at the ball for a while, and chat and mingle, and even dance (slightly uncharacteristic of him, but he's sort of looney at the moment), about halfway through, he'd make a big speech about his father being a hypocrite and a tyrant, show off his magic with some sort of massive ice-y explosion, and "disappear". he doesn't actually leave the castle until the next day though, my plan was for @/decoder13's oc, Cyril (and I'd presume they were connected by Jay) to magically mask parts of his appearence to pass him as one of @/drownedinmoonlight's oc, queen elodie's guards, and he'd leave with her entourage the next day.

1. Aeron Greysalt || 38 || son of Victarion by a salt wife Victarion's eldest child, and his eldest child by a salt wife, Aeron is a warrior, and until he was about 10, was groomed as the next heir of House Greyjoy. A capable commander and a fierce warrior, he is a very bitter person, and believes that the title of "Lord Reaper of Pyke" rightfully belongs to him. He is a religious man, carrying great belief in the drowned god, and wears full armour while at sea as he has no fear of drowning. He's a physically powerful and brutal man, but not a very smart one.

2. Kyra Greyjoy || 28 || Heir Youngest child, only daughter, and rightful heir. There is some contention regarding her being a woman, and there has never been a female Lord Reaper of Pyke, but she is as Ironborn as any of them. Kyra is everything her eldest brother is not, she is not just a capable commander and fierce warrior, but she is an intelligent one, using clever tactics to defeat the enemy instead of charging in headstrong without a plan. Her ship is named "Tala", a High Valyrian word meaning "Daughter".

3. Aladale Greyjoy || 56 || trueborn brother of Victarion Occasionally derogatorily called "Greenlander" and "Ser" as he spent some time with a Hedge Knight named Ser Loreth, and learned the ways of a knight, but Aladale was never knighted, he was offered, but he refused, as knighthood itself is not amongst the old ways of the Ironborn. However, Aladale is rather fond of the comforts and ways of the Greenlands of Westeros, and often dresses in their ways.

4. Victarion Greyjoy || 60 || Lord   Lord of House Greyjoy, Lord Reaper of Pyke, and Liegelord of the Iron Islands, Victarion won his position by Kingsmoot, an ancient Ironborn tradition dating back to the days of the First Men. As Kingsmoot is not dependant on hereditary claims, this passed over the claims of two Ironborn in the capital, as well as some at Driftmark, and has earned him and the remaining Greyjoy's at Pyke some ire. He is rational and practical, and has already named Kyra as his rightful heir.

{x} What do your house motto/words mean? Do your people take them to heart? On a literal take, it means that they are not farmers. But on a deeper level, it sort of means that they are above the other lords in Westeros, many of whom have farms, even if they don't sow themselves. To the Ironborn, things like farming are lesser tasks for lesser men, meant for thralls (indentured servants, aka slaves). They absolutely take their words to heart, House Greyjoy are Lords of the Sea, for all they are and have, they pay the iron price, not like the Greenland Lords who do nothing to earn their keep.
