How are you feeling today? I'm exhausted, lately I'm following a course that will give me a certificate to become a professional character designer and I have little time to draw what I like but I have some exercises I did during the lessons are not that interesting but if you want to see them I'll post them!

My name is Irene I am 24 years old and I am Italian, I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, as a graduation project I brought a short stop motion video that I would like to show you soon .

My dream job would be to become a character designer and illustrator and I'm still trying to get noticed on social networks hoping to work on some commissions soon (by the way if you like my work don't hesitate to write to me! Hello everyone!

Today I am showing you a project I did for a university exam in intaglio!

The project consisted of creating a matrix in Plexiglas by 'scratching' it with an awl... then the ink was deposited in the grooves and finally printed with the press (a table with a sort of roller press that allows the paper to be pressed evenly against the matrix).

I'll be honest it was hard work but I really like the result, as the theme of the project I chose to make a sort of summary of the Netflix series "The terrifying adventures of Sabrina" a series that was not very popular perhaps because of the unsatisfactory ending...
