Meet a few of the strong, talented women who create our beautiful rugs! This women’s collective was started 26 years ago as a way for single moms, widows and unmarried women to pave their way in the world and make a living. They work hard to continue to pass down the tradition and culture of their Zapotec roots and share it with others. Not only are these women helping their families, but they also help give back to the community by creating recycling programs and social programs to educate the women of the community. It was so amazing to watch them work using time old techniques and we are beyond proud to work with them.
