my family is from Gaza 🙏🛑

It consists of 5 people, my mother, my father, my wife and my two children. My father and mother are elderly and live with difficulty due to the lack of medicine and chronic diseases. My daughter Ayla, 4 years old, was dreaming and is about to enter school. She lives without food or anything. The situation is getting worse and the cold is very difficult. We live in danger and death every day. My wife Saba is a nurse. She was dreaming. After more than 4 years because of the war, she did not complete her last year of graduation and now she has a very difficult life. Ibrahim had a job and because of the destruction of the occupation, we now live without anything and the house that was partially destroyed, we live in and the rain is falling on us. I ask everyone who can donate through the link or save this family, or whoever cannot, please participate to reach the goal and outside safety. We try every day and wait for the crossing to open to leave safely. My family and I, if we are alive, until this time.

we do need to revisit the wording of "you can't have your cake and eat it too" because i don't think it clearly enough conveys that it's more that you can't simultaneously retain a cake and also get to consume it (which would render you cakeless). for years i was like But why not....it's my cake....?

man i don't know how to say this but gazans here are risking their lives to make posts asking for help. they are asking for you to contribute a small amount of money to buy food or medicines or get shelter.

whether we like it or not, we are complicit in this genocide. either because of our silence, or because our tax money if being used to bomb them. i thought that people would be more eager to help gazans, trying to 'reverse' the damage somehow.

contrary to what i thought, people are moving on. they're moving on from the al-shifa hospital strike, they're moving on from refugee camp massacres and from school bombings, they're moving on from dead children and orphaned children.
