various funny little bgs for blinkies. two fancy gold border ones, a cute rose one, and some funky sci-fi one i put together while messing around with the radial drawing assist in procreate. unfortunately procreate doesn't let you put in text without obscene anti-aliasing so it's just the backgrounds lol

okay guys im gonna mention this because its something REALLY important.

if you use the small text feature on your posts please dont use it for vital information. not just tos information but literally anything thats important to the post (credits if applicable, kin/id/fo tag info, etc). if its something that isnt important like boost tags, then this doesnt necessarily apply but itd still be ideal. small text can't be read by screen readers and is also hard for visually impaired people to see. I cannot easily read small text because I have generally bad vision, so imagine how hard it would be for someone who has a severe visual disability.

make your posts accessible. at the VERY least, make critical information accessible. in my personal opinion you do not have the right to blame other people for not seeing vital tos information when you've made it inaccessible to those who are visually impaired. do better.

the reason im saying this is because a specific editor has been blocking those who have pointed out that their tos information on their posts is not easy to read. im not going to "call out" who because I dont want to start a whole slew of drama. be aware that your "aesthetic" choices are at the cost of making your content inaccessible to disabled people. it is not that hard to put tos in the regular text that is easy to read and can be read by screen readers. it is a deliberate choice that some people refuse to make for some reason.

In WarioWare: Get It Together, the "Don't Waste the Paste" microgame consists of the playable character squeezing toothpaste from a tube. As is traditional for WarioWare games, on higher difficulty levels, the toothpaste has a small chance to be replaced with an unexpected object, in this case a long dog or a long cat. Here are the graphics for the long animals, extracted from the game's files.

Not the usual type of post, BUT! Something I really hate about the web graphics community is just how much of its content is made up of stolen/uncredited graphics. I can understand not crediting for profiles, websites, etc. (if the author doesn't require it) But reposting them on social media (especially with the intent for others to use) without attribution feels really immoral to me and contributes to independent artists having their work misused.

Of course, I understand that some of these formats are so old and prevalent that there just isn't a proper source for a lot of these graphics. But if you can't find the source of a graphic, maybe don't repost it to further the damage? I feel like that's obvious.
