A spring dress for Ruthie
I’m working on expanding Ruthie’s collection (like Ivy, she only has 4 outfits!) I had an adorable baby dress that I thrifted a couple of years ago, intending to make over into a doll dress, but the never could pin it to the right era. Last night I was looking at Ruthie’s collection and realized she didn’t have a “fancy” spring dress to fit in with my desk display. I decided to rectify that and, as I was looking for the right fabric, the dress literally fell into my lap. I’m proud of the way it turned out, since I had a limited amount of the smocking to deal with and was afraid it wouldn’t sit at the right level.
Now she fits right in with the others on my desk!
