Do the eyes of God seem to close with the setting sun? Darker than charcoal, is your breath falling asleep? The traitor of the regime; your sin is honesty You are the prey of the shadow chasing the night. ,

❘❚❜† Scarlet and gold clashed the moment their eyes met. He could not deny her own attractiveness; even among the courts of Sin, she could have well possibly been nominated as the most beautiful. So this was the queen. She certainly wore the aura of one, keeping her head high and gaze steady. Well then again, he couldn't be too surprised, as she was now a member of the higher, authoritative positions of Hell. To be honest, he was a bit surprised --- considering how much uproar she had caused, he had suspected that she was perhaps considerably weaker than the standards of both the royalty and the subjects.
He lowered his gaze. He could speak out against her later on. For now, he could do the least he could as a prince under the wing of a new ruler. "There's no need for such flattery." To some degree, even he knew of his well-defined features and would not deny his queen with such trivial matters. "I must apologize. I hope you understand that certain chores simply had to be completed." He couldn't tell her that he had deliberately been creating excuses to go to the human world to avoid meeting her----
|| ♡ ▌ —— Asmodeus. Lilith knew of him. What succubus didn’t know about the demon prince. There were so many royals of Sin, it was sometimes hard to keep up. The Queen only knew those of her court, she liked to remember their face, scent, and names. It was the best way she could keep up with them. Delicate fingers dragged around painted lips as she noticed the crimson ocular staring at her in the empty court. A soft chuckle escapes her as golden hues focused upon him, her dress bounced with her movements as she step really close to the prince. Smile widens as she speaks in a singsong voice, “Darling, you are even more attractive in person.” Such an icy stare. It sent chill. Lilith knew not a lot of people like that she was in power; however, she assume they would have to deal with it. “I am surprised we haven’t met sooner.”

❘❚❜† Perhaps attending a piano recital would have suited the male better than the opera had. He had believed that the tragedy would ease the restlessness he had felt for the past few weeks, and quite honestly wanted a bit of a break from all the human trafficking issues he had been facing. People were growing afraid of continuing in the business --- which of course, he could not entirely understand as a Prince of Hell. A miniature cloud slipped from between his lips as he exhaled, the cold bitterly lacing his breath. There were hardly any lights in this particular alleyway --- but what did he have to fear?

❘❚❜† As a few stray drops danced upon the back of his hands, the prince's eyes flickered ever so slightly. The widening crack between his eyelids revealed a cloudy sky, sunlight peeking through as rain made its way to the earth. A few seconds' worth of investigation revealed that he was at the very bus station he had been waiting at for an undefined amount of time. With a low groan, he leaned his head back, closing his eyes once again to fall into a light nap.

❘❚❜† A new queen --- quite honestly, there was no other reason as to why Asmodeus was present in Hell's royal court. Despite his dedication to the throne, there were other places he would have preferred spending his time at rather than before the rest of the royal family. None of his fellow princes were present, which of course was no surprise. The person he was about to meet only concerned him, after all.
Some had been quite shocked to hear of the shift in power that had occurred between the two sisters. However, the royal family (excluding the princes, for the most part) was often full of twists and turns he had never quite cared for; thus he did nothing more than raise his eyebrows upon hearing the news. Either way, he would be under the command of a queen.
As the massive golden doors clicked opened from behind him, crimson oculars traced from the floor to the edges of the dress floating across the empty court. She was approaching --- his new owner. He uttered not a single word, gaze as cold as ever.
