Evil Lives
In a dark version of reality where our beloved troublemakers don’t have good intentions but pure evil running through their veins.
Jay was much like his father. He always had revenge on his mind. The people of Auradon sent his father to the Isle, where the sorcerer no longer had his powerful magic and no longer had a claim to the throne. Jay was meant to be a prince, to be the sultan one day, to rule over his own kingdom, and Auradon robbed him of that. When he and his friends were sent to live there, he finally put all he learned of his father’s magical knowledge to good use. And like Auradon, he became a thief as well, but he didn’t rob them of their possessions, no, those petty trinkets could never satisfy the rancor he felt. Thanks to his fathers teachings, Jay learned to steal their essence, their substance, everything that made a person who they were, he took. What was left of his victims was a lifeless husk of who they use to be. And Jay never felt more alive than when he was draining a person of who they were meant to be.
Since she was young, Evie always knew she was better than her mother. The Evil Queen schemed to get rid of one girl that was better than her, and in such a ridiculous manner. There were times when Evie felt embarrassed whenever her mother told that story. You see, Evie had a brilliant mind and was an astonishing chemist, never faltering in her abilities and never doubting herself. Especially when it came to getting what she wanted. She knew she was the smartest, the most beautiful, and the one with the most powerful friends on the Isle. And she intended to keep it that way, no matter the cost. Whoever threatened her position in any of those three categories would always end up the same way. One night they’d go to sleep, only to be awakened by the pain of their own burning flesh. It was a simple concoction the disturbed clever girl created out of her various collection of toxic chemicals. Once she got to Auradon, there were so many pretty faces for her to disfigure, she couldn’t wait to get her hands on them.
In the De Vil house, it wasn’t the mother who yelled and berated her son, but rather the son who frightened his mother so much, that she let him have anything he ever wanted. She was so proud of the villain she was raising, even if her own son terrified her to no ends. She would tell him stories about those pesky puppies that always escaped her clutches before she could get her desired fur coats. When Carlos arrives in Auradon, there were so many fuzzy creatures to choose from. “Mom likes wearing the outsides, but me? I like playing with their insides.” He gave his signature chilling smile that shook anyone, even his friends at times, to their core. Carlos moved from animals to humans fairly quickly, he was always so intrigued with all the little parts that made people tick on the inside. As he would pull their organs and intestines out one by one, the fact that the people he chose were still breathing before he cut into them didn’t even phase him.
And then there was Mal. Mal always strived to win. She was born from one of the most powerful villains that ever lived. Her mother could have ruled worlds. Only, she didn’t, she was outwitted, defeated, foiled, you name it. Who would expect to fear someone so powerful that came from such a failure? She hated being reminded of it, she was ashamed to be related to her, and she aspired to be everything her mother never could. She wasn’t proud like she was, she was smart enough to not go at it alone. Arriving in Auradon with her comrades, she knew exactly what she was going to do, never letting her friends forget that how their parents failed would be their guide to success. “Mine put people to sleep. I do too, I just put them down permanently.”
As they make their way through the kingdom of Auradon, we see how much evil truly lives in these Rotten Four.

I woke up to the news that the world has one less spark.
Cameron Boyce was such a big part of my childhood, and life as I followed his work on Disney channel.
He had so much talent and energy that always drew my attention tonhin while he was on screen. I didn't get the chance to meet him personally but by all accounts he was just as amazing off set.
When I heard, it took me a while to process that he was gone. He just seemed to be the kind of person who was so alive that death couldn't find him.
He was taken too soon. He was a talemted person who worked hard and the world will never forget his smile.

don’t say rip
as with most jewish people who meet their untimely death while in a position of celebrity, i see a lot of well meaning people wishing cameron boyce “rest in peace.” and while i hold no one who says this in contempt or see it as disrespectful unless it’s a very purposeful act of erasing his identity, i’d like to remind everyone that “rest in peace” is an improper way of honoring the dead. the proper wish is “may his memory be a blessing,” and i ask that everyone be mindful to use this instead.
cameron boyce was a talented actor and generous heart, with a dazzling smile that i enjoyed growing up with even as i grew away from the franchise which let him shine. not much older than me, he left his mark on the world with the charity work he did and the love he had. it’s a sad day to see someone go, but i hope that his memory be a blessing for all of us.

the thing about being someone who’s never catcalled is that you start to wonder why like is it because im ugly???
and then you realize that youre judging your worth by whether or not you are objectifiable to a man and thats so fucked up like honestly its so fucked up
but the worst part about the patriarchy is that it still sits at the back of your mind regardless like “nobody thinks youre pretty because they dont see you as a sex object” like somehow thats a desirable thing and it fucks me up
