Hi stranger !

Welcome in my blog! My name is Carla, i’m a french student in master. I’m also an educator with children in troubles and I decided to make my research about the work of educator. My dissertation will be in two part.

First part of my research

The first part of my research concern the French measures available to educators so that they can work with children in troubles. I present two, the first one is the child welfare service (in french we say "Aide Sociale à l'Enfance") and the second is the personal project (in french we say the "Projet Personnalisé". The child welfare service concern all the missions of educators who work with children in troubles. For example, the child must be protected if he is in danger or reported to the authorities if he suffered of abuses. The personal project is a document that the educator write with the child, it contains his goals for the year.

One of the best books to understand what is the work of educator. This one help me a lot in my research.

Second part of my research

In the second part of my research, I present seven interviews with educators. I find more interesting for my research to ask educators directly how they work. I want to give them the opportunity to share their work difficulties and their daily lives.

Then I will do an analysis of the interviews to make a synthesis of the things that are the most difficult to live in their work.
