A bit Art-art and few words, images of unintentional art and romance. Romance in all times and situations, chairs and furnitures; forms and color that comforts minds. hmm.

Kan Xuan 闞萱
KanXuan Ai! 闞萱 哎!
1999
In Kan Xuan! Ai!, we see the artist running through a crowded passage at one of Beijing’s largest underground rail interchanges, Fuxingmen station. Captured in a realist aesthetic with a low-tech feel, she runs against the increasingly busy foot traffic and calls aloud: ‘Kan Xuan!’ The people in the tunnel cannot know that she is calling her own name. They watch the fleeting scene with curiosity but make no significant intervention.
