Father I think a bad habit of Vincent is that he loves to sometimes play hooky. He says he has a meeting with someone no one likes and go to the movies.

Even as Pope. So I just imagine he and Ray (also has this problem) just go to the movies together just in civilian clothes and this happens one a month. I feel like they get caught when Janusz is behind them to see Superman and that’s how they started to bring Janusz on their excursions.

All of them really like Superman and get coffee afterwards.

Okay so I have ten ongoing Conclave WIPs already and I don’t have the Catholic background for this one anyway but I just noticed in the book:

“God, no! I shan’t pander to the mob. I think I would prefer to go to the chapel and pray.” He smiled sadly and rattled something in his hand, and Lomeli saw that he was holding the travelling chess set. “Come,” he said. “Join me. Let us say a Mass for our friend together.”

Which, like, it’s 3AM when this happens, right? Cause Lomeli doesn’t get called about the Pope’s death till almost 2am. And this is the last we see of either of them for three weeks, until the eve of Conclave. So I think someone should write them praying together and then maybe going to breakfast? Like just some real good slice of life, mourning together potential there…
