319 i don't even know who like 90% of them are and it's idyllic. i recognize like 5 of the people i follow by tag and icon and like 10 more just by icon and thats it. sometimes they change icons and return into mystery.
How many people do you follow? Not your followers! How many people do YOU follow?

I don't know what other gen z think but personally i fucking wish other sites had ui like ao3. its so much more comprehensible. although to be fair this is the only social media i use so perhaps my website abilities are not generation standard.
I mean graphic design wise I would make some changes, but i would also make changes to just about every site i've been on so that means nothing.
we need ao3 back up for this person’s grandma specifically

Humans should have a TCAS system to avoid the embarrassingly awkward shuffle of stepping out of somebody's way but you both choose the same direction to step in

what was called "witchcraft" was a designation from the Christian/Catholics who did not like that the big majority of the healers (herbs and energy work) we done by women. In the Dark Ages, this was a good excuse to get rid by burning alive women (very few men) who dared know more and be successful with medecine! The essence of Patriarchy! They did not burn Witches, they burned Women!
...okay. I have no idea why you're sending this to me, or what your motivations are -- but let's unpack whatever the heck this is.
Depending on where we're talking about, the way "witches" were executed was varied -- in some places they were burned, but in other places (like England or the Americas) they were hanged.
People of all genders were targeted in the witch trials. Yes, most witch trials predominantly targeted women (because, yes, sexism is and has always been real), but in some areas (like Russia) they targeted predominantly men. And in the areas where women were the main targets, men still died too. Six of the twenty people killed in the Salem witch trials were men. Including Giles Corey. Who was crushed to death. And allegedly his last words were "more weight." That dude was fuckin' badass as hell, and we don't diminish his stand against injustice.
Of course none of the people executed were actually "witches." They were vulnerable people. Some were Jewish, some were mentally ill, some were just easy targets when a paranoia was sweeping a town, and some were folks being targeted for other political/personal reasons. Your oversimplification of who was targeted not only erases real victims, it ignores many of the very real issues that were responsible -- including things like antisemitism. Your desire to transform this into some empowering narrative is, frankly, gross.
And again, why the fuck are you sending this to me? I have repeatedly stated over the years that no one in the witch trials was actually a "witch." Where the heck have you ever seen me claim that? I have whole podcast episodes where I talk about this shit. We never refer to historical folk magic and folk medicine practitioners as witches, because that's a modernly reclaimed term. No one really called themselves a witch until the 20th century.
You got real "daughters they couldn't burn" vibes here, kid. And it ain't a good look.
