Carlos is probably a really shitty firefighter. Like the game said he died multiple times while fighting fires because he turned a wrong corner or went the wrong way. It’s very likely he just believes in his “intuition” so much that he doesn’t plan his route before going in.

Which is very funny to me because imagine working with him wondering how he became such a great firefighter then he tells you he vibe checks his way through life.
